Chase Bank Reviews

07/01/22 opened an account for my llc here. Three days ago I wrote an email with a request to send plastic to the address of another branch. Mr. Christian Fuentes did not reply to my email. I wrote a text on his phone that was in his business card. In response, too, silence and silence. It would seem what nonsense, a trifle, a trifle... But questions arise: did I entrust my money to those guys? And why did Mr. Christian Fuentes give me his business card? Just to give me more unnecessary paper instead of my dollars??

During the virus, my usual Chase bank has very long lines, so I decided to try this branch. My usual Chase outlet has very friendly staff. This Los Feliz branch is always dark and empty. Now I know why. I tried to simply deposit a check from a client and the teller refused to accept it, saying the person had written in the amount wrong. She would not budge so I asked for the manager, who turned out to be an unfriendly middle aged blonde lady, who came out to immediately reject the check and said Chase won't accept it and the clients' B of A account wouldn't clear it either. I left and we got the client to re-write the check. I went back in and the check was rejected again. That was enough for me. I went to my regular bank, where the check was accepted with no questions at all. Will never return to this bank again, they are stoppers.

I've observed some behaviors I've found fairly troubling. One incident that bothered me most consisted of a woman employee who handled another customer's banking information without any sense of discretion. I overheard this staff member tell the client his account was overdrawn by three-hundred dollars. Something about the fact that I know that level of detail about another client's account and particularly about a sensitive matter strikes me as remarkably off. This client was Hispanic. It left me upset to wonder if that was a factor behind the appalling way the staff member treated him.

This branch shares the parking lot with Messhall so depending on the valet your experience can be a quick one. They do have tellers here which is awesome. The loan lady here is a piece of work so I wouldn't recommend it for that but the guy teller there is super cute and super nice best of all no lines!~

If you go in early evening no one is in bank which is cool. Just ignore messhall valet bros. they have to share the lot and you are banking. This location used to be the famous "Derby" bar because it is shaped like a derby hat.

This branch is hands down one of the best ones of Chase. My spouse and I had a few things to take care of, including getting a bunch of notary services. Alex (from private banking) was incredibly kind, patient and accommodating. As well as the rest of the staff. TY!! Makes us proud to be Chase customers.
B
Contrary to another review, there are NO notary services at this branch.

Always a quick in and out and very friendly service. I do not understand the negative reviews as the staff is always friendly and I have seen the manager in action and she is out of her office immediately if the line is more than three people and opens a window herself and takes deposits until the line is gone. I really wish the other Chase branches would follow suit...the lines at those locations are RIDICULOUS. If it wasnt for this branch I would leave Chase behind.

A couple of the personal bankers here are not worth coming back to. My husband and I got the runaround when it came time to open and close our accounts after we got married. It took us returning to the branch multiple times because accounts had not been closed or opened when we asked. When I asked for checks the banker said I can go online... She couldn't just order me checks then and there??

Always perfect service, friendly employees and no long lines! Also the chase bank offers free coffee for customers and coffee is always available at the branch!
