    As always I had a good experience with the service team. It was a little frustrating that I made an appointment for Monday at 1:30 and the work on my car didn’t start till Tuesday morning which is the reason for 4 stars. But I got my oil changed and the issue was diagnosed for my ABS and Stabilitrak light and fixed same day. Colin was great and I enjoyed working with him. I also enjoyed the shuttle driver John. He is very courteous and polite.

    The salesmen was a great guy. New his stuff. Was not pushy. But let the truck sell itself. He did not try to do a con job on us. He had the attitude he was there to serve. We would come back next time we are looking.

    I would have given 0 if I could have. Horrible customer service. Yelling and talking over me the entire time. Would not answer any of my questions with definite answers. They continuously over charge for their vehicles with minimal work that is poor quality. The service manager kept speaking over me and told me he could not accurately diagnose the problems with my vehicle but that it was my fault and not covered under warranty. This is after having my vehicle in their shop for a week with no answers and with no fleet or rental vehicle in the meantime. Will never buy from this dealership again and I do not recommend investing in their vehicles. They are not performing necessary upkeep on their vehicles including tune ups. We bought this car only 5 months ago. Very disappointed.

    During my last oil change I was informed I had a coolant leak. The place looked it up and said it was due to a recalled part on my model of car. I called and set up a time to have it looked at. I also recently had the regulator change on my window but they couldn’t get it to stay in the track but was in the up position. I didn’t tell them that. They said it would be $130 for each problem to be looked at. I drop off my car at 7am. They called me with what they found. Said the leak wasn’t due to a recalled part. It’s possible the place that did the oil change was incorrect. They stated I needed a new motor, regulator and trim for the window. The window hadn’t been used since June. The motor was fine and it was a brand new regulator that I watched the person install. Then they said the car wouldn’t be ready same day as I was told it would be. I stated I couldn’t be without my car. They said I could pick up the car and bring it back to have the leak taken care of Monday. I went after work to pick up the car and the car wouldn’t start. I left a message informing them to please call me back first thing Saturday morning so I know what was going on with the car. At 10:15 AM I called them to hear that they were busy and couldn’t get to me right away. 20 minutes later get a phone call stating my battery is bad. In the 12 hours they had my car it magically stopped working. I had just had the battery tested before the winter weather started to make sure it was fine and it was. At this point I am highly frustrated because I have been lied to. I told them to put a battery in the car and I will take it elsewhere for the coolant leak. It took them over two hours to put a battery in my car. I would not recommend this place, they lie to you about what is wrong just to make more money. I would take my car to Andy Mohr, who has a far worse reputation with service than here. They did give me a discount on labor and parts for the inconvenience but still cost $800. I was charged almost $50 for 5 push pins for the door that were all there and intact before the repair. Very disappointed in my experience.

    Everything except for my experience with Diane Carter was amazing. She is toxic, and has a poor attitude and quite frankly gives your service department a poor image. She is clearly burned out and needs to go.

    Mike Rose took great care of me. Got me in a better car than I planned for the best payment. No pressure easy transaction. Financing was also A-1. Honest, didn’t try to sell stuff I didn’t need. Will do business again. Update 2021 more regarding service. Oil changes are difficult to schedule and even with an appointment it’s a 2 hour ordeal. Last visit, emphasis on “last”, woman was rude. Having a bad day or something I don’t know or care. Made appointment online. Received text confirming appointment. Come in no record of appointment. Said we can probably get you in but you’re looking at two-three hours. I said never mind I’ll go somewhere else. Looked at me and asked seriously? Did I stutter? Next get a voicemail from Max asking how my vehicle and service is treating me. Called back not available. Connect to voicemail it’s full. Receptionist said he’d call back. As of April 23 I’m still waiting. Lease is up next year. Won’t go further with vehicles. You can have it back now if you want.

