Comenity Capital Bank South Vista Station Blvd, Draper

This review is for Comenity Bank B&H Payboo Credit Card. I don't even know where to start. The customer service is awful, takes 3-5 business days to respond back through "secured message system". They do not even answer any of your questions, rather post the same reply like an automated person. When tried calling customer service, they sound the same, and will not help you at all. No matter what you ask, their answer is the same. They will charge you fees on top of fees and will not refund them as a one time courtesy (all other major credits cards waive those 1-2 times per year) but not Comenity Bank. Looking at their google reviews, I should have avoided them at any cost, wish I knew better. B&H Photo really needs to dump this credit card company and go back to Synchrony or some other major bank.

~☆~ ...Harassing me & my wife for my Uncle's ex wife from 30 years ago. I called them (Mrs. Sparrow ext. 1266156) when I finally realized who they was actually trying to get. I ask them to remove my phone numbers; we will find out if that was the case. Everyone that owes money. Pay it off. Cancel if it's a card. Transfer if it's a loan.

I give the bank 0 star. This bank is the most poorest hospitality bank. Please do not open an account with them, my account has been restricted for over a month now after submitting all required documents. They hold my money and don't allow me to make withdrawal. Please be careful don't bank with them if you have an account with them please kindly close down your account and bank with another bank.

Comenity has been down for weeks. Nothing works. Easy pay is a joke, the website says error when trying to make a payment and if you can they double charge you, can’t get through on the phones but if I do it’s silence or weird background noise or an out of office message. Comenity refuses to be transparent and they have hit me with late fees during this ordeal. This is absolutely disgusting. If anyone sees this file complaints with your state government entities and federal entities.

Huge scams organizations, they will be overcharging late fees after the balance is paid off , you will be surprised months later with new growing bills. I would not blame people who steal stuffs in Burlington stores because the company credit does worst.

I have a comentiy card for Academy. Not only did my bank send a check to pay off but now my credit has taken a hit because the system is taking longer then it should and if you call no one answer. Worse customer service

Quick To GRAB, but S-L-O-W To Respond It's now been EIGHT days since I first contacted this cash-grabbing machine (bank) to resolve a problem. I attempted to pay $40 on a BJs card I have through them. Instead, the entire balance of $840 was taken from my own bank account. I asked if they could return $800 of the $840 paid to the BJs card account. They SAID "yes" but NOTHING has happened. It took only seconds for the $840 to disappear from my account, yet it's been EIGHT days to return any money to me. STAY AWAY from any credit cards offered through Comenity Bank. They are not responsive, responsible or reliable people to deal with!

Never saw any bank has that low review rate like this one. Will never take any credit from the Comenity bank. I made all my payments on time, last payment in $42 was a few days over due and they charged late fee and finance charge. I called and tried to void some fees, but they didn’t want to talk about any exclusions. I had this situation with other bank long time ago, and they said if payment was made in 30 days period after promotion was end, they can void some fees. Base on the review here, the bank don’t care about their customers, they care about money and profit. Be aware.

OVER CHARGED when made payment on due date $40 and they only give you a part credit back and call it a courtesy. The App was messing up the day before when I tired to make the payment. When I called they said we see you logging in many times in the day before the date due. Yes trying to make the payment. I went to make a payment and the App was giving me issues, I actually uninstalled it to make my payment, still could not get it to work a day before it was due. I was at work so I could not call. I had to log in on my computer to make the payment. How is this legal ? Buyer beware I have always made my payment and many times over the payment amount. I have not actually been late it has been paid on the date due or before. I was working and could not get the app to work because it was 37 min different EST to MST I was charged a late fee. $40 I called and talked to customer service. Because I can not help the fact the website or the app was having issues. And they say that they can not do anything because of a similar issue back in March and they had given me a service and only part credit to the late fee when I made my payment on the due date but after EST. My customers would never put up with that.

Comentity sends out bills designed to scam people. It puts an incorrect amount on the bill. This amount will not meet the requirements of contracts with them to pay off your bill on time and without interest and penalties. It is very difficult to get the correct amount, and this is designed to scam borrowers. I have other payment situations-car, new AC-and the bills are exactly correct. Not misleading, not scamming. I would say that anyone should try to find an honest company. THIS COMPANY IS VILE.

AWEFUL First of all I don't even know I got a credit card I have been buying my clothes from Children's Place for a long time and I have never had a problem! Up until March when I purchased $104.00 I have now paid $140.00 canceled the card then I get an email I did not pay now they want $66.40. every month they are charging me $33.20. I will never use Children's Place again and it's so sad!

I opened an Express credit card with comenity Bank and have had it at a $0.00 balance for several months and was saving my shopping for my vacation that was planned. Well this bank is the WORST CC bank ever because I haven't carried a balance and don't owe them money, they Closed my account. Ridiculous!!! I will NOT be reapplying again. Screw you comenity bank.

Predatory lending practices. When paying your bill with a debit card. There is an $8 fee associated with this service. This charge double what is assessed by industry standards. Further they charge the $8 to your credit card and not the debit card you are paying with. So you pay interest on the service fee. Some may be naive and accept this practice. I say it is predatory. It disappoints me, this a bank is on the take. I may not be a customer long.

I paid for 275.00 balance 8 years ago, they have been harassing my entire family calling an leaving voice-mails asking for documentation instead of calling me!! When I called them, they said I owe over a 1000 dollars and they don't have the information that shows I have pay my balance from 8 years ago and they have sent mail to my address, I have never received anything!!!!

Appalled at the customer service within this company. The reviews are VERY true. They are shady at this organization. They punish you for making your payments on time and lower your limit. Ridiculous. I made a HUGE mistake by getting the Ulta credit card through this bank.

Garbage! I have a multi year certificate of deposit with these jokers. Every time I try to login I need to call customer service to reset my account information and they need to reroute me through several different departments. Not worth the hassle!

I purchased a line of credit through a different store. They transferred the credit to a second store. Then they transferred it to Comenity. All within a year. If I am a single day late on a payment, they will call on average 10-12 times a day to get my money, Usually with UNKNOWN numbers which I never answer. They always will call when I'm at work, and not available to answer the phone; but will not receive a phone call after hours. They refuse to set up automatic payments because reasons? The representative wouldn't tell me. 0/10
