Zeal Credit Union Fort St, Southgate

ORIGINAL: 4/26/22 If you want to waste your time driving to a credit union that never has their ATM working, then this is the perfect place to come. UPDATE: 4/28/22 I have changed my review to a 5 star only because this place has an amazing Manager named Marie and she took time out of her day to personally contact me after seeing my original review. I honestly was in shock afterwards because of how good of a conversation it was. She truly cares about her members and will go above and beyond for them. I am so impressed. Zeal needs to thank their lucky stars having her!!

Worst credit union I have been a member of. You can never get anyone on the phone. Ive tried for months. Not to mention, their ATM is down at least once a week. No excuses. Ridiculous and frustrating. Closed my account and will never attend again. Beware

I wanted to give a shout out to one of the bank tellers, Myeisha. She gave excellent service and made my day today! She was very friendly. I switched to Zeal from a bank a few years ago and because of the service and tellers like Myeisha I feel like I could not have made a better choice!!

Great staff, friendly service. The only reason they are not getting 5 starts is for the past several weeks every time we have tried to use the ATM (due to our work schedules preventing us from visiting while the inside is open) the ATM is unavailable. We've accumulated ATM fees for having to use other banks ATMs that actually work. I hope this gets resolved soon or we will be looking for a new credit union.

Went in to open a checking/savings and it was very easy. Friendly staff (lady who helped me was sort of quiet, could have came off as not friendly though) and explained me the different savings/checking accounts. I opened a free checking account and she waved the 50$ fee for me? Which was nice! Thank you for an easy experience.

I love Zeal CU have my auto loan through them and it was a quick and easy process but it is near impossible to get anyone on the line when you have issues or questions. You wait on hold for almost a hour give up and decide to call again the next day and wait the same time or longer and I eventually give up and never call back. I don’t have enough time during the day if I’m working to wait and your closed when I get off work.

Hundreds of dollars worth of fraudulent activity on my account and it is near impossible to get anyone on the phone to resolve the issue. Usually people want answers rather quickly when something is stolen from them. I guess I will try calling tomorrow and wait on hold again.

Tried calling to talk to a person, gave up after waiting 41:25. Had to listen to "All representatives are assisting other members, your call is important to us, please remain on the line and your call will be answered in the order it was received" on loop every 60 seconds

Went in 3/17 my account had been accidentally overdrawn due to certain circumstances. the staff was very friendly after i explained my situation. Said that they would take the fine off and gave me a new card. the fine is back on the same afternoon. did not know until tonight. its ridiculous. Bank has still not returned my call.

Atm is always down to the point 711 is my bank