    Every time I've called on Champion Chevrolet they have Benn nothing but nice, polite, professional and courteous. Have went above and beyond to make sure they have taken care of my every need. When I went in to purchase my new truck it was by far my best new car experience I've been through. Thanks entirely to Sydney Brown who cared about my wife and I as real people.     I walked into this dealership with preapproved financing, and a vehicle already picked out. All they had to do was a purchase agreement and fax it to my finance company. It took over 5 hours to leave with the vehicle. I think it was intentional because I did not use their financing. I will definitely NOT choose Champion for my next car purchase

    I went to Champion for the first time to have my SUV serviced. I was able to make my appointment online with ease, change the appointment when I needed to, and received multiple confirmations. When I dropped off the car, Jeff was very professional, confirmed everything I wanted done and set up to have the shuttle take me home. After my car was finished, he reviewed everything they had done and the price was less than originally estimated which is always awesome. I will definitely be back!

    This is the 4th vehicle I have purchased from Champion. Andrea has sold me all 4. I trade every 2-3 years. As soon as I telling Andrea I’m ready to trade she starts working and finds exactly what I want she is amazing. This time because of vehicle availability I thought I might not get what I wanted.     I unexpectedly found myself needing a car last minute and Andrea Goodwin made this expierence as smooth as possible! Very knowledgeable, helpful and patient! Shay Foley made signing a bunch of papers seem way less stressful. Both have great customer service and great personalities. Also, the large inventory of cars made my visit so much better than I imagined considering the time crunch and bad day I was having previously. One more thing!     I was happy with how I was treated by Brooks, the service tech, during my visit. She greeted me by name when I arrived, explained the work that was done in a friendly way, and overall her attitude and demeanor made it a very pleasant experience for me.     Offered courtesy ride when I made the appointment. When I got there, they gave my ride to someone who didn’t have an appointment and told me I could wait in my vehicle. NOT HAPPY. Waiting room noisy, uncomfortable and nothing except coffee.

    I usually do not have to walk out to get my own car when I pick it up after service. All the other times it was brought to me. If that is the new policy then why don't I go park it after I check in? To me, that just sends a message that kind of feels like "Oh, we will be courteous until you pay your bill. Then we can't be bothered with you"

    The dealership ran my credit and then sold the vehicle. I knew my credit score was excellent, I had a pre-approval letter from the bank, I knew the interest rate I was locked in at. They ran my credit over the phone while I was at work and then within a half an hour sold the car to someone else because I wasn't physically in the building. They negatively impacted my credit score and I am getting nothing in return.

    Took my Traverse in to have the window control module replaced on the driver's door. Picked it up after hours and found that the drivers side window glass and tint was scratched. I assume this happened removing the door panel. The service manager sent me an email asking how the service went and I explained the issue. I was never contacted again. Jeff the service writer did well with his job and other than the damage it was repaired correctly. Mistakes happen and if I was told about the damage it probably wouldn't have been a big deal. Finding it myself and then getting no response from the Service Manager after he made initial contact is not a good look.

    Women beware! My wife had a horrible experience with this dealership. They tried to take advantage of her , thinking she didn't know what her trade was worth . As soon as she spoke up they were willing to do more . This place is definitely a place to stay away from. Would not recommend doing business here . There genral manager tried sticking up for his sales team , even though he knew they were in the wrong .

    Awesome experience. The salesman Dave Snoddy was extremely informative of the vehicle I purchased along with the entire process. I am a huge believer in good communication with the customer during the process and Dave kept me in the loop the entire time explaining everything in detail.

He communicated with me regularly, sent detailed reports about the diagnosed problem, moved quickly to get my GMC truck fixed and back on the road at a fair price.     Took my truck in for brakes and an oil change. Very pleased with the Service Dept at this location. Have had bad experience at other places. Jeff in Service was very professional, friendly, and great to work with. Pickup and drop-off went very smooth.. they time they said was when it was done.. they stayed in contact and pricing was very reasonable. Will return here next time.

    This was my second purchase of an automobile from Champion. I was completely satisfied with my sales representative, Chase. Chase was very knowledgeable with the vehicle that I purchased.     I had a recall out for my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and had no idea it existed until i called them and they told me there was one for the vacuum pump for my brake assist, they were able to get me in just before my trip out of sate so i could also get my new tires installed on my truck as well. Jeff is a great person to work with and the staff is friendly. Thumbs up.

