Chase Bank Reviews

Most unprofessional bank I have ever been to. Today, 7/8/22 is a payday Friday. Bank opens at 9am. Went to open a new account at 9:20am, and the bank is still not opened with a line out the door, literally. I will go elsewhere, and I would not recommend banking with Chase at all. Imagine these people in charge of your money!

The worse chace bank when it comes to service. All thr cashier employees are very nice and hard working however the managment should add more employees to help elders since they are not good with ATM machines. Shame they have blocked all the cashiers post with ATMs and have 2 only people trying to help endless line that don't know how to use them. Shame to the managmnet.

Truly disgraceful customer service. I had a very simple transaction of exchanging small bills for larger ones. My teller had a real attitude problem. Was talking to me like i was stupid or something. The tone was condescending.

I've been using this bank for almost 10 years. The customer service is great. It's the machines replacing the teller windows that drops this 3 stars. The lines are ridiculous because of those machines. They had so many other places to put the machines. But they literally put them directly in front of 3 teller windows. Out of 5 teller windows, 2 are usable. Poor decision with designs. Not only did you elimate jobs, but you caused longer wait times. Wait times are getting worse!

Services are fine, not long line wait and fast service. *beggars open the ATM door and ask for money on your way out after hours. I'll give them a buck every few times I go for opening the door but if this makes you uncomfortable maybe don't go here (or nyc in general tbh)*

Horrible!! First time I've ever been to a Chase branch and couldn't get in to use the ATM because they turn off the card reader that opens the door at 10pm. The security guard was sitting in his car and had to come out the car to tell me that it was turned off because he saw me trying to get in.

I wouldn’t recommend. I came in two days ago to pay off my account she told me I can come back Wednesday to open a new one. I came back and everyone was booked up. I was told i have to make an appointment which i wasn’t told two days ago. Then they proceeded to tell me to go online to make it. I went to the branch on Steinway they too were booked BUT the wonderful woman took 2 minutes of her time to book me an appointment for Friday.

Been coming for 3 consecutive days trying to sit with someone for a minute. Have a small question about my business account (really small as the other Chase branch I visited was able to help me in less than 30 seconds and I did not even sit down with a teller in their cubicle). Every day, all tellers are “booked for the day” and very busy. Every time I come, at least 2 out of 4 tellers do literally nothing. I politely asked if someone can help me with a small question I have, they start hiding. I go to the teller myself and ask if she can help me real quick since she is doing nothing, she doesn’t hear me well and says “Whaaat?”. White chubby lazy looking condescending lady. This branch used to be solid. I will not be going there anymore. Next time they call to ask me to invest my money in their investment accounts I will ask to speak with a manager and tell him about my story, and share the name of the teller who was disrespectful last time around. Other than this specific branch and the lazy half-asleep tellers, I love Chase. Not going back to this branch though.

Chase is mehh, this location is mehh-to-poor. It's annoying because it's the only chase location within easy walking distance of this part of Astoria, and every single day after they close for the night at 6pm there is a homeless man that hangs out inside the ATM section asking for money. I get it...we live in NY and homeless people need money. But this location is aware that this has been going on daily for years and they should be doing something about it. It's uncomfortable to be handling cash when someone is lurking behind you asking for it. And for that reason I switched banks.

Mean blond hair white lady with glasses who doesn't know anything about chase bank. She told me to use something else other than Chase. All the good workers stopped working after pandemic?
