My daughter received excellent care when having her wisdom teeth removed. The staff was friendly from the front desk to the surgical team. I appreciated the time Dr Hayes took to explain the surgery and recovery. He and his staff made themselves available for questions and gave us good post-op instructions. My daughter healed well and had very little discomfort through her healing. I would highly recommend Dr Hayes and his team!

Dr. Hayes is honestly the best dentist I have ever had in my life. He is present, spends time explaining everything that is going on, the cause and effects of dental complications and is an all around a caring doctor. I don’t really trust anyone in the medical field, especially dentists. It always feels like they are robbing me at large. However, I trust Dr Hayes. He is also pretty real and funny and can make getting a tooth pulled pretty painless. No pun intended. Thanks to everyone at Coal Creek for being so amazing! I’d love to say I can’t wait to go back, but it wasn’t that good ;)

Coal Creek is awesome! My son needed to have two extractions and we were both nervous since we were only familiar with general dental care. We went from zero cavities to this and didn’t know what to expect but everyone was so professional and answered all our questions from billing to the procedures. The day of we were still a little nervous but I could tell we were in good hands. The extractions were done just after I finished my complimentary coffee and my son is jumping around like nothing even happened. Thank you, Coal Creek! Have had worst experience as well as a friend that went as well. Messed up both of our mouths ended up having to go to another surgeon to fix it. And that surgeon was shocked at what a horrible job this place had done. Staff was so unbelievably rude. They admitted they messed up but still charging me full price. DO NOT GO HERE READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS. THEY CHARGE WAY MORE THAN SHOULD AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.... BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. I HOPE THIS SAVES OTHERS FROM GOING HERE. Great experience with Dr. Hayes and his team at Coal Creek Oral Surgery! The surgery was very quick, and they took wonderful care of my teen. She felt very comfortable and relaxed going into surgery. We received very clear directions about post-surgery care, and healing was very quick. Dr. Hayes is very professional and caring! They were able to find my insurance and give me the pricing, which was exactly what it ended up costing us. Very reasonable for the services provided.

My family and I have had nothing but the most positive and professional experiences with Dr Hayes and all of the Coal Creek staff. Dr.Hayes is kind, caring, and professional. My whole experience from A to Z was amazing. I was scheduled for 2 wisdom teeth extractions and was very nervous about it. The entire staff from the front office to surgical assistants, and especially Dr. Hayes, helped make me feel more at ease. Dr. Hayes’s bedside manner was top notch - equal parts humor, professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommended!

I felt that Dr. Hayes didn't put forth much time or effort into his evaluation, and thought he came across as dismissive and condescending when I inquired further. The other staff that I interacted with were very friendly and the facilities were nice, but I still wouldn't recommend this practice or return here myself.

This is our favorite place to go for wisdom teeth removal. Dr Hayes has removed wisdom teeth for 3 of my daughters. He also easily removed a very sick 12 yr old molar from my son that no one wanted to take out do to it being “complicated”. He easily removed it. This last time I had two of my girls go in the same day to have their wisdom teeth removed. Everything went very well and they are healing amazingly. All the staff are amazing and attentive as well.

I had a wonderful experience and so happy I chose Dr Hayes to extract my wisdom teeth. I was nervous but him and his team were wonderful. I had very little pain during recovery and it was easy compared to experiences I’ve heard from friends. 100% recommend!

Dr. Hayes and everyone else who works here are so friendly and helpful and made my wisdom teeth surgery as painless as possible. They were efficient with scheduling and clear with their explanations so I was able to get my appointment quickly and felt good about the entire process. I also appreciated that they didn’t use opioids and instead used alternative methods for pain management (Exparel), which made the surgery and recovery surprisingly easy.

I was impressed during our initial visit when Dr Hayes encouraged my teenage daughter to participate in the discussion regarding her wisdom teeth removal. He addressed her concerns and made sure she was comfortable with the procedure prior to scheduling. His staff was friendly, and the procedure went smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, I appreciated Dr Hayes’ passion for avoiding opioids. My daughter was able to recover quickly with little to no discomfort while taking just Tylenol and ibuprofen.