    Let me start by stating that I understand the nature of "appointments". There is always a chance that the car you have an appointment to drive is sold before you arrive. That can easily happen and I understand and accept the risk. So, driving from Fort Wayne to see a vehicle that was in "negotiations" was a disappointment. But nothing more. A couple of hours later when we received a call that the buyer did not complete the purchase, we turned around in mid route and headed back. We decided to buy the car and the experience was "nominal" for buying a car, slow. But the dealership was nice and clean and the staff was friendly enough. One agonizing wait was imposed by the need to "clean, vacuum, and fill the tank". My wife and I both understood that "fill the tank" referred to the gas tank. The salesman misspoke. Used cars do not get a fill up. My wife was furious. I was mortified. The idea that a dealer would consume the entire day on an expensive purchase, for which used cars is often a dealer’s highest margin product, and send our daughter home on her first major purchase with an empty tank was a slap across the face. Smiles and beverages can make up for that insult. With a car dealer on nearly every corner of every city; zero excuses. Sorry Champion - Zero stars.

    Like many people, I absolutely hate the idea of car shopping. My wife and I went to a few different dealerships to start our search and all of my beliefs about the process were reinforced. However, once we went to Champion, my feelings about the process changed. First, all of their vehicles seem to be very well maintained. I can't tell you how many lots I went to where all the vehicles just looked dirty (large, reputable dealerships, too). However, at Champion, everything looks nice. We walked in, told them what we wanted to look at, and the first thing they did was drive the car out back to be washed (even though I thought it already looked pretty good), then parked it in the shade for us to look at. We test drove it, didn't feel any pressure to buy, took a few days to think about it, called back and ultimately went back and forth on price for awhile with all interactions being very cordial. Needless to say, we bought the vehicle and are extremely happy with it. We worked with a saleman named Mack throughout the process and feel lucky to have done so. When it comes time to buy a new vehicle years down the road, we will start our search here.

    We have bought and have our vehicles maintenance service done at Champion. They are very honest with their repair quotes and estimates. They will do a very throughly inspection before making recommendations for service. Their staff are very well trained professionals and go beyond in helping the customers. Even during a very busy time when they were dealing with multiple issues, Patrick took my car and washed it, and Joshua helped me in getting a loaner car for the day while my car was in the repair shop. With a dealership like this, it is impossible to go somewhere else!!!

    As soon as I got there everyone was incredibly nice. Prior to coming in I scheduled a test drive with Christian as he was very helpful on the internet. I fell in love with the car immediately. The dealership itself was very clean and all of the staff were very friendly. Andrea our saleswoman, was very nice and very professional. The process was kind of long, but other than that the whole experience was very comfortable. Despite the process being long it went very smoothly. I left with a new car and I couldn't be happier!

    After walking out of several dealerships feeling frustrated, insulted and frankly hopeless it was suggested that I go to Champion Chevrolet of Avon and ask for Chet Blanton. Best advice I've received in a long time. I went in to test drive a totally different car, but after walking the lot with Chet and him answering a LOT of questions I ended up buying something totally different and received a better vehicle in the end. Chet was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and very understanding of my current situation. Chet also took time from another customer to make sure I knew how to operate the vehicle before I left the lot, and made sure I knew what all of the buttons did and made sure I was comfortable before driving away from the lot. The finance folks were also friendly and helpful. Even though I spent money more than I had planned, I never felt like I had been sold. The finance process went smooth and Aaron gave us all the time and information we needed even though he was juggling many customers. We were there almost six hours. The only process I was not impressed with was "prepping the car". We waited quite sometime for someone to prep the car, but I'm not sure what they did actually. There was still paper floor mates and a flag in the back seat, the carpet had not been swept nor the door jams wiped, the windows were kind of dirty and it appeared they added a little bit of gas but I questioned why they didn't just fill it up. We just signed documents spending over $22,000, it seems like they could add $20 in gas. My overall experience was great and I would highly recommend this dealership to my friends.

