Recently, I visited your bank to obtain some paperwork. I was attended with the utmost professional attitude, patience and perfection. Mrs. Yanelsa A Bautista-buck made sure that all my requests were resolved. She made me feel really very comfortable and took care of everything I needed since I had to travel from Philadelphia, PA. I can only say she deserves a raise, she really exceeded my expectations. She went above and beyond, overall providing excellent customer service. I noticed as well as, she acknowledged every customer by name and helped everyone. She is an excellent asset to your institution. I had a wonderful experience at this bank, great job.

I want to say that I do not have a problem with any employee that works in this branch. My problem is the hours that the branch is open. I have accounts in a few other banks and the hours start at 8AM and most days end at 7PM. This is the only bank that doesn't have any hours that fit into a working persons schedule. Opening at 9 means that you cannot go in before work and closing at 4 and 5PM means you cannot get there after work. I strongly believe that they should adjust their hours to include at least some that can fit into working peoples schedules other than a Saturday.

I had just arrived from out of State and needed a Citibank branch in New Jersey for a cashiers check. I contacted Branch Manager Michael O Odumbo for assistance and he was extremely helpful. He immediately provided me with a few locations in New Jersey, but this location happened to be the closest. A short time later I met with Mr. Odumbo who assisted me with my request. I thank Mr. Odumbo and the teller who assisted for their pleasant service. Great service also need recognition.

No dedicated business window, long wait every time you walk in, and tellers seem to be running from this place. Just another example of a big bank mentality that only cares about the bottle line.

The Citibank East Brunswick, NJ branch closed couple of years ago, so the closest is the 5810 Amboy Road, Staten Island branch. I needed some work, so I was there today March 21, 2019. I met Yanelsa Buck the personal banker who helped me clear up some paperwork that needed to be done. The manager also met me and was extremely nice and extremely helpful. Yanelsa also let me know about the home equity loans that carry no fees and other products that do not have any annual fees with bonuses. Yanelsa provided me her Citibank direct phone number for future use.

I lost my card and had to call in to replace it. It was the day before Christmas Eve and I didn’t have any cash on me with three kids as a single mother. I asked the representative in customer service how can I get cash from my account since the card would take 7-10 days, she said I could just go to the bank branch with my ID. I’ve been to this branch on three occasions and on all three occasions the same thing has happened, they refused to give me access to withdraw funds and asked me to step to the side with absolutely no explanation. The manager there is very clever, he had the audacity to pull me to the side with no explanation as to why I could not withdraw from my account, and then have me sit there for over an hour. To make it even worse this unprofessional gentleman had the audacity to try to have a meeting with a colleague while telling me to wait until he is finished. This is a very discriminatory bank branch and they do not trust anybody that is African-American or colored to go in there. You are held on suspicion immediately on the simple fact of the color of your skin, no other facts. I was able to withdraw funds from my account after one hour and 56 minutes. Thankfully I retained a consumer attorney to guide me through the process of filing a complaint with the office of civil rights. I am very disappointed in this bank branch.

I had great experience in that particular location, I drove from New Jersey because it was the closest brunch to us. I would love to say that Yanelsa Buck helped us tremendously with the issue we have. She was very professional, great attitude and the respect. Highly recommended for your private banking.

Was personally taken care of by a branch manager when I had a minor problem. My bank fee was waived and the documents delivery expedited. I have been a client at this Branch for many years, and the staff has consistently delivered the great service and professional attitude throughout. Thank you, guys. Be safe!

Well, for sure, this branch of Citibank is NOT one of the more "well run" branches in the CitiBank chain. Picture this: Summer afternoon during the week, ONE teller in the entire bank, ALL cubicles EMPTY, no one around, standing like a statue waiting for SOMEONE to assist me with my needs for that day. After a period of time, a man approaches from the back room and asks if I'm being helped. Really? By whom, the invisible man? There's no one in the bank except the lonely teller! When I finally state my business, I'm politely informed that the person who can help me is on VACATION, come back next week! Sure, I have time-sensitive materials to be taken care of and I'll just come back NEXT WEEK at the bank employee's convenience! I think NOT! Solution: went down the block to TD bank on Huguenot Avenue and got taken care of PRONTO. And unlike Citibank (that gives the entire staff off the same week), TD bank had THREE tellers and sufficient staff sitting at their desks for "other" business. As an aside, other difficulties encountered with this branch (perhaps Citibank in general), the EXORBITANT cost for a Safe Deposit Box, employees discussing business with you and saying they will call you back and NEVER DO! If you call them, you get voicemail, leave messages and NEVER get a return phone call. It's amazing that Citibank Corporate doesn't look into the functionality of their branches and evaluate their performance. For sure, this branch would be rated "needs improvement!" By the way, the parking lot for this branch was designed by someone playing a cruel joke on drivers. It ranks among the worst design imaginable with only ONE entrance and exit and parking slots that go in three different directions, it is a miracle if you don't bang into or get banged into by another driver not paying STRICT attention to their surroundings. Summation: Go to the branch at your own risk (of wasting your precious time) and park, at your own PERIL!
