This is the best bank I've opened an account with! All so very respectful and generous. Kevin for sure is the best! He helped me when I was having troubles with the online bank. He took the time to step me through everything... Just outrageously respectful! :)

The staff at the branch in Altoona are amazing. They're always friendly, personable, knowledgeable and upbeat. Some of the wonderful staff I have dealt with are Kevin, PJ, Kasi, Ellie and Lori. Thank you all so much for such a positive experience in banking!

The crew at Citizens State Bank in Altoona is great. Originally they helped me refinance my mortgage when all the interest rates dropped. Despite all the banks being very busy, Citizens was able to help me out in a very timely fashion. I had a suck a good experience that I opened an account there. I enjoy going there. Katie & Citizens is amazing! This bank worked with us more than other banks would and gave us the "personal feel" that people want. Went in today to open a savings account for my son and had the most wonderful experience. Kevin & PJ got me all set up and almost everyone in the office came out and interacted with my son and I. Elise & Lori even played/entertained my son while we were getting things set up. I love how welcoming they were especially with my son. He got popcorn, stickers, coloring page, & so much attention. Bonus...mama even got a free iced coffee😁

I can’t say enough about the team at the Altoona Citizens State Bank branch!! You get all the same services of the big banks (online banking, app, etc) while working with a team of people that know you and your family on a first name basis. The Altoona branch staff is phenomenal and go above and behind to provide outstanding customer service. Lori, Katie and Melinda are always willing to help with a big smile on each of their faces! The most amazing people work here! I bring my two dogs into the bank to see everyone at least once a month and everyone greets us like were family! The dogs and I absolutely love it! Oh and they're also super helpful with all the financial jazz as well ;P