    Vickie Cooley worked with me on finding the problem with my vehicle. I wanted the SUV back by Friday. I had dropped my car off late on Tues. I was not expecting anyone to look at it until Wednesday. Vickie called me Tuesday evening and said they had taken a look at the vehicle. They knew what the issue was and also let me know my rear brakes also needed replaced. Of course I wanted them to fix since my car was already there. She also let me know she would be contacting me the next day after she talked to the insurance company to see if the part was covered by my extended warranty. She called me the very next day and let me know the part was covered. We went over the cost and step by step everything that was to be taken care of. Vickie got my car back to me one day before I needed it. Great service and communication. She is a keeper and an asset to Champion Chevrolet

I was in a tough financial spot, but the sales team, financing, and even front desk/reception went above and beyond to help me get to a better situation.     After searching for a car all day, we came to Champion Chevrolet and within a few minutes of talking with the salesman Bill, we were able to find me a car. All of the people there were very friendly, and once I went into the financing office, the man spoke with me so that I understood what he meant and was always willing to answer any of my questions.     Best dealership I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, (I’m not a fan of dealerships from past experiences) They explained what they fixed under my cars recall and then told me a few things that needed attention. They offered to fix the issues or I could have my mechanic fix them, no pressure sales whatsoever.     Great experience. My wife and I were both overdue. It's stressful enough looking around and buying a new car, but I didn't picture 2 at once. Aaron, Mike and Patrick made it easy though... on Labor Day at that. When my wife and I arrived my new ride was already out with a welcome sign. And just a few well tuned, investigative questions and Aaron knew exactly what my wife needed. After test driving both cars we came back in and were treated wonderfully. We were presented our options and interest rates. They made it simple without being pushy. We felt comfortable making our decisions as the options were explained. The people were awesome.     I purchased an SUV at this location recently, and can share with you in full confidence that this is an outstanding dealership. From the inventory selection to the showroom, to the staff in both Sales and Finance, everything is top notch. The staff were very helpful even though I showed up "cold" on a weekend. They helped me immediately, answering my questions and helping steer my purchase decision. The salesman was easily one of the most capable I've met at any dealership and gave me confidence not only in the promise of quality behind the vehicle I purchased, but their operations as well. I bought a certified pre-owned GM vehicle and it is in outstanding condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. In fact, most of the people who've seen it so far don't believe that it's used until they see the odometer! I intend to revisit this dealership for both maintenance and new vehicle purchases. And, no, I'm not a mystery shopper.... but maybe I should be!

    Everyone in the service department were very helpful. They were able to reprogram my remote key fobs and cut new keys. The mechanic returned my truck to the service bay and noticed a brake light was out. He asked if I had time to wait to replace the light. I waited and he had it back to me in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely return for service in the future and I highly recommend their service department.

I went back up there and talked to there service department (Jeff) who basically acted like it was my fault. I've bought multiple vehicles from them including my 2500 gmc denali duramax.     Nice salesman, I generally don’t leave negative reviews. After many emails and calls about interest in purchasing my car, I decided to stop by. With the diligence in the internet sales department I thought I’d give Chevy an opportunity to purchase my Ford. That is where the pleasantries end. Take your car to Ford. Manager stated no offer based on condition of my vehicle. Meticulous maintenance no accidents, no paint work ever... no warning lights or issues. Mild mods which may have been the real reason. He drove the vehicle without my permission and insulted me. This is why I am a Ford man, thanks for the reminder champs. — I edited this review to 3 stars, I added 2 stars to my 1 star experience. I did so because a sales manager called me from champion Chevrolet to ask what they could have done differently to help the situation. I appreciate the diligence and follow up. It does not change the experience but it helps to know that someone cares enough to reach out.

    This is for their parts department which is less than efficient. I ordered a new key fob in Jan. 2022. It’s now late March. I have never heard from them so I had to call them. I have to wait 5 days until I can get an appointment to have it programmed. Frustrated with their customer service.

    After a very sour experience with a Napleton's near Indianapolis, we came across a very similar vehicle at Champion. We made a long , out-of-state trip after a TON of back and forth confirming details with Brad. Sydney was briefed on our situation and got right to the vehicle.     I always have a great experience at Champion Chevy. They greet me at the door of my car and listen carefully to what I need then escort me to the lounge and offer me refreshments while I wait. They give me an accurate estimate as to when my car will be ready and they offer me a free car wash. And that’s every time I take my car in for service!

