Care to explain why you offer the COVID relief on mortgages and send notices of foreclosure months later? Or why your customer service ratings are disgusting and why we are waiting over 2 hours to speak to anyone with your company if we are already customers? We have your representatives on recording stating there were a bunch of new hires and they didn't know they needed to check correct boxes when offering the relief applications and extending the time frames in which the mortgages would start back up. We have tried emailing you, calling gosh knows how many times and still no direct answers about anything. On hold with your company while I'm writing reviews and emails anywhere and everywhere waiting for answers.

Loan servicing with CHFA was sub-par. I would not recommend them. Customer service was sub-par and rude. Automated phone portal was inefficient and lots of transfers to other portals. We refinanced with another company, CHFA owes us a refund from our escrow. 58 days later, we still don't have our money. Customer service said 30-60 days to get a new check to us. Meanwhile, our money sits in their account, gaining interest, while it should be in our bank. Shame on them.

CHFA has stolen my money as well as 19 other borrowers and isn't addressing it. 20 policies were paid on a bulk check that was supposed to go to All-State but CHFA mailed it and it was cashed by Bank of America and never received by All-State. CHFA isn't addressing the issue. The other 19 policies were already canceled according to All-State. Mine has had extensions as I've been on top of it with All-State. CHFA said they were re-mailing my payment but charging me another $2,000 that they say I will have to pay back (as they mailed my money to the wrong company already and didn't pay the bill) if the company they shouldn't have sent the check to doesn't refund them. So currently I have a negative amount in my escrow due to CHFA's error , 19 All-State customers have lost their insurance and All-State still hasn't received the payment. This doesn't seem legal or reasonable.

We are trying to sell our condo that we bought using a loan from chfa. We have been requesting the loan payoff for 8 days now and not a single person at this office has given us a truthful answer. I don't know if every single one of the employees here are incompetent, or if they are purposefully messing with me, and ruining my day to day life. We were supposed to close our condo yesterday, and now we might lose our buyers. We have been calling SEVERAL times a day for the last 3 days and haven't heard the same answer twice. You don't deserve to exist as an organization. Your employees probably should be working at McDonald's, and not be allowed to be responsible for hundreds of thousands of other people's dollars.

Easy to get into a mortgage, but trying to go thru a refi and pay off my mortgage and its day 9 and no payoff statement. Ridiculous how long it takes. They charge late fees for everything even if you are a day late. Disappointed in my service

As soon as my mortgage was changed over to these people They never notified me that I would be paying them from now on Anyways, I tried to post an online payment And the soonest they will process it on the website is 6 days out, wanting to avoid a late fee I called and paid over the phone $11 to use the over the phone payment.. it is what it is 15 days later I’m looking through my bank statement and they never pulled the funds ,now I’m on the phone with them again and now my payment is 2 days late, these people had my email but I was never notified that my payment wasn’t pulled I feel like that did this to get a late fee payment I can’t help but think that I’m not the first person they do this to

My dad passed away and unfortunately used chfa as his mortgage company. They made the entire process of settling the sale of house a nightmare. Would not communicate with my lawyers or even the title company. Sold the house and 2 weeks later they foreclosed on the property all because they wouldn't communicate. Cost me $4000 just to get it settled. Do not use this company to buy a house. You'll regret every single moment of it. If you need a payoff statement good luck. Took over 2 months to get it and that is after threatening to sue them. Get yourself a good lawyer, You're in for a hell of a ride.

After the experience my neighbor has had with this company, I am VERY disappointed in how they treat human beings. It’s understandable that so many people have gone through hard times, however the blatant disregard this company has had for my neighbors situation is appalling. She has done EVERYTHING they’ve asked her to do, she has turned in EVERY single piece of paperwork & documentation they’ve asked for… yet they STILL have not been willing to work with her. They have flat out lied stating they have not received paperwork despite her having all the read receipts & “signature required” proof of deliveries… they haven’t returned phone calls to her or her lawyer… and they have even SENT BACK checks when she has TRIED to make payments. She has all the proof under the sun that she is doing what they’ve asked yet they ignore it all. They are trying everything in their power to take my neighbors house out from under them despite my neighbors son being in stage 4 kidney failure due to sickle cell. My neighbor has even gotten help from charity who has ALSO sent this company checks to pay for their mortgage but again… this company has sent the checks back with no explanation as to why. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Horrible mortgage services and customer service. My husband lost his job after our original mortgage company sold our loan to chfa and we had a returned payment online and now will only allow us to send in a money order. No matter what day I send it they always "recieve and cash" the payment on the 23rd, there is no way the mail takes 3 weeks to get to the payment department. When they send mail it takes 7 days to be received by me, we have ended up with an almost $70 late fee every month, they don't want you to succeed they want you to fail and keep getting hit with late fees and will not clear our account to make payments online which is very frustrating. If at all possible do not use their mortgage services. Hopefully my complaint to the BBB will help as well.

First time Home Buyers don't go with CHFA I am sure there are other better first time home owners programs out there! I had made the mistake of paying first half of property tax and now the county says it's paid in full can't refund me because CHFA didn't make a second payment with escrow. When they seen the a payment made they didn't even give is a credit back for paying when we were not suppose to they just only paid one half which equaled up to the full property tax payment. So now we are out on the payment we made!!

They have been very hard to get a hold of, I need the payoff for my loan and they have not sent it We have been asking for the pay off for over a week. They say they can only fax it and that they have but we have not received the fax. My closing is now delayed and I am afraid I will lose the buyers. it is terrible that I have to wait for two hours on the phone and still get nothing resolved.
