Don't expect basic courtesy when applying for a loan, especially with Sue Shepherd. She will only collect past information about your finances. She will not bother with your current income or return your calls.

Both the customer service rep and teller were pleasant, friendly and helpful when I set up my new account. Branch is clean and attractive, though the parking lot was a little hard to navigate. Bank has good checking account deals, and copious free pens ;-)

Made the move from Wells Fargo, and have regretted it ever since. The online banking isn't user friendly, and the in-person help is shoddy at best. Twice now they've put payroll checks of mine on holds, hindering my ability to pay bills. They even made me late paying my car note, and i incurred a late fee because of it. Was told by the teller when i mentioned this, "I don't know what to tell you." The same teller told me a manager would call me back to help rectify the issue, but i never heard back from anyone. Avoid banking with this institution at all cost!

Second round I try to deposit my (payroll) check Today . And again I'm being told that my (Payroll) check Will be on hold Until it clears I've been dealing with this bank for about A few years Now I never had a problem until lately Twice this happened But I'm not going to let it happen a third time So this week I will be closing my account for good from charter oak Federal Credit Union and start a new one With Dime Bank where my (payroll) check can be deposited and available for me. No customer focus at all. Been with the company for years and they only favor to the new clients. Don’t really know why I still bank there.
