Chase Auto Finance Frye Rd, Fort Worth

Avoid Chase like the plague. They are awful. I sent in a check to pay off my dad's car after he died, and almost three weeks later they haven't cashed it. They received it, but apparently flagged it as "Needs research"! No one has called me, when I call I cannot speak to anyone who can tell me what the problem is. They say I can stop payment on the check I mailed in and TRY TO pay it at a branch. The closest one to me is 79 miles away in another state. So I could well drive all that way, write them a check, be told they can't accept it, and then have to figure out another way to pay them. And yes, I called the branch and have been told they MIGHT be able to accept it. Every other check I have written for my dad's finances has cleared, including the one to the IRS that I sent in after mailing the payment to Chase. If it weren't for it potentially messing up my own finances, I'd say "*** it" and close out the account. They clearly don't need the money that bad.

Absolutely agree with everyone else leaving reviews. I sold my Tesla that was financed with Chase, the buyers bank sent the pay off check overnight to Chase, it has been a week and Chase cannot tell me anything about it despite giving them the check number, tracking number and who received and accepted the check. It has been escalated twice and they say it will be two weeks before it can be looked at or maybe processed by then. I have called multiple times and the buyer has a loan now and no vehicle. I cannot move forward with my new car purchase because this debt has be cleared first before my bank issues me a loan. This has been the most frustrating experience. It doesn't help that each time you call, you're on hold for 30 minutes - 1 hour.

Seriously done with chase. PLEASE LISTEN.. DO NOT FINANCE YOUR CAR WITH CHASE !! I am currently refinancing and my other lenders sent chase a check on the 9th and they received it on 14th and I have the tracking number and everything proofing & stating that they received and signed for that check. Tell me why it’s been over 2 weeks and the check never processed through!!! My lenders tell me it takes 5-10 days for a check to clear and it still hasn’t. I’m back n forth with chase telling me that they need a copy of the check and tracking number so I give them that information and still nothing. They have the check but are asking for proof of the check ?!?! Makes no sense to me!!!! I can chase basically everyday now for an update. I just want to move along and forget about this company but they won’t let me do that.. very very frustrating

They lost the payoff check, have proof they received it. This has caused so much frustration, many needless phone calls and emails and faxes, all unnecessary. AWEFUL!!!! Still debiting payments from my bank account for payments...even though they have....AND HAVE HAD the payoff check for over 4 weeks!!!! Still no payoff is being posted, even though i have proof they received it AND have a copy of the payoff check from the dealer. BE CAREFUL to not blame the dealership for not sending the payoff...if its going to Chase, they probably have sent it already, but either they lost it or just don't want to post it. NEVER, EVER, going to finance with them again & will close my Chase bank account & Chase credit cards......but, sadly...they don't even care about losing good customers who have been with them for many many years. Obviously, from all these sad 1 star reviews.. who don't want to even give you one star but must in order to be able to leave a review...its crystal clear you guys drop the ball constantly. Do better Chase! Care a little bit...care about your customers as much as you do your corporate bonus checks. How are you even getting those with this sorry service anyway?

I rate Chase below zero , My daughter paid off her leased car, and they can't send out a new registration, this has been on going, and now into week 4. It has been one excuse after the other. No car, but Chase has the money. I suggest that no one leases or has dealings with Chase

Do not ever finance a vehicle through Chase. They have system issues, charge ridiculous fees because of it, and to make matters worse send bogus negative data to the credit bureaus. I have been going back and forth with them for months to get resolution. Very frustrating.

Hands down the worst institution I've ever dealt with. Switched my car from a lease to finance in 2019. 2 years later they still haven't sent me the title to my car. Called them multiple times a week for over a month with no resolution or answers to my problem. Everyone should leave a review with BBB on them so these problems can be addressed

Absolute nightmare. I switched bank accounts for my auto pay, and they had a glitch in their website where they were not letting my new bank account to be debited. I called about 20 times over 4 months to get the issue fixed. I was at the point where I wanted to start billing them for my administrative hours. I finally got it to accept payment with my new account, only to find that they billed my old account with insufficient funds. They then reported me as a late payment when I have 4 months left on my 4-year loan. Dropped my credit rating from 800 to 675 overnight. I was about to finance a new car for my business and now I have to wait until I can get this issue resolved. If anybody knows a good attorney send me a message through Google.

My experience with Chase Auto finance has been absolutely horrible. I paid off my vehicle 6 weeks ago and I still don't have my title. I went to a local branch and gave them the odometer reading statement that was requested. The person took the form and had no issues with anything that it was on it, but once it got to Chase they said that the VIN number looked like it had been erased and so it was not accepted. If there was a problem with that form the person at the local branch should have mentioned it. I sent in another odometer statement, and that one was not accepted, even though there was nothing wrong with it at all. So I sent in yet a third statement and called to see if it had been accepted - the person I spoke to said that it was accepted, that they were going to put a rush on it and that I should have my title soon. I called a week later and was told that the statement had not been accepted until nearly a week after I was told it had been. And that it is still going to take 7 to 10 business days for me to receive the title. Again, they have had my money for 6 weeks, and I still don't have a title.

Reading the reviews i see things haven't changed since 2018 when i had a loan with Chase. Back then it took me weeks and endless phone calls to get my check after my new car was totaled. I was looking on chase website to get a car loan. But i figured i'll checked the reviews. Im happy i did. It was terrible back then, and looks like it still is. Don't CHASE my friends.

I have sent a payoff to chase over 30 business days ago, over an actual month and they “cannot find” the check yet they cashed it over 25 business days ago. I was told it would be resolved no later than May 26th, now it’s may 28th and their new response is they are still trying to find it and will update me by June 9th. It is unacceptable to not where your money is yet alone take this long to post a payment to your account that has been cashed! I would not recommend Chase auto loans if you can avoid them, do so. The customer service regarding this has been slow, poor, and hardly responsive other than when I request an update online.

Not one to write reviews but this deserves it. It took 12 phone calls to obtain 2 documents for my vehicle. I do not recommend using chase auto for loan or lease purposes.

My car was totaled and my insurance company paid chase what my car was worth. I had a balance left over for 776.00 dollars. I paid the amount left including late fees on February 22nd through my checking account. The funds were returned because I didn’t give the full checking account number. I contacted chase about this matter and was told to wait because it’s saying paid on their end and I should receive a letter saying it was returned . So I waited. March 6th I received a letter from chase stating they reopened my account and it will be closed once paid in full. I went to their branch and paid 798 dollars on March 13th. They reported a charge off to my credit in the amount of 776 dollars. I went to the branch and a representative called them (spoke to Amy a supervisor) and they said I owed $1.05. She was stunned as well. Long story short. They claim they have no record of me calling about the bank issue ( how strange). They didn’t care that no one spoke to me or sent me anything about a charge off for 4 quarters and a nickel. And they didn’t care about the letter they sent on March 6th asking me to resubmit, which I did. Now my credit is ruined for $1.05. I thought the world of chase but I was sadly mistaken.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! My original auto loan was with chase and in December of 2019 (YES 2019) I decided to refinance with chase to remove my mom from the title and get a lower interest rate.. BIGGEST MISTAKE.. as of 8/17/2021 I am still battling with them as they have not filed to have the lien put back on my car.. I cannot tell you how many people I have spoken too in escalations and supervisors who just say sorry I don’t know why this is not happening. No one can transfer me to the title team who supposedly is the team who knows what’s going on.. they always tell me that someone will call me and I have NEVER received a call with any updates. I call pretty much Monday Wednesday and Friday for answers.
