Edited and Updated. I was able to meet up with a young man that was very helpful and showed how modern technology and algorithms could help me set target goals. Will update down the road depending on how well this system works.

Reached there to find that its a single person run office and that too by appointment only. Called to take appointment but nobody picks up the phone. Phone has no greeting - just rings and beeps. Called the general 1800 number who told that this office has limited capability - e.g cannot open accounts. You are better off going to other branches.

Called to make an apt. The phone was answered by a Schwab employee who took my number and said that the person in Columbia would call me. They never did!

You really can't beat the service and options available as an investor with schwab. Lowest cost trades, excellent research resources, easy to open and transfer accounts. Plentiful margin options and responsive teams that work to help minimize your losses rather than calling as soon as they could. I moved from TD Ameritrade to Schwab and never looked back, the quality of the service, the user interface and the experience as a whole is an order of magnitude better. As long as Schwab continues this level of service, they can continue to count on my fees and commissions, what more could you want from a brokerage firm? Actually, I do wish they would allow you to open a checking account online without submitting a form, I would have moved my checking account to them as well if that option was available, but I digress.

Called the number listed, schwab employee told me that I would be called back to confirm appt here, but the call never came. I would not recommend this business.