Dr. Hayes and his team are fantastic! Let’s be honest, no one wants to go through oral surgery but like many other things, it has to happen. The team at Coal Creek made the procedure as comfortable as possible and took great care of me. The soft blankets during surgery were the best, they kept me warm and helped me relax. I’m glad it’s over but if I ever require another procedure for me or my family I wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

Dr Hayes is an excellent Oral Surgeon, he has worked on my teeth and mouth several times now and every time I have been very happy with the results. I recommend Dr Hayes all the time to everyone I know, because of his work and also his staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Everything was super clean and I felt like I knew the staff, as they were so friendly. I want to share my experience at Coal creek Oral Surgery, with others. I had never had surgery before getting my wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Hayes and his staff walked me through the entire process and answered all my questions. I feel like Dr. Hayes approached me as if I were a family member and that made me feel very comfortable. The process was straightforward and very well orchestrated. My healing was fast and I had no issues. I highly recommend Dr. Hayes to anyone in need of oral surgery!

I had two wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Hayes. I couldn't recommend him more. It was important to me to have a board certified surgeon. Dr. Hayes checked all the boxes. The care I received by Dr. Hayes and the staff was outstanding.

Their price is extremely high. So it ends up you still have to pay a lot more than other practices even after insurance. If you care about your money, do not go there. If you have a lot to waste, this is a good place to do that! Update: To be fair, I visited several dentists to compare implant cost. For this dentist, the price is high, 205 for Consultation/Evaluation(many dentists do this for free), 350 for CT, but if you have insurance, the patient pay part for implant is lower compare to other dentists(depends on type of insurance). I give 1 more star for that and decide to precede with this dentist. Will update After I get my surgery done.

HEADS UP. Giving this place and Dr Hayes 4 stars so maybe people will read this and not bypass the google algorithm that puts 1 star review on page 2. Go read all the 1 star reviews. Red flag not only on the insanely high costs, the super high fees for consultation (my consult literally was dentist glancing at tooth for 10 seconds), but more qualified and better rated clinics within 10 minutes of here had no consult fees and their insurance quotes were literally 80% below this office quote. So many red flags here, stay away and read the negative reviews. There are so many great places to get care nearby with dentists that aren’t horrific psychological warfare types. The female support staff felt under intense pressure to close a deal and “get everything right for the dentist” Dentist seems to diagnose people with random side issues (see negative reviews, this is some kind of personality issue with the dentist). This also happened to me and follow up with my GP was like hmmm, what is this guys psycho-profile. Not only did I have zero symptoms and zero profile for the diagnosis, the dentist diagnosed the “issue” just from looking at me from across the room. Very odd situation and being retired from a military background, red flags. (Before a reply we don’t see your name in our files response, am not using real name (female and do not like leaving public internet posts with my real name). Wish I had read the many 1 star reviews before going here.

First off, I'd like to say that I'm not much of one for writing reviews but in the case of Dr. Hayes and his staff, I felt it was pretty necessary. I went to see Coal Creek Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center to have a much-needed implant that I had been putting off for a several years. My dentist had referred his office to me and I am SO glad they did! I could not imagine having a better experience for an implant! The staff at Coal Creek was ALWAYS pleasant and very easy to work with. They were awesome at explaining everything in a way that I could understand and were wonderful about answering any and all questions I had. They were very caring and very patient with me. They even called a few times after the procedure just to check in on me and make sure everything was hunky-dory. Dr. Hayes himself is an absolute gem (but don't tell him I said that --> ha ha). He was very educated about my Type 1 diabetes (which is always a concern when having procedures done) and he was phenomenal about sitting down with me to answer my questions and calm my concerns. He was exceedingly understanding about my personal worries (I'm extremely - and embarrassingly - squeamish about dental procedures) and he took it like a champ! The implant itself went as smoothly as I could have ever hoped for! In fact, it even progressed faster than we anticipated. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hayes and the entire staff at Coal Creek if you need to have any serious dental work done. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and they also have a wonderful sense of humor (which is pretty important to me --> ha ha). They are one in a million and Dr. Hayes is simply magic!

Dr. Hayes & his staff at Coal Creek Oral Surgery are competent, caring & great to work with for oral surgery. My husband had to have total mouth reconstruction. Dr Hayes was able to do all the extraction of what teeth remained & put in all the implants in one sitting, which was what my husband requested. He has been helpful during the recovery phase of this very long process. He also has worked hand in hand with our dentist, to make sure the end result is a great set of teeth, that with proper care will last a lifetime. Thank you Dr Hayes for all the work & care you put into helping my husband have quality teeth & a wonderful smile again!

I never post reviews, but I was so happy with my experience with Dr. Hayes that I had to post. I had a unique and complicated case and got consults from 3 surgeons and he was BY FAR the best! He is so experienced and put me at ease. The procedure was quick and easy and I healed up very quickly. I highly recommend him and his team and already tell anyone who will listen. The whole office staff is friendly and helpful. The office is new and sparkling clean!

