Chase Bank N Walnut St, Wooster

I signed up online for a Chase checking account. Didn't have all the information I needed, so I went into the local branch. Surprise! Someone sitting at their desk, a very nice lady, waved me over, took the initiative, and was very kind to me. She helped me understand my account and helped me with a large deposit. You generally don't get people in banks who go out of their way. I really appreciated the personal touch.

Update: the only Chase bank within 30 miles yet the ATM is frequently closed. Chase’s total neglect for this entire region is pathetic. Open the branch lobby…inexplicably closed. Would echo other reviewers in saying it’s odd they kept this branch open; a major bank like this having only one branch in a town this large is very annoying as a customer.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Total POS bank. Location is inconvenient, never answer their phones, the facility itself resembles a run-down trap house and their customer service is poor. I don't understand why Chase, with two locations open, chose to close down the nicer location that was in a great spot in town and didn't have a POS parking lot. Hate it.

This location has been far best of any other I have went to, including out of town! They are quick to solve problems, answer questions, and generally best staff. They are all so nice and willing to take time to explain everything to you. Had other banks in the past but not switching from Chase Bank and that os for sure!

So far so good.. I got the $200 reward for opening a new account and having my check direct deposited.. I've never been more impressed with a bank in life. They were so awesome when I signed up, they answer all my stupid questions. Love it!

called this bank 47 times this week and they do not answer their phones. Managers are not available for banking unless you make an appointment which you have to do online bc they do not answer phones. When you go into schedule an appointment, they will offer an available time, and if it doesn’t fit in your schedule they won’t offer another available time until you tell them specifically why you can’t come on that day. Bank tellers are extremely rude. Managers were just absent. I stood at the counter with no line for ten minutes before being acknowledged .

This branch was very helpful, quick and thorough. Couldn't have asked for better service and assistance. Thank you so much!!

Customer service is severely lacking. Night deposit was out of order, so I was inconvenienced by having to go inside the bank. After going in, I was passed by 2 or 3 employees, none of which offered to assist me. Then I was further inconvenienced by them telling that I have to stay. I had wait 5 to 10 minutes. Then one of the employees there called my work to tell them that I was being rude. I was off the clock and they had ZERO right to attempt to get me in some sort of trouble. I'm not even a customer of theirs and I NEVER will be. All because they were inconveniencing me. This was on you chase bank.

I've used Chase for many years and never had any problems that they didn't resolve immediately and to my benefit. In fact, a few years back they had a promotion where they'd pick somebody's card number and pay off their purchases for that day. Well, I'd only gone to Buehler's and spent about $35 on groceries, but they paid it and that was a nice extra $35 or so dollars.

I will be closing my account and going else where! U would think having a checking account you could deposit a live check and not have any problems but I have done everything I can and they still put a hold on my paycheck until Tuesday! Been with this bank for 2 yrs!
