My wife and I have been banking with Citizens for many years now. We have our home mortgage, rental property mortgages, and business loans all funded and serviced by Citizens State Bank. We've loved our experience. The staff at Citizens is highly experienced, extremely responsive, and friendly. They make even the most complicated tasks seem effortless. I recently switched to Citizens State Bank due to a referral from friends of mine. I was referred to Jordan who assisted me in getting several accounts switched over from my previous bank. He was incredibly personnel and helpful for the whole first experience at Citizens. I had to return today but Jordan was busy so I was helped by Sam who was equally helpful and personable. All of my experiences thus far have been so pleasant with cheerful and helpful people. It is such a refreshing experience to have an upbeat, cheerful vibe every time I have walked into the lobby. I recently opened a savings and a checking account here and am so pleased with how the process went. Never been so excited to be in a bank! I just stopped in to cash some checks and open a checking account and as soon as I walked in every employee said hello and welcomed me in. Since I was a new customer I was given a free coffee (which was awesome) and Sam Besl took me through the process of opening an account. Explained everything so well and was so friendly and kind! Honestly made my day just going to the bank 😅

Today i went into Citizen Bank with my Aunt to open my first checking account and debit card, which i have had been meaning to do for the past few weeks. I went to a few other previous banks with not much help and not great customer service, but as soon as i walked into Citizen banks i was greeted with warm smiles and the best customer service i’ve ever had! I want to especially thank Sam my banker for walking me through everything with managing my account and money, and for overall being really awesome and making me feel like i was making the right decision of joining this bank! Citizens State Bank has been the absolute best! I've mainly worked with Mike, and I can't say enough good about him. He's always in a good mood, he gets back to me almost instantly, and he's so knowledgeable. He's helped my husband and I on three investment loans in the last year, and every time their smooth, flawless process just blows me away. I opened up a few minor savings accounts here because of the great interest rate. This was my first time at Citizens and from the minute I walked in the door, I felt welcome and was even offered a variety of coffee drinks! Sam was great to work with and got the accounts opened for my kids in a really timely manner even though my husband could not be present for signing. We had a lot of laughs! My kids can't wait to take part in the savings club and come to the bank to play games.

This is my favorite bank so far! I walked in so my friend could use the bathroom at the cafe and we ended up getting a coffee and then I just fell in love with Abby & the environment. It's unlike any other bank out there. It's actually FUN, which is what finances SHOULD be about. This place gives me hope because it feels closer to what I hope the rest of the world will become as people start working together to prioritize long-term happiness over short-term profits. I love the art and the music!!! It felt unreal sitting with Sam to set up my account the following week, but I was sold on all of it before he even started to explain the unlimited coffee benefits and all the local savings! I am floored, honestly, because my standards were so low from having such terrible experiences at other banks and credit unions. I needed to find a bank that would allow me to travel, and they even have phone & roadside assistance... I was skeptical about all of the benefits, so I went to a local breakfast spot the next day and they honored a free $14 bogo meal with the Bazing app! Citizens State Bank takes financial management to a whole new level, which reminds my spirit that life really can be about genuine human connection and cherishing the moment. I realized that I couldn't focus on those things when I was fighting for my money or just decent respect from the people I work with.