Had a great experience here with getting my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was caring and professional, and Dr. Hayes did an excellent job with the surgery itself. I was nervous going in because I am older than the typical patient undergoing this procedure, but everything went very smoothly and healed well with no complications. I had almost no pain afterwards due to the long-lasting local anesthetic that was used.

My 12-year old daughter required extraction of 3 molars. We were referred to Dr. Hayes by our orthodontist (Dr. Weddle) and he also came highly recommended by our pediatric dentist (Dr. Schleicher). Dr. Hayes completed this procedure today and we are very pleased. The appointment went seamlessly and my daughter is doing great!

I saw Dr Hayes for a consultation concerning some gum soreness on my upper right where 2 teeth were extracted a year ago. After a free 3D scan of my jaw, a tooth root tip was noticed, but no apparent abscess so Dr Hayes indicated it could be removed if I felt the pain was excessive so I decided on watchful waiting. Dr Hayes spent almost 30 minutes with me reviewing this with me, and because of all this attention, I like to rate 5 stars. If conditions get worse, Dr Hayes will he the first to correct the problem.

Dr. Hayes is awesome! I had my two upper wisdom teeth removed a few months ago. The entire process was as easy as it could be. I had some unfortunate minor issues afterwards with TMJ cramps. It was very painful and I was really struggling to get over it. When I called for advice, Dr. Hayes was out of the office, but he actually called me while he was on vacation to answer my questions and assure me that I wasn't experiencing anything more serious. I'm was so grateful for that and I highly recommend him! Thank you!

I have scheduled a dental implant with Dr. Hayes in few weeks. So far, I am impress with the friendly and caring attitude of the staff. Dr. Hayes has worked extensively with my dentist. As a result several three dimensional digital images was created and Dr. Hayes explained the plan of my implants clearly using the images. I was also impressed by the financial coordinator staff that assisted me in saving some of the cost in the implant because my insurance is not covering the implant cost. Based on the explanations and reviewing the images, I feel confidant that the process will be done with a high rate of success. I have never done implant before and I am looking forward to see the result of the implant surgery. Dr. Hayes spent quite a bit of time and answered all of my questions. The financial coordinator explained the cost of each procedure to me and answered all of my questions. They have spent quite a bit of time with me and I did not feel rushed at all. I found out that Dr. Hayes is using a technique to control pain during the procedure that is very effective and it is avoiding narcotic medicines. I finally had the dental implant with Dr. Hayes, I selected local anesthesia and did not feel any pain, I felt a little pressure when Dr. Hayes administrated the anesthesia however there is no pain and I did not even feel the needle. The dental implant procedure was painless. Dr. Hayes' assistants were friendly and very professional. Dr. Hayes prescribed antibiotic for seven days and a strong Ibuprofen. During the first night, there was a little discomfort in the area where the surgery was done but no pain and had a little bit blood in my saliva. Dr. Hayes assistant called me on the evening and checked with me which was very nice of the office to check up on me. Next day, there was no blood in my saliva and I had no pain, just a little soar. I only took two Ibuprofen tablets and did not take any more pain medications. Next day I had a question on exercising and Dr. Hayes called me right away and told to take it easy for few days. I felt that he cares a lot about the quality of the implant procedure. Due to the space constraints in the area of the implants, Dr. Hayes had to spent a lot of time working with my dentist to make sure that the implants are precisely placed in the correct area. Today, I went to take the stitches out and the visit went well. I made the last appointment with Dr. Hayes in three months to put the caps on the implants. By the way, the front desk staff are great and friendly.

Dr. Hayes did an amazing job with my son's jaw surgery, couldn't be happier with the results. He is attentive to details, careful, knowledgeable and is a very good surgeon. Steph was very responsive and did a great job working with our insurance company. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Hayes and his staff are extremely kind, informative, and competent. I knew my daughter was in good hands from the initial consultation. My daughter's procedure went smoothly and her recovery was exactly as expected. Her pain was manageable due to Dr. Hayes' use of the extended numbing medication. Got all four wisdom teeth pulled at almost 30 years old and the staff was fantastic. Specifically every not-doctor (who you'll interface with way more) in the place made me feel very informed, comfortable and at ease going on for surgery and my recovery was made better following all their advice. Love that they check in post surgery and overall very happy with the experience! I'm about ten days out of surgery now and feel like I had a really good surgeon.
