The closing process including home appraisal process was a breeze. It is always tricky to understand options such as paying points to secure a lower APR or considering a 10/6 ARM versus a 30-year Fixed Term. However, Jason has the experience and knowledge to walk you through the pros and cons. That is very valuable.

Refinanced my home with Jason in just about 2 weeks after my historical mortgage broker had been unable to secure my target rate for months. I recently used Catlin Capital's services to refinance my investment property. From start to finish, they not only met but exceeded my expectations. The first thing of note is the "widget" on their website to view current rates and costs. Not only is it easy to use and the information it produces a 100% accurate representation of the loans/rates/costs they have to offer, but you are not required to provide any personal information which means you won't get endless phone calls, emails, or text messages. The interest rates/costs were the best I could find for my situation (and I did a fair amount of research). I found Jason Catlin to be extremely professional and helpful, providing me with information and advice to make the best decision for myself. He was extremely responsive, promptly answering my emails and addressing any questions I had. Travis Lepsch was, by far, the best loan processor I have ever worked with. Aside from being exceptionally responsive, he was very clear in his communication with what was required of me, he acted immediately upon receiving all of my information, and he promptly advised me when I may have overlooked or made a mistake with something. The combination of all of these factors led to me securing a great loan that closed in 18 calendar days from the time I began the process. I certainly have had positive experiences with other brokers/lenders in the past, but this was by far the BEST experience I've ever had. Highly recommended - I would give them 10 stars if I could! I'm now refinancing my primary residence mortgage with them as a result.

Able to negotiate lower rates and higher credits than anywhere else I can find in the market. Very fast online lending but also personal and Jason Catlin himself called me every time I had a major concern although the process was seamless. They are not the big guys who shove you to the back with the highest rate they can get and will not spam you with marketing. Their rates are upfront on their website before even submitting information (subject to change frequently as market changes daily). They rely on the unparalleled quality of their work to move their business forward.

Most rate-searching tools online are just lead generators so a salesman can call you, but the Catlin Capital one tells you the fees, points or credit, and rate that Jason will actually be able to get for you. Nice! And I should add, it's quite easy to work with them from my home in Colorado. The title company just sends out a notary to meet you at your house or a coffee shop on the closing day. I've used Catlin multiple times to refinance. I love that you can check and compare rates on their website and there are no hidden surprises from what is shown there if you apply and lock. They always seem to offer among the lowest rates/costs around and have excellent and responsive service through the way. The process can take a while and you may have to sign the same thing more than once, but overall a great experience.

Did a cash-out refinance in Oct 2020 with Catlin Capitol after getting a very positive recommendation from a friend. Since then myself and several other friends have done similar deals with them and all have been happy with the outcome and service they received.
