Chase Bank Tavern Rd, Alpine

I lost my dad in to cancer and had to take over the finances and all of the stuff that most ppl don't want to deal with and had to go into Chase where he had an account. The employee's there were the most compassionate helpful ppl. While I sat at the desk teary-eyed and scared they helped me to feel safe and listened to everything that poured out of my mouth. It was incredible customer service and this type of service happened every time I came in after that. Not sure why these other reviewers were so upset or what they experienced but you also have to take into account their attitudes toward the tellers. 😶

Beware, New Law EMV Cards- We have been using Chase Paymentech for 2 years. CHECK YOUR STATMENT! IF YOU RUN PIN BASED DEBITS WITH THE EMV CARD(CHIP CARD), YOU ARE NOW BEING CHARGED 4 TIMES THE NORMAL AMOUNT. These cards are being processed at a signature debit rate and not the .05% rate plus .25. They do not require the customer to enter a pin even with debit selected on your payment device. I have been dealing with Chase for 6 days regarding this issue and they claim they will have a fix in place next year. Our merchant fee's have increased five times the normal amount.

Always kind and ready to assist with any issues. I’ve been going to this bank since it first opened and have never had an unpleasant experience.

I went into this Chase Bank in Alpine CA to break a 100 dollar bill. I needed some 20 dollar bills for Christmas gifts. The teller would not give me any service since I did not have an account there. I had to go to a gas station to get my 20 dollar bills. I got better service at a gas station.I dont have an account there, but somehow their customer service is much better. I find Chase Banks community spirit not only disheartening but irresponsible. I personally give them a rating of zero. If Chase Bank is going to move into a nice small tightly knit community like this, they had better learn to serve others instead of just serving themselves...

I'm a huge fan of the cudtomer service of Jp Morgan chase. But this branch is pretty aweful. The ladies are old and seem cranky. I figured it was that one day but it wasn't. .... they act as if their ..... don't smell and act stuck up...

Website said open at 9am, waiting in parking lot for 90 minutes just to walk up to the door and see a sign saying closed to public. Soooo NOT HAPPY.
