Citizens Bank Union Sq, New York

I cannot begin to describe the horrible experience I encountered at HSBC bank in Union Square. A so-called banker Jenny Osiris...was rude and insensitive. She never greeted me and was stern in her approach to gather information. My Grandfather passed away so the the account had to be closed. Rather than treating me dignity and respect...She looked at the Death certificate suspiciously and demanded my ID be photocopied. Not once did she extend any condolences or try to find out the proper protocol for this type of issue. She kept telling me she didn't have the answers to any of my questions and repeatedly told me to go find out. I strongly urge any person who is considering this financial institution to reconsider. This is the culture of this institution not just one employee.

Friendly staff, but poor service. Everything seems to be twice as difficult and take twice as long as it should. Not clear if this is HSBC policy or poor management.

I got cash here once from the ATM!

Terrible experience. 28 min exactly to make a deposit, they have no idea what there doing and than passing me around to different teller. In the end they didn't even apologize they just thought its normal to take 28 mins to deposit cash in a persons account

Only one teller working when there is 6 people on line. Terrible customer service. This is a branch on E 16 and Kings Highway. Branch Manager was no where to be found.
