I am a real estate agent in the Richmond, VA area and have known and worked with Chris Parks for 10 years. He is truly one of the best! He always takes great care of our mutual clients - is so responsive to requests, keeps on top of all of the details. His support staff is also wonderful. On top of his great customer service, Chris has saved buyer clients of mine literally thousands of dollars over what another lender was going to charge them in fees. We had the pleasure of working with Chris over the course of the past several months. As everyone knows, the current housing market is extremely difficult and unpredictable. Chris Parks and his team were absolutely AMAZING!! Amanda was my loan officer and they couldn't have made things easier. For a first time homebuyer you have 1000 questions and concerns pop into your head. They answered EVERY SINGLE ONE! Amanda was patient and understanding while I got all my paperwork back. She was never out of touch if I needed clarification on anything. Did I mention I closed in less than a month in this market!? Honestly you could go to a big bank but I promise you won't get the same experience and they had the best rate on top of all of that. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Chris Parks and his team highly enough. Before settling in Richmond, I had to move many times due to my service in the Marine Corps and so I have had a number of mortgage brokers around the country. Chris and his team are by far, hands down, the best. In fact, Chris is the only mortgage broker I recommend to my friends and family in Richmond. To all potential buyers and refinancers, we do not conduct reviews very often but we would be doing you a great disservice by not sharing our home buying experience with Chris Parks, McLean Mortgage. We have purchased and sold with other mortgage brokers in the past but Chris by far has exceeded all our expectations and made our home buying experience enjoyable, the way it should be! This was our second time working with Chris and we successfully closed on our home June 8th. A few things that stand out while working with Chris is his breadth of knowledge with the mortgage process, ability to effectively speak to all our questions/concerns and timely follow-through. When we started working with Chris last year in preparation of financing our new build, he prepared us for where the interest rates could potentially be several months out for when the home would be completed 2nd quarter 2022. Although rates went berserk the beginning of the year, due to Chris preparing a conservative estimation (worst-case-scenario), we were not shocked or sidetracked when it was time for us to lock in the rate.
