Commerce Bank Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville

Great bank. My grandparents and my mom all used this bank. I still have the account that was originally theirs from 1999, provided paperwork so it's now my account. Three generations says something about their service.

If I could give zero stars I would! I've banked with them for many years and lately they are going away down hill. Got married and brought my marriage license in to change my last name and apparently no one changed it. So when I bring my check in to deposit it they tell me no even after I have showed them proof of my name change. I thought I took care of the all of this when I brought my marriage license in last time. Finally ran to a different bank and they were able to cash it for me and I told them the story and seemed like they were making a big fuss for nothing. I will be changing banks

This location seems to be busier than other locations I have visited but I have never experienced what the other reviewers have mentioned. Avoid visiting on a Friday if possible. All employees that I have worked with are quick, resourceful, and happy to help. The inside was closed for an extended (longer than most) period but is reopened. A mask was not required on a recent visit.

Commerce Branch -Wentzville-. I share the same feelings as everyone else here. Their employees are semi-rude when you question them about something. They work like they are unexperienced in what their suppose to be doing. Wait times for service when their bank is empty is like 10 minutes while they go dig somebody out of the break room. I just cancelled my credit card account. When I find another competent bank in the area - my savings and checking are going next!

Commerce Bank used to be a nice place to do business however, recently I was selling a car that I still owed a balance on. The buyer met with me at the bank so I could pay it off (with cash) and get a lien Release. Ha, no way possible the buyer would have to wait for a week! Obviously I lost the buyer. Lesson learned! Take another option when you buy a car and need a loan Commerce bank just didn't care. Do your business some place else!

I have been with Commerce Bank for over 20+ years. I moved out this way a year or so ago and the Wentzville location has been awesome!!!! How they have a lower score on the reviews baffle me. Look in the mirror 🪞 people, and I'll bet y'all have attitudes that need adjusting 🤣😂😅

I have banked at Commerce Bank in Wentzville for 20 years and I have consistently been thankful for their efforts to meet my most tricky financial questions. The most recent thanks goes to Katie on taking the time to assist on a variety of issues.

Yet another horrible experience at commerce. Today's banker was incredibly rude and condescending. Can somehow tell me I'm wrong while also admitting that they can not see what is in question from their end of the system. Take your money elsewhere, commerce is trash.

Called to make sure no appointment was needed. Was told no you don't. Asked if had to wear a mask. Was told no you don't. Once got to the bank doors where locked. Had to call number on door to be told that you do have to have an appointment. Then had to wait outside in the heat for at least 30 minutes before somebody could help us. Then was told I had to wear a mask after waiting in the heat and that they would not take any responsibility if I passed out once inside.

I'm shocked and very disappointed. I have banked with Commerce for ten years personally and have had a small business account with them for almost six years. I had some unauthorized withdrawals and had to change my account number. Commerce did not switch my bill pay over to the new account causing my payments to decline, resulting in my credit score to drop from a 790 to a 590 in a three week time period. I recently requested a loan for another business vehicle and they turned me down even though we have an impeccable track record on keeping a balance and paying on time. I spoke with Rich the branch manager and advised I would need to reconsider banking with commerce and his response was "I understand". I will be leaving commerce and not looking back. Also, I agree with the other reviews, this branch is way understaffed and slow.
