I pawned one of my prized possessions here in a time of desperation. The older employee that helped me was extremely rude accusing my item of being fake before even looking up the serial number or anything on it. I was then offered less than a fraction of what my possession was worth but I had no other option. I came back in to pay the fees on it and get an extension..I thought it went well until a month and a week later I find out I was given the wrong information on how long I had to get it and it was put out and sold with no warning. I also believe it was sold for far less than it's value because the rude man who helped me the first time did not understand it's value even tho one simple google search would show...that item alone could have paid my rent for 3 months.

I have had multiple dealings with Don and Sam, and can say I was only disappointed once on a transaction so I went and thought about it and stopped back in and Sam was willing to sell back my item and that alone satisfied me, after all they are sitting on stuff that's not always guaranteed to sell quickly. I recommend shopping at the Chetco Trader pawnshop, fair prices, great variety of merchandise and kind owners.

My experience was many years ago, so possibly under different management now. I went to sell a guitar and was offered $50, I went back the next day and I guess they could tell I was desperate for the cash because suddenly the offer was $25. I asked what happened to $50, he snarkly said "that was yesterday". Later found out they put my guitar up for sale for $200. I really hope the new management would honor a fair quote less than 24 hours old, I got ripped off.

I recently bought a new gun from here, he gave me an excellent deal and provided wonderful service. When I went to go test it out it had a problem, I took it in to him and he took it home to personally examine it to make sure everything was working properly. He called me the next day to say it was a default and is sending it in to get the problem resolved. I am very pleased with the customer service and help he has given me. I’m thankful I now have a place to go for all my gun needs. You guys have a customer for life! Sincerely, a very happy customer.

They seem to be a solid group of individuals that are patient and friendly towards their customers. The few bad reviews I see are mostly about people thinking they should get more value for their items which honestly I’m not sure if that’s a valid complaint given the nature of the business.

I don't know how they are getting good reviews, must be faked. Terrible service. I went in to purchase a 9mm and trade in 1oz of gold and the guy was very dismissive of me. I could barely get him to help me or answer my questions. He walked away from me so I left and took my business elsewhere.

Went in interested in getting a gun - friendly staff (Don) helped me to find the perfect gun for me . He was very informative and knowledgeable. J would encourage anyone looking for a firearm to go in to that facility. Great pricing as well .

Trader staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about firearms. Fun place to go just to browse and learn. I've purchased and sold firearms here. Largest selection in town.

I have had two great experiences at this shop! The staff work hard to find what I'm looking for, pulling inventory from storage and offering deals that can't be beat. Thanks so much!