    I would highly recommend avoiding this place! I have tried to purchase 2 new and 1 used vehicle here over the past couple years and they where so far out of line on pricing it was almost funny. However their service department is even less honest than sales. I bought a car at another dealer for a much better price and decided to take it to champion for a very straight forward add on service. They quoted me a price over the phone and then again when I dropped it off. When I picked it up it was $100 more than what I was quoted twice. When questioned I got told they don’t know who would have told me that and that this was the cost. They where very defensive and obviously did not care about honoring what they told me. I guess I should have known better based on my prior experiences, anyway buyer be warned!

    I had my car stolen and now have money to buy with cash but was told the car I liked was in service for one thing then found they lied it was mechanical. This JD sale guy had no interest in finding us a car when finding my credit wasn’t perfect!! Got a different guy Dave on my own btw. I did. have to make arrangements to be driven up there. I wasn’t leaving without a better outcome which never came to fruition! I’ll never go back my day was ruined I had no time left to go anyplace else. Still have no car idk if or when I’ll get another car thanks Chumpion!!

    January 2022 - UPDATE - GET SERVICE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. 1) Ordered part and had to wait months (almost understandable until you read further). 2) NO ONE CALLED WHEN PART ARRIVED. I called after not hearing anything for so long. 3) Did not find out the part was not painted until AFTER I dropped the vehicle off because they never looked at it. 4) Part was painted and determined to be WRONG part. 5) Ordered RIGHT part and it only took a DAY to arrive. 6) We thought that they got adhesive on the paint, left the car overnight again so they could clean it off but when we went to pick it up the adhesive WAS STILL THERE, not even touched. Spoke to the Service Manager and shared frustration. He offered to deliver my car so I would not need to pick it up upon true completion. I have low expectations when it comes to service but I go to the dealership I purchased at because I hope someone will appreciate my business and maybe take pride in the product as much as I do. This is NOT that place and I will go out of my way to avoid them going forward. February 2021 - PURCHASED 2020 CAMARO SS convertible program vehicle - Enjoyed the low pressure salesperson. Our only complaint would be the persistence in trying to sell the extended warranty. We had to say "no" at least 4 if not 5 times to proceed with paperwork. I we understood the offer and value but it started to get a little frustrating.

    I don’t know what kind of shady deals your dealership makes, but I was told the car was available, and it “had another guy coming at 2 to look at it, but if we agree on price over the phone, I will call him and say it is sold.” I agreed, got half way to the dealership, and was called and told vehilce was not sellable due Service Dept. noticing a recall. I asked what it was, and the salesman couldn’t tell me at first. Went and asked and said it was an airbag issue and the car was to go to auction. This makes me not trust your dealership, as 1. Why was it not noticed prior to putting it for sale 2. Why would you tell a customer that had an appt to see it that it was sold 3. Did you sell it to another person and couldn’t tell me because they made you more money 4. Was there really another person looking at it, or was it all a bull sales tactic to get me to rush in? Shady, to say the least! I will advise customers online to avoid Champion of Avon and give it ZERO stars in review.

Asked questions about it and they said it was fantastic and has zero issues with it. No engine codes or anything. Well they lied. When I bought it a day later and drove off the transmission started to jerk and car stalled. Had to get it towed and got it scan and a bunch of hidden codes were deleted. Multiple transmission faults were found. P0128 for example. Called Chevy of Avon and said sorry about your luck it’s “Sold as is” They didn’t even offer to fix and try to help me. It’s an 07 chevy cobalt with 144,000 miles 5,525$. As of today it’s a non working car. Hunk of metal sitting in driveway. Don’t buy used cars from them. Now out of 5k$ and I don’t have a car. Absolutely pathetic. Will attempt to find an attorney on this.

