Cashland S Ohio St, Martinsville

I bought a food slicer here and it didn't work . The blade barely turned and the motor surged and smelled hot. I returned it in less than a week thinking they still had their 7 day return policy to find they no longer have any guarantee on anything you buy. You have to buy their warranty at time of purchase. It's this kind of extortion that has to stop. There is an implied warranty when you sell an item that it will work. They also test items you pawn to make sure they work. Why would you have to buy a warranty they should just include it in the price. They used to have a 7 day cash return policy.

I have spent a lot of money at this store. I've also referred numerous people here that have spent plenty of money....I will NEVER shop here again. And, to all those I've referred here, I am so sorry. I bought a $40 Garmin GPS here today, they had sold out of the ones in the display case, so a worker went in back and brought 3 out. I glanced at them in her hands, told her I would take the Garmin. Paid, walked out the door and drove straight home. I took it out of the bag, when I arrived home, and, I noticed a crack along the side....I decided I would take it back, they said 7 day money back with receipt. When I got there, they said that it wasn't cracked when they sold it to me. I was offended that they treated me like that. I didn't break the stupid thing. I felt like a criminal! I will tell everyone not to shop here....if i could give less than one star I would

I will never go back. I bought a 600.00 ring 2weeks ago. It was dented and I was told before I bought it IT would be an easy fix. So I went to jeweler after jeweler and they said it's a hollow ring and can't be fixed. So I went back to Cashland Martinsville In. Where I bought it and tried to return it. They wouldn't give me money or in store credit because of the same dents they said were fixable. They ran a con game. I'm calling a lawyer tomorrow

Some of their employees are good, but a lot of them are rude. There's one girl with long brown highlighted all braided hair who is rude. Less and less people these days have paper proof, going Green and all, paperless billing and statements. My pay stub is in my phone and my bank account. Cashland should offer a computer so people can print their info out there at cash land. If you need money running all over trying to get paper proof of documents it's not convenient or practicle. When cashland was in Bloomington they always let me use a computer, since Bloomington closed.... Martinsville won't let you so you use a computer and you have to go to the library first, pay for print outs and then go try and get a loan. Ridiculous!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PAWN SHOP THE EMPLOYEE'S ARE HATEFUL AND DISRESPECTFUL!!! GO TO ACE PAWN THEY ARE MORE THEN HELPFUL AND THE EMPLOYEE'S TREAT YOU LIKE A PERSON NOT A DOG LIKE CASH LAND I HOPE THEY GO PUT OF BUSINESS VERY SOON!! BLOOMINGTON AND ITS RESIDENTS DONT NEED YOU!!

I’ve never had a bad experience until today. Normally they are very helpful but today we were ignored so I didn’t buy anything. They were more interested in their conversation than helping.

I have bought several items from here in the past. Never used the payday or pawn loans, so I have nothing to say about that. But I did attempt to pawn some things that had been sitting collecting dust. Some of it was my husbands things that when he pasted no one wanted. I also wanted to see what my wedding set was worth. The goal was to pick out some new things for my son and maybe myself if the offer was worth it. A break with the past with something new. It was hard enough and I had not made my mind up when I handed my ring to the lady. My husband had this ring made for me. It is 3/4ct tri stone marque cut diamond ring set in 14k white gold. (With receipt from purchase including a detailed point description) First one lady looked at it and claimed it was fake. Then they took it in the back and tested the diamonds, which they confirmed were real. They then went to test the gold and here becomes the issue. First had I known they were going to gouge lines into my ring that would have been a hell no! But that is what they did. They then put what she claimed was acid and told me it looked like copper and they didn't want it. At this point I am now close to tears. 1. You just told me that the man I loved gave me a fake ring. In front of your staff and other employees. 2. You treated me terrible and made a hard situation unbearable. Thank you for insulting my husband who is not with us anymore, and reducing me to tears in front of everyone and my son. 3. How can you tell me the diamonds are real but then claim they placed them in some cheap worthless metal, that you couldn't even verify. Who does that anyway? Oh and the brass color they claimed confirming my fake ring was atleast plated, cleaned off leaving only the damage they did to my ring and day. Unprofessional, rude, tactless, mean. Use a stone like real dealers do.

Had agreed on price. Plugged in drill and it works, then told it didnt pasd the "smell test". Complete joke. I should bring all my tools in for them to smell. Maybe they can tell me what i should plan on replaceing in the meantime.

This Cashland is filled with great people who want to help out as best they can. Everyone has weeks where the ends don't meet as well as we'd like and these people understand that and want to help. Highly recommend.

The Ladies that work there are rhe BEST! ! Professional and personal!!! They are willing to go to that extra mile in helping their customers!! 5 ☆'s from me!!!
