I have been a proud member for the last 45 years. I would not dream of going anywhere else. This credit Union helped me buy my first car and later in years, my forever home. Always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

I have been with ccu since 1989. I have used this branch for years before they opened the Orland Park branch which is also great. However, this branch was always professional, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and always helping me to make decisions that was beneficial for me as long as it was within the policies and procedures of the Credit Union, however, they have taken the time to sit with me and devise plans in which they could help me as a customer. This credit union as well as the other branch have been like family and assisted me through some very hard times and trusted me as a long time customer as I trusted them as my financial institution to assist me when times were hard. I am a customer for life and would recommend this institution for all financial decisions you might make in your life. Become part of this family you will not regret it.

It was discovered that 25 years ago there was an unpaid balance on central credit union visa. It should have been dispersed though a bankruptcy. As I'm opening a new account, the credit union tells me its ok, they wont touch your account. Lies! next thing you know my account is frozen and the collections department have gone for the day. Made arrangements to pay $25 per pay period with Joanie. She collected four payments from my account, and then stopped. it was almost a year, then $25 was collected unexpectedly! I don't have a problem with paying what's owed. I do have a problem with taking money from my account without my knowledge!! there needs to be a set schedule and stick to it NO surprises! Customer Service is good but this place is super outdated, no drive thru, no atm, seems like this place has been the same since it was built

I have been a member of this C.U. for many years. I like it because of the personalized service and that EVERYONE I have had the pleasure of knowing through my experience with this credit union has left me with a positive impression. It felt like the days when customer service mattered. I am familiar with the tellers at both locations Orland Park and Maywood. Lovely ladies with special mention of Lisa at Orland Park and Andrea Boreas (sp) at the Bellwood branch. Today I had the displeasure of speaking with someone called Michelle. She is unprofessional and perhaps can be improved with more training. Just mean spirited. Things have definitely changed.

Just awful. First up, my wife and I were pretty shocked that we both got TWO HARD CREDIT INQUIRIES just to open an account here, so if you're trying to maintain a solid credit score and stay on top of your FICO score, think long and hard about this. Beyond that, we found the staff to be mostly pleasant, outside of management who were unhelpful when dealing with requests to downright hostile. We never dealt with any fees or overdraft charges or anything, so we can't speak to that, however we were told in the end that we were depositing too many checks and they didn't have the staff to handle the few checks we'd bring in a week from my wife's side business. The office is VERY dated looking and somewhat rundown and on a relatively barren section of 1st Ave across from a liquor store. Overall, we'd never recommend going here with your business. Management is intrusive and hostile, the staff is pleasant enough but seem bored, the place seems rundown, they will hassle you for doing anything outside of direct depositing one or two paychecks a month (despite there being no set limits in any documentation, admitted by the management, making it up to their discretion) there are many better options locally, and they slapped TWO HARD CREDIT PULLS on our credit reports to open a checking account, which to me is unbelievable and unacceptable. Avoid

1 * because they failed to update their operating hours during the covid Virus. They do not open at 9 a.m. they open at 10 a.m.
