ATM took $600 out of my account after it said my card was invalid & transaction was cancelled. It still took the $ from my account. When I went into the branch I was greated by a man & explained my situation. He took my cards and ID & went to talk to "Lori" she refused to have the ATM maintenance do a bug check refused to get the security footage. After insinuating I was the only person who has a problem with the atm & then told me to call the cops. All I asked was what should I do about this. Now I'm facing not being able to pay my rent & credit cards. Called the main line and they assured me she was supposed to have the ATM checked & she would be disciplined

Incompetent and racist. I can't repeat what was said by the manager I believe . I'm white but what she was saying was about black ppl. I'll never set a foot in this branch again. With everything going on it's ppl like this

My mother and I opened up an account for her. They advised us there would be a $2 fee each month to which we said to the rep, " Please set it to paperless so we are not charged". The rep advised that I would have to set up an online account for my mom and click paperless, they could not do it for us. I went online, entered mom's acct number to which the site asked to verify myself by phone number. We had originally used mom's landline to sign up so I chose voice call so they could send me a verification code, ONLY THEY NEVER CALLED!! I tried again, they never called. I called customer service who told me my mother needed to speak for herself, though I had already explained there was a language barrier. I further explained that we had Seraphina take a copy of my mom's power of attorney form so that I could speak and do everything for her. The phone rep told me she did not see it, that it was never scanned into the system and they could not help me over the phone, that I will need to go into a branch. I tell them all I need to do is set the account to "Paperless". I was advised they couldn't help me. I went into the Stop & Shop branch and told them exactly what the phone rep told me, that I need to be present with my mom, have both our ID's and present to them the Power of Attorney form and have them do a C2C and they would help us to rectify the situation. The teller at the counter called into customer service, told them we were both there with ID's in hand and Power of Attorney form. Upon hearing Power of Attorney form, they absolutely freaked out!! I was told they had to get their lawyers involved and they would have to look into why the document hadn't been scanned into their system etc. I then said to the teller that this situation was getting extremely bizarre and to please just close out the account and we will go elsewhere for banking. The teller replied that they could not help us, that their attorney's would have to look into the matter and that we could not do anything with the account at the moment. In other words, they were freezing my mom's account and I was told to go to the original branch and speak to Seraphina who opened the account and have her correct the issue. Well that's just wonderful, since I live nearly an hour away, work 9-5 and can only be there on Saturday's and they close at 12. This whole experience has left me disgusted. ALL WE NEEDED TO DO WAS TO GO PAPERLESS SO WE WOULD NOT BE CHARGED $2 EVERY MONTH!!!! I cannot believe the frustration they have put us through with all of their dramatics. We are extremely disappointed.

Always greeted with a smile and warm professionalism from tellers. I've changed banks a few times do to terrible customer service. I will stay with this particular bank for the foreseeable future....

If you are a non member they charge you $7 to cash a check from a member of their own bank. And then they fingerprint you like you're a criminal. I have never been fingerprinted in my life I'm not going to start now at a bank.

Every time I have visited this branch the wait times are unacceptably long and always complicated by other customers that don’t prepare/ bring their ID or debit cards. It is always a huge wait and waste of time. Honestly I dread going here but it is the main branch and some transactions have to be done here. Again it is not one particular factor and probably not the staffs fault as they are over worked/over run but I would recommend doing everything you can online and avoiding this branch.

I have never dealt with such rude managers at a bank in my life, I paid a contractor with a check from my bank (USAA) and they placed a 10 day hold on it because they "couldn't verify funds" even though the money was taken out of my USAA account 5 days ago. I offered to call USAA for them or have them call, and bring me in to verify information. She was not willing to contact USAA because she didn't want to deal with being on hold, and when shown my bank statement verifying the funds were removed from my account, she asked how she knew it wasn't fake... do yourself a favor and deal with Bristol County Savings Bank, and support local business, you won't be disappointed

Teller didn't want to do her job, refused to deposit a check. Told us to use the ATM next time.

ATM’s are always down No matter what inside or drive thru what a inconvenience this bank always is will define changing to a credit union once I empty my accounts.

Twice I went to go deposit money for a specific reason I needed to deposit and I got there right at 430 sense I work in the cape and twice they was closed 30 mins earlier that’s ridiculous if you have a time on the internet for closing then close at that time not 30 mins earlier some people work and can’t make it to the bank in time