    My total amount on my bill was $805. I feel this is extremely high. When I had my car in the last time, I was advised that I needed 4 new tires. I was quoted a price of around $990. I decided to get my new tires at Discount Tires in Avon. I got the exact same tires and brand name from them and paid about $220-225 less than what I was quoted at Champion. I feel this is price gauging. I does not seem uncommon for me to pay over $500 on any car repairs I may need, unless it is only an oil change.

    Edited 11/19/21- CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS BACK ON AGAIN, even after them replacing the water pump. I can’t even trust this car to drive across town for work. Just bought a 2014 mustang from there 3 days ago, I am now stranded on the side of the road. Engine light came on and temperature gage went to hot, car wouldn’t keep driving and overheated. Not very happy , have never had this happen to me so quickly. **edited 11/14/21— service center Diana made sure it got taken care, it was covered under their forever warranty. Still a little weary though since it was said to have had a 100 point inspection when we were buying it.

    I keep dreading having purchased 3 oil changes when I bought my car from here. My first time visiting it took them over 3 hours to perform my oil change, WHEN I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. This last time I dropped my car off for another appointment and selected shuttle back, but I had to wait around 45 minutes for the person to come back to take me home. I don't plan on going back here again once all my prepaid oil changes have been completed. Very disappointed with this place. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because the staff is friendly.

    An agent set up a time for my boyfriend (who already owns a Camaro, is deaf, and who drives way better than I ever will) to test drive a car. When we got there and they saw I was signing to interpret for him, the agent stated he wouldn’t be allowed to test drive a car “with this much power.” “It’s policy,” he said. The disappointment on my partner’s face was pretty apparent. Interesting how quickly the policy changed once we were in the door. My BF texted the agent to follow up about why he was told he could test drive the car until he got to the dealership but there was no response back. Interesting.

    From the moment I pulled into the lot, I was impressed. Plenty of well marked customer parking. Cars were well parked so not to look like a maze. Dealership was clean and everyone was friendly. I was greeted with a warm smile and "How are you today, we are glad you came by". I met Steve Green pretty quickly who asked how he could help me. He was super genuine and not your typical car salesman. I never felt like I was being pressured in any way. Steve took the time to get to know me and what was important. I was impressed that the owner was available on the showroom floor and met me. Aaron Glaze who helped me with the financing explained everything to me and was totally transparent.     I brought my 2021 Silverado 1500 Ltz to Champion to have a Thinkware F200 dashcam system installed. This is my first brand new vehicle so I was very nervous about having someone work on it, especially the interior. Diana and Josh were very patient with all of my questions and even had an associate get the keys to a similar Silverado so I could compare it to mine afterwards as I was checking out the install. Matt Jump, who installed the cameras, came out to answer a few questions I had and was very professional and knowledgeable. I've had the cameras installed for a few weeks now and have noticed no imperfections in the install or the cameras. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend Champion's service department.

    Worst customer service ever!! Called about a truck that their website stated was "in transit". Just a sneaky way of getting you in their showroom. But according to their sales person, I will call him "J", "in transit" means we don't know when it will arrive, if ever. So when questioning this, he hung up on us!! All we wanted to know is why his company would advertise this and tell you one thing and then when talking to someone else they tell you something completely different??!! Second time we have tried dealing with this dealership. Never again!! I had to give 1 star only so I could leave a review. Strongly suggest going elsewhere.

    A 2004 Corvette ZO6 was brought in for a 'pre-purchase inspection' and oil service. The owner was offered courtesy shuttle which was much appreciated. The staff was responsive, courteous and informative. Inspection results were comprehensive, but I was NOT offered the opportunity to speak DIRECTLY with the technician. That would have been the 'icing on the cake'. In future, you should offer that opportunity if it is requested. I requested it, but it was not forthcoming. That's my only disappointment.

We got a great price trading in my Malibu and were then able to lease a car within our price range.     My second time in to the dealership. I find the staff (Vickie) to be very truthful and easy to approach. The staff understands what I'm telling them and acts appropriately. BOTH times the total cost of repair has been UNDER the estimate. That's been VERY nice.     Literally overnight, my car started having an electrical issue that was going to cost me more than it was worth to repair but it was not safe to drive. I was less than happy to have to buy a new car and my hectic schedule requires me to have my own transportation that must be reliable.
