    I too miss Bonner. I so bad want to use a local branch but Commerce is horrible. Tried to get some foreign currency which web site said this branch had. Of course they were out. So were three other branches. One call to Wells Fargo, boom over night to my house before noon. Believe me there are good banks out there

    Haven't had any issues with Commerce, and bankers here have always been nice and friendly when I go.

    What a horrible bank service, I came Monday to cash a check from the same bank, but my foreign I'd didn't work, They said I need a passport, so neat day came and brought it, But guess what I was on a line of 2 cars but got 1/2 hour of time to be attended, and then they ask me for my address phone number, and took more time, I am still waiting on here and don't know how long is going to take, I even had to get lunch, but I think I won't be able, is a waste of time come this banks, I never went thru a cituation like this in another bank.

    Commerce Bank is horrible! When you call your bank, even though you think you're getting a local number, it actually goes to a national number that is the same recording no matter who you are trying to reach. It tells you the wait time is approximately 2 minutes, and 32 minutes later you finally get a person who will not give you access to your information , simple things like, what was this check number that you issued for me online, unless your husband ,who you have a joint account with, is present as well. I'm sorry ,everyone in my household has a job and we aren't joined at the hip, so forgive me if my husband isn't present with me every moment of the day! This has happened multiple times and I have directly asked, my husband has directly asked, to please allow me to do the business but yet this "corporation" won't talk to me without him. Do we have to remove my husband's name from our joint account in order to get them to talk to me? Commerce is Too big for their britches. Stick to your small home town bank and avoid Commerce at all costs!!!

    Do not use this bank. Had been with them many years and was fairly happy. That is until you really need them and the security they should be providing. My car was stolen with my purse in it. Ofcourse nothing they can do. My debit card was fraudulently used. Again nothing they can do and card was cancelled and I had to fill out forms but money replaced. Had to go to bank, get new card, cancel all checks to old account. Old account not completely closed due to electronic deposits that go into that account from my work. Etc. when I received new checks that I could void to employment then I would close all together. 1.00 was kept in it and morning after deposits made I transferred money into my new account. Was working fine. That is until a week later. They let a check post that was supposed to have been cancelled and non existent. So obviously first person who helped me in fact did not cancel all checks. Oh and best part they allowed check to be signed by my husband that passed away two years ago!!!!! So you can’t report over phone. In fact you have to go into branch only to be told that you have to fill out 3 pages of paperwork and file yet another police report. This is their fault for letting this check post. I followed their directions the whole time. Then a lady also tells me she can print 4 voided checks to be given to my employer so we can close out old checking account all together. So shout out to employee who the week before didn’t tell me that. I feel violated and my money does not feel safe at Commerce. Please just do your research thoroughly when choosing a bank. Time for me to as well. I am out of commerce

    I have had an account with Commerce Bank for over 30 yrs. I miss the Bonner Springs location! The Midland Dr location has such slow customer service!!! They need more help to accommodate the drive through banking and the inside windows. It’s so irritating!

    I've been with Commerce for over 20 years. I've been working with the Midland branch for the last 7 years. I have always been treated very well by everyone at Commerce. They are always fast, efficient and accurate. Because of our business needs, we have had occasions where we were asking something a little out of the ordinary from the branch manager. She has always done her best to accommodate our needs. We have always been kept informed through out the process.

    Went in today with a buddy of mine to open a business account, the two bank tellers that helped us through that were both great. One was new and training and the other was very on top of things. After that I went to deposit a check that was written to me with my previous last name I had. I had the documentation from the state with the seal showing the name change of the name on the check to the name on my state issued drivers license and Commerce account. The branch manager flat out told me that Commerce will not deposit a check unless name matches my drivers license. I knew this to be wrong as I had read up on the policy before coming and asked the teller to please ask her branch manager why this would be any different than someone recently married showing their marriage certificate. Needless to say I was still told bluntly that they would not cash it. I called corporate to verify the policy then went to the Antioch location where they deposited it in under 45 seconds. I understand a teller being hazy on this policy but I would expect a branch manager to know basic policies such as these and clearly I am not the only one as the corporate line and Antioch location were both apologetic and shocked that I was denied service when I had proper documentation. Returned to the bank on Midland Dr to inform the bank manager that she needs to brush up on her own companies policies as its not the customers job to go above and beyond to deposit a check within the guidelines. She said thank you in a forced friendly tone but did not apologize. I will continue to bank with Commerce but this bank manager needs some training as they were clueless or lazy.

    Fantastic customer service, definitely take time to know you and your business. Both my personal and business checking is done here and the staff is fantastic. Feels like a small-town personal banking relationship but with the benefits of a much larger regional bank.
