Cash in a Flash Pawn S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood

I don't know who they paid to write the other reviews I see here. However my experience with this establishment is 100% negative. Pawn shops are known for lowballing but these guys take it to a whole new level. I've attempted to give this establishment my business out of convenience of location however in the future I will gladly drive several minutes out of my way to avoid this establishment.

Really poor experience. One employee, the younger man working there was very polite, greeted me at the door, very helpful. The older dude in there whose name I didn't pick up was very rude and condescending. I was brought to the counter with a scope that I was trying to sell, they asked what I would want for it to which I said $450, for anyone wondering its a vortex viper hslr 4-16x50, model vhs-4313-lr. I feel that $450 is a fair price for it as thats half of retail and I understand its a pawn shop trying to make money but was offered $150. Lol look up that scope and ask yourself if that sounds correct. I also asked if I could see a firearm which they were selling and once again the younger man was very helpful and polite and came back and handed it to me. I asked if I could take off the dust cover because it was an AK pattern rifle and all it takes is a single button press and seeing that it's a used rifle im not going to buy anything sight unseen and the younger man did say that I could. After briefly looking the rifle over I then asked if I could also take the bolt out of the rifle to look at it and before the younger man could say anything, the older guy asked "are you a gunsmith?" Once I said no he said "then no, if you wanna do that you have to buy it first and if you wouldve asked me if you could take the dust cover off I wouldve said no to that to" in a very sarcastic and condescending tone. Idk if he understands that buying a used gun without looking at the inside of it can be dangerous because you never know what the previous owner may have messed with but he did tell me that he's been selling sporting goods for 30 years now. He couldn't even figure out how to put the cap back on the scope and hes telling me he's been selling sporting goods for 30 years....sounds about right. I handed them the rifle back and im never doing business with this place. Idk if that dude had a bad day or what but he was a real pos. The younger dude was great, but really gets overshadowed by the other guys piss poor service and attitude. For anyone looking for a decent pawn shop to sell too, this isn't it.

These guys are awesome! When ever I need quick cash I can count on them to give me a loan against stuff I own...

Never knew this pawn shop was here.. I've been to almost every pawn shop in Denver, not to mention all the other cash in a flash locations.. this one though yeah not coming back. Found some stuff I wanted, asked the guy showing me the stuff what he could do on the price. He came back gave me a price. We were close but not quite where I wanted to be. So I counter offered, mind you it wasn't much. I offered $80 less than his offer. Deal was over $1000 even with the lower offer I made. He said let me talk to, who I think was the manager. The manager was not having it & told me he wasn't even honoring the other employees original offer.... Said pay full price or it's going back in the case.. I've spent over $500,000 with pawn shops over the last 4 years & never have I ever had a deal pulled like this. Very unprofessional. You all may want to rethink who's managing your locations. Unfortunately for this location they won't get a chance to work with me again.

I have always had an amazing experience from this location. Every time I come in they are always extremely friendly, very straightforward and are always very honest about everything. I have never had such great experiences with a pawn shop as I have with this one. Whether needing to get a loan during these crazy Covid-19 times or when doing some shopping they always make sure that every experience is amazing. I truly will no longer go to any other pawn shop anymore.

Hmm my original comments got erased somehow - operator error is a possibility, lol. Well these guys are the best. Tom is so good in customer service there is no way I’d go anywhere else. He is super nice, patient, and seems to care about what he’s doing. He helped me out tremendously and a good part of that was his awesome attitude. Made my day. I’ll be back in soon as I can and hoping he’s there when I do make it down in a few days. Love this place!!

If I could rate these guys in the negative I would. Went in to pawn off some old golf clubs, and the guy at the counter looks me in the eye and says “sorry we only take high end clubs, and they can’t be older than 2 years”. This is a freaking pawn shop, not some 5 star outlet retailer. The audacity of these guys. Do not shop here, their service is terrible and they act entitled. They’ll look down on you just because you’re coming in to pawn something off (ironic).

I wouldn't go to this place unless you like attitude the tall guy with the grayish beard he costed himself a sale and sales in the future been looking for a handgun also

Very bummed about the new manager Tom at this location. I’ve been a customer with nothing but great history, and was turned away for a loan entirely. I’ve pawned two items for the same or similar loan amount three times within the last year, and today he told me the value was much too high and he could only offer me 3/4 the original loan amount. I said that’s fine and that I would find the other money for my bill deficit elsewhere. That’s when he decided that the items weren’t worth his overhead whatsoever and turned me away. Bummed to loose the closest and most convenient loan to home, but I won’t be back with a manager with an attitude like that.

Wonderful experience. 1st time to work with a pawn shop for a short term loan. I needed some quick cash to buy a car. I worked with at least 4 different staff in the loan process and all were professional, courteous and patient. I will be a returning customer.

These guys were awesome my first time in. The had exactly the guitar I wanted and were very knowledgeable about their equipment. One employee even gave me advice on painting one of my guitars. Not only that, but they even had a custom fit hard case for the guitar at no extra charge!! infact, they even gave me a discount on everything after the fact! Very cool guys, great selection of music equipment. I will be returning for sure sooner than later.

My first time pawning and I admit I was a little nervous. Miles the store manager instantly put my worries to rest. He was very polite, very helpful, and explained the entire process. He paid me exactly the amount I needed. Made the entire awkward experience quite pleasurable and easy. If you have to use a pawn shop I highly recommend this one.
