Chase Bank N Broadway Ave, Salem

It's a great place to bank, the people are super nice and friendly. If anything, the ATM needs replaced. It looks like its from the 1970s.

Was treated like dirt at this branch by Antoinette. My transactions were being taking care of by other tellers, they asked her a simple question and she interjected herself into the situation, asked superior and drunk on some sort of sad power trip, refused to cash or deposit a local payroll check that was written on THEIR bank. She then said "why does she even have a paper check, they have direct deposit!" Like I forged it or something. (When changing your account for direct deposit, you will receive a paper check for the first pay after). I couldn't believe the failure to understand English or logic from this branch. She refused service to me, citing company policy. Oh really? So why is it that when I went directly to a different branch, the was zero problem? They were lovely, helpful and gracious.

Bank is great. ATM is horrible! Never works, when it does work, it's 3 times slower than any other atm in the area. It's old and needs replaced!!!

It's a good place for banking but... it's almost impossible most of the time to call the Salem branch they are always too busy to get to the phone "call again later"!! So far its been 3 hours ive been "trying&3 again later' i need an answer now!! Preferably before they close!

This is the only bank that I've ever liked using. They have ATMs everywhere. They offer nice incentives for opening accounts... I got $300 for opening an account with direct deposit.
