Chocolate Bayou Credit Union North Hwy 35 Byp, Alvin

I have been banking at this Credit Union for thirty four years and have always been satisfied with the customer service, loan rates and online banking, however they changed the online banking feature and took away many of the conveniences that were offered before making it much more difficult to do transactions between my business and personal account. The response from their technical officer is that "it must be my computer". To change the system and then blame the customer for internal system problems is less than professional and blame shifting for a poor transition to a new system. I will be banking elsewhere in the future!

Mrs. Patti is always such a sweetheart. She always has a smile on her face & is personable & genuine when we come inside. She really cares about the customers. We just love her ❤. Thank you Mrs. Patti for always welcoming us & asking how our family is; you truly are amazing at what you do.

Ms. Patti has been an icon at the Alvin branch for many years, and definitely an asset. She has a genuine smile, and always available to assist in customer service. The clerks at the counter are great, but Ms. Patti is the reason I would rather do walk in, instead of your convenient drive through service.

Every time I go into Chocolate Bayou Credit Union, I am greeted by Patti. She is always so sweet and always has a smile on her face and always asks me how I am doing. Everyone is so professional and I feel at home in this Credit Union. I have been banking here for at least 18 years and have never had any complaints.

The staff is always welcoming and friendly! I would like to see the mobile app updated. It is extremely behind the rest of the banking apps. Being that most people use online these days It would be a great benefit to CBCFCU to invest some money to update the mobile banking app.

The first person I see is Patty, she loves her job and it really shows, always so pleasant and fashionable. I've always had an excellent experience with tellers and loan officers taking care of my needs in a professional and timely manner. Today Luisa Rodriguez was my loan officer and she did an expert job even convinced me to move my current auto loan to Chocolate Bayou saving me money on my current interest rate. Overall great experience today!

Most recently things have been awesome ! I have been treated with respect and shown courtesy by an employee that took the time to take her time ! She made sure to maintain my privacy by closing the door when I was on speaker phone and that gesture alone made me want to stand up and salute this woman ! That privacy issue had been trampled upon at a different date and I was not amused ! The first person you see or speak to usually is Patti and since she has been employed there it is like a breath of fresh air upon entering the facility !! She is awesome ! She is professional, pleasant, eager to help, and she is genuine ! You can rest assured that if she asks you how you are doing and or how one of your family members are doing you can know that she asked because SHE TRULY CARES ! She listens and pays attention ! She is truly a dedicated employee !!! She is a “home” girl and everyone knows her and her family and knows also how dedicated she is to family, as well as to her friends and her “work” family. She always has a smile and takes the time to make sure your reason for the visit is taken care of in a timely manner and keeps you abreast of your wait time . Patti exudes the type of receptionist skills and attitude that any employer would or at least should walk through the desert in order to give her a position in their workforce !

I just recently opened an account and am looking forward to making them my primary bank. The staff is always kind and very accurate. Especially Mrs. Luisa Rodriguez and Mrs. Patti as well for going the extra mile to setting me up as well as before I was a member giving my mom stickers for my daughter just out of the kindness of her heart. And Mrs. Luisa put my mind at ease I. Regards to all my account questions. This is an ok place to use for small banking. This is NOT the place to use for Business Banking. This is NOT the place to use for loans. This is NOT the place to use for reliable services. If you venture OUTSIDE of Alvin Texas, you will find that there is a banking world full of MUCH BETTER opportunities. This a very frustrating bank to use. The best part about this bank was Patti, the greeter. This bank scams its members and runs shady loan practices. I have banked with them for over 15 years and I constantly regret it. I have held a cc with them and for longevity purposes, chose to keep it open. I have decided to cut my losses and lose the headache. If your goal in life is to slowly fade away in Alvin Texas, then, this is the bank for you. If you plan on going places in life with your business, I would suggest looking elsewhere. They treat you as if they are constantly doing you a favor by existing. when really, they're more of headache than they are worth their weight in gold. They make transaction incredibly difficult. This is an ugly place to do business and they will treat you just like a number. Not a member. The business development of this bank is similar to the business development of Alvin Texas. Your money interest rate will grow at the same rate of growth as the city of Alvin. One gas station and one chilis every 20 years...

Receptionist Patti is wonderful! She always has a smile and greets you by name. That means a lot in this age of technology. We have always had great experiences dealing with Chocolate Bayou, including Gayleen, Rachel J., Tiffany and the cashier staff. Everyone there does a fantastic job!

Well, to begin with, Chocolate is incredibly convenient! Also, the staff is always pleasant and helpful. (Even when I forget my account number!) With the exception of how they do their antique car loans, they have met all of my needs. A great place to "bank!"

CBCU is the best. Patti is the most pleasant person, she knows everyone's name, she treats you like family. They take good care of me.

I do most of my banking online or through the drive-thru however, when I do get to or need to go into the Alvin Branch it is always a pleasure to be greeted by Patti with her warm smile and genuine desire to help and make you feel welcome. She is a true asset to the Credit Union.

I have been a member of Chocolate Bayou Credit Union for approximately 35yrs. We have been very pleased with the customer service with all the employees and of course saving money be it with low interest loans or interest on our savings. But the best thing and our favorite thing about the credit union is Patti, that happy and sweet smile that meets me every time I walk into the bank. Southern charm and friendliness. The staff at Chocolate Bayou Credit Union are wonderful. They always go above and beyond to help their customers. They are so friendly and make you feel like one big family. Patti is amazing always greeting you with a smile and willing to help you with any question.

Staff was professional, helpful, and extremely efficient when I went to open a savings account and apply for a credit card. Especially Patti, she had the best attitude and maintained a high level of professionalism when she was giving me direction and information. She is probably the sweetest lady I have ever met, give that woman a raise!

When you first walk in, there is Patti with a smile and greeting. She seems to know everyone's name! The loan officers are friendly and very helpful. The only reason I didn't give five stars, because almost everytime I come in there are new tellers. They don't seem to stay very long. Other then this, I trust them with my business

Mrs Patty is very friendly and greets you as soon as you walk in the door. All the teller are very nice too. I been a member now for about 25 years and never had a problem with anyone or any issues with the bank. So I very satisfied with them.

What can I say, you always leave with a smile. Patti is the kindest most thoughtful person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She always asks about the entire family and the grand kids. I absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing. I've had several bad experiences with banks throughout my life. But once I switched to this credit union, not one bad experience. My account has been hacked before and had 0 issues resolving it as opposed the the same thing happening at the banks I use to bank at. I have never been treated bad here. Truly an amazing place. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

There is a sweet beautiful lady at the front entrance of the Alvin Branch who address everyone coming and exiting the bank by name. This makes me feel important and the bank like our business. You might ask who am I talking about? Her name is Patty it is a pleasure to see her and sometimes I make a point to stop by the bank to see how she is doing.
