Citizens Bank Fort St, Southgate

I am not happy with the Fort St location! We had an issue with my daughter's account, her app wasn't showing the correct information. We spoke with Carol Graham, who talked to us in a degrading manner after we explained to her what our issue was. She pulls up my daughter's account and says I can see the deposit was made. We said ok but it's not showing it on the app. She then says we've had trouble with the app lately but it has been corrected. Which we still couldn't see the deposit on the app. She then starts to question who I was?? Didn't matter as I was there with your customer, my daughter. This woman got a rude tone in her voice so we just walked out, as we could see we were not getting the help we needed.

Had a check sent to me through the FTC for wrong doing from a phone company years ago that charged illegal fees through a class action suit. The check issuer was through Citizens Bank for a whole 13 dollars. Since I didn't have an account they stated there would be a 7 dollar fee even when the check writer has an account with Citizens. Seems they have no principals except money for nothing .Many banks do not charge a fee if the check is written out of the banks account even if the receiver of the check has no account. Shame they represent themselves like this then try to explain it away in a comparative scenario. Was thinking about opening up an account with them, but legal theft example here just does not seem right and should not be a norm that should be accepted. So just because they can by law do it in Michigan should they bite that poison apple?

Honestly I came in today and was very upset mad and I didn’t understand why my account was being over drafted so much! I came the office and Caroline helped me out tremendously. I was almost in tears Sitting at her desk but she was so helpful and compassionate/ understanding it really eased my mind just talking to her. She was quick with help and advise on how to help myself. I really can’t ask for much more. Best branch I’ve been too and it’s all because of her genuine care and willing-ness to go the extra mile for me! Thank you !

Great bank. I use it regularly. Only concern is the ATM. Trying to pull out is dangerous because of traffic on fort and the sidewalk traffic.

10/10 Security. I love there service

Rush to get there before they close they move so slow I couldn’t get an additional transaction done because 4 PM hit. Pulled the blinds down before I can get a receipt at the drive-through window thanks ladies

Very professional from as soon as you walk in, to when you are leaving. Love the service and the atmosphere is so positive.

I have had constant problems at this bank. Absolutely horrible dealing with this place. Worst banking experience ever.

At least the 5th time in a year, I go there for the ATM to be shut down! No wonder people have moved to Credit Unions
