My mortgage/home loan was sold to Colonial Bank Mortgage and they now service my loan. If you don't have to contact them, they are fine. But with their horrendous phone tree (with no way to just ask for a representative), super long hold times, and reps who hang up on you after waiting on hold for 10 minutes just shows how poorly they think of their customers. If I could move my loan to a different service provider, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Not a great place to get a loan from. They do not communicate internally and ask you for the same documents multiple times. They definitely treat you like just another number, even when your making a huge decision for your future. Very disappointed in my experience with them.

Eric was great and was very responsive during my Mortgage process. I really appreciated his responsiveness.

A very wonderful loan coordinator was my helper and guide the a refinance of a rental property and buying a new home in another state. Every step was carefully monitored, information shared, "tech" support was given, every effort was put forth by Charlotte Stirling in all aspects of the process. She and Colonial came thru for me. I'd use them again and recommend to anyone as a great loan company.

Worst Customer Service Ever!! Sat on hold for 2 hours and no one knew anything about the letter they sent me. Kept transferring me to other people who nothing.

Eric, Leah, the rest of the team, and Stephanie with the Title Company led me through the tedious process. I am glad I paid no attention to the radio ADS saying we can close your loan in 15-days or less. Time, details, relationship, and the final result were all done to our satisfaction. This is our third loan with Colonial. Starting a relationship with Colonial is worth it. Now is the time to Go Colonial, whether a new home, a refi, or cash out at today's low-interest rates.

We worked with Randy and his team - they did a wonderful job! He walked us through the mortgage process and even provided us multiple scenarios based on different home prices. Randy got us a great low interest rate. To top it all off, Colonial will always service our loan; it's nice to know we'll always be working with the same person! Don't look any further, just go talk to Randy.

Eric has a very good team supporting him. Leah Hall, Jackie Lamar are part of a well run organization. Leah was especially helpful in communicating what was required of me and updating me of the status of my refinance. The underwriting group moved a good pace and questions to me were handled (thru Leah) in a timely fashion. All this professional and friendly service made this a a great experience resulting in real saving to me. Also best refi rate. Strongly recommend. Thank you

Tom Smerke of Colonial was amazing to work with. I actually met Tom at the Open House of the residence I now call home. He is a true professional and throughout the entire home buying process I felt as though he truly had my best interest in mind. Poor customer service...always a problem getting in touch with them. Once you start talking to a customer service representative, the call gets disconnected. It happens so many times. The wait to talk to some is long.

From day one Steve Ceretto made sure we knew what our options were and what those options would cost. As first time homebuyers there was A LOT that we didn't understand but, Steve was patient and took the time to make sure we understood what the process was, what was happening at the time, and what to expect next. He answered every question I had and he always seemed genuinely happy to help us and be a part of our process. We have already recommended him to two of our friends looking to buy a house and will continue to recommend him in the future!

This company will take your house with just by their fees and late fees. In this difficult times they are more about hitting you up with crazy amounts in intrests and fees that you will never be able to catch up and they will take your home.

My real estate transaction was a “Short Sale” and complicated. Nonetheless, Mr. Webber was there for me throughout the process. He was able to answer questions that my own Realtor could not answer. He was very responsive when I needed to make changes to my loan. He was a Counselor when things weren’t going my way with other Parties involved in the process. Buying a house is always a complex process and taking a loan from a trust worthy company is always a challenge. From day 1 when I was introduced to Angie, she handled the entire process till the closure very efficiently. She did not hesitate in taking my calls during weekend and even when she was on vacation with my queries. She made the entire process very smooth and hassle free. We were very fortunate to have her. I will definitely recommend her to any of my friends and family

Generally speaking the people at Colonial Mortgage were very professional, courteous and helpful. Our refinancing proceeded very smoothly. However, I found their legal people very inflexible during this period when COVID 19 is rampant. I needed to appoint a Power of Attorney for the closing. Colonial gave me a hard time over who that person could be and then, when POA documents were notarized, Colonial rejected them because the Notary signed without using their middle initial. Come on!

RUN. They often apply your payments to other people's accounts then put you in foreclosure and takes forever to get it corrected. I am currently on autodraft which is supposed to give peace of mind but nope, not with this company. They often apply the payment incorrectly so you have to check on your account often to catch mistakes before it's too late.

I met with Karen Murray and she was a delight. She had a ton of knowledge, was flexible, great communication and got back to me everytime I had a question or concern. And she was personable and had a sense of humor..."stick it to the man!" 😆 I enjoyed my experience thru the process of refinancing. And she made is super simple, as long as I followed her directions. I really felt that she had the best interests of me, my family and my financial needs at heart.

They saved our house! We went with one of those online companies who a week before closing decided a closing date was a "suggestion". Amanda worked tirelessly, even during vacation, to get our house closed quickly. We even had a complicated loan that she handled AMAZINGLY!! The team has great rates, cares about their customers, and is through! DON'T TRUST ANYONE ELSE! According to our realtor, they've done this many times for her other clients as well.
