Craig and his team were amazing! I can't say enough good things about my experience with the team at Churchill Mortgage. From start to finish the help I received to navigate the loan process was perfect. Each team member seemed to have a specific job, and they were pleasant and knowledgable. I never felt like a minute of my time was wasted. The team worked like a well oiled machine and processed my loan in record time.

If Christopher Dwyer is the Home loan Specialist for your home mortgage or home refinance, then RUN. He overpromised & underdelivered and acted as if he was acting transparently. I point blank asked if we were locked in at the interest rate he told us about, Chris confirmed that we were locked in. When we received our loan estimate I noticed that there were loan points included in fees and since the beginning I explicitly said that we would not pay points on the loan. I asked multiple questions that were ignored and never followed through on for weeks. We have pristine credit scores and no debt besides our home mortgage. I went ahead in good faith and paid for the appraisal, even when the equity in our home was so high and we should have been able to defer the appraisal requirement. The last straw was when I requested an updated loan estimate to feel comfortable with proceeding and instead Chris told us that we were not close to closing AFTER 3 MONTHS OF BACK AND FORTH. At that point, I decided to use Dave Ramsey's logic to payoff our mortgage and stop wasting my time and effort in the refinance with Churchill Mortgage and Christopher Dwyer. Worst refinance experience ever.

A couple of years ago, he was honest with us and patiently explained why we'd be better off staying with our credit union while we rebuilt our credit. So honest and patient, we came back. This is the second time we have gone with Churchill Mortgage and would highly recommend their team. Kraig wants to find out our financial goals and then makes recommendations based on the long term effects of various scenarios. The online comparison tool he uses was informative and allows us to make knowledge based decisions. This time we included our kids in the process so they could see the difference interest rates can make and why a 15 yr or 20 yr mortgage is something worth considering.

Churchill was an amazing experience. They spent a lot of time with us explaining the process, keeping us informed on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis on where we were at in the process, and providing the ability to sign documents online was FANTASTIC.
