my VA loan was transferred from chase to these clowns. i went through the modification trial and paid successfully on time. Modification payment was over doubled and after the process they send the final documents, and my balance went from 200k to over 400k, which my home is not worth and my payment increased $500. I told them I was not paying that and that I was getting a lawyer. they said I missed a payment I told them to check the recording in Dec. then I get an email requesting a death certificate. I asked them who died? then after I threatened to get a lawyer, they can see the Dec pmt and said they were drawing up new documents. when chase switched my loan to Carrington, they said my initial agreement will remain the same. so as long as my husband remains active duty which he is then my home is safe from foreclosure. Since this company, I was threatened with foreclosure during the modification process because I paid through the app. then they told me the app was no good. this a VA loan and regardless they cannot foreclose on my home, especially as long as I'm making my payments. trust me i do have a paper trail that I will submit to my lawyer. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one they are trying scam.

She helped me to understand what I had to do and gave me options to save my family's property! It's very important to me to have had an opportunity to work with Trina! She took the time, put forth effort, and explained every step to me! She informed me of other options in order to redeem my family's property! When you are given information, you're held accountable! I thank Trina, I have an opportunity to redeem my family's home! Most people would not have taken the time with me! She did and I'm grateful for that. Thank you again!

My 100% disabled vet grandfather had his mortgage purchased by them back in august of 2021 and this company has been harassing him demanding he pay taxes that his VA loan should be handling and have demanded documentation which is already on file and are no longer even applying his mortgage payments to his loan. He never once received anything even discussing a $200 dollar increase on his bill. They have been nothing but horrible to talk to and handle. They refuse to look at the documents they have on file that state what is covered through the va. Awful company to work with. Worst my grandparents have ever dealt with.

Horrible customer service. My loan was purchased recently by this company and of course they do not provide the same services I was accustomed to with my prior mortgage company. They do not care to step up to the plate and offer better services, they instead insist that you (the customer) do the extra leg work for them. Do not go with this company if you have the option, hopefully I will get a new company soon.

I wish I could give zero stars to this company. I hate to come from Wells Fargo for our mortgage to this fiasco. No one knows nor provides the correct info. I can never get a straight answer. I have called the number listed on the mortgage invoice and when I call the recording goes all the way through to verify my identity only to say that the office is closed. There is no hours of operation listed. Please please list hours of operations or have the recording state when on hold. There is so much more I can say but I will stop there.

Update on Carrington Mortgage, Dallas TX not correcting my mortgage payments to current status. They reversed my March's mortgage payment on March 11; but cashed my payment. I paid April mortgage payment and now they are saying it is late and that I am two months behind. WHO IS THIS COMPANY? They brought my mortgage at the beginning of this year, and they have been grieving me since. I called them at least 3xs to current this error. They have not to date. I do not feel safe with this Mortgage company processing my May's mortgage payment they will apply it to April. HELP!!! I am praying that another Mortgage company will buy my mortgage from them, I think I will have a since of security.

These are some of the worst people I personally have encountered in quite some time. Unfortunately, they have been my mortgage service company for the last 15 years. I can't wait to be able to get rid of them forever. Wells Fargo is the bank that holds my paper. I can't wait to fire them as well. I have been banking with Wells Fargo for over 20 years. This is another large financial institution that provides mediocre service to their customers. Sofi is looking like a very attractive prospect. What happened to the customer is always right. I remember when this bank was caught up in scandal, opening accounts in dead people's names and changing customers accounts without the consent of the customer. We have choices, choose wisely.

Avoid at all costs I can't wait to get out of my mortgage with these people. They constantly make mistakes on the escrow and mortgage and won't even admit it's a mistake on their part. I have had nothing but problems with them since my mortgage was sold to them.

I've been working with Tom since my mortgage was transferred to Carrington. I've been dealing with issues with my previous mortgage company and he's helped me through things. He's been in constant contact with me during this entire transition process. I really appreciate the updates and check ins without me having to contact him about things. He explains everything in detail to help me better understand. This has been an experience I've never had with a mortgage company and I really appreciate it!

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! So what would it take to get a call back from the highest manager i can speak to??? Do I need to contact a lawyer?? You guys have been giving us the run around for months. Now our house is in foreclosure status because you say we owe you. We have sent in documents stating otherwise and have been in the research dept for a month now!!! I need a call back from the highest manager i can speak to and not one of the so call supervisor that answer the phone that can not assist or resolve this issue!!! I NEED ASSISTANCE NOW AND NEED SOMEONE TO SPEAK TO THE RESEARCH DEPT. My next step is contacting the better business bureau and a lawyer!
