From the second I got there they were pushing me to leave because it was a holiday weekend. Look I have no problem not going in on a Holiday weekend. Although Brian was a lot of help…I would NEVER buy from Car Hop Topeka. Most people would already know this but when you are in a pinch and needing something as soon as possible sometimes you look past the reputation of places like this. First off I purchased the car on Monday and it had already broke down by that Friday. They couldn’t get the car looked at until Monday. So now I am 38 weeks pregnant sitting here with no car and waiting on the car that I have already paid for from CarHop. Not knowing when I will get that car back. Also, when I got the car the tires were flat and they said they would re-emburse me for the tires and NEVER did and now refusing to do so. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER go here!! If I could give it zero stars I would.

Wasted my time knowing what vehicle I wanted and then told me that only an older van was available to me. I was able to go to another dealership and purchase a brand new SUV 2 days later. Won't ever waste my time with a place like this again.

Sale man Brian they approved me for a car I had a choice between 3 cars all 3 car was junk . check engine light on the van the Saturn sound like it's falling apart so Brian call me and said he had some more cars but I wanted to see what they had car hop is a waste of time if they can't sell what they want then they can waste your time.car hop is no good .so when you see car hop keep hoping .

I recently payoff my car loan and had some questions about when I was going to get my title, basically was unsure about what was the next step. So I contacted the Carhop chat and I was helped by Teresa, she was amazing, answer all my questions and basically explained everything and by the end of that chat I was well informed. Just want to thank Teresa again for her excellent customer service.

They promised us a car within three days. It’s now been 6 weeks. I’m almost 95% sure they sold the car we originally put down the money for. Then had been “waiting on a title” from I-70 auction on a different car they wanted us to drive… for another 2 weeks. I had to request for a refund ($400).which I’ve been waiting for for over 3 weeks now. They keep telling us that they’ll call and send emails to let us know where our money is at… but not only did they literally never once call me through any of this time, It feels like we were lied to every step of the way. While waiting for them to figure it out, my car gave out and I decided to finance somewhere much better:)

Teresa has been amazing in working with me when I had a situation and was unable to make a full payment she made it work for me to be able to still stay current on making payments with a temporary plan until I could get back on track! She explained everything very thoroughly and was very sweet and understanding and talking to her is always pleasant.

Very friendly, wasn't really pushy about anything, worked with me very well.

Spoke with Teresa today about the status with ordering a replacement engine and she was AWESOME! It’s frustrating that I’ve had so many issues with my vehicle since day one BUT when someone goes above and beyond, it makes it a little less stressful and I’m glade I’m able to work with her on getting this resolved! Only deal with this lot if you have no other choice. Took a little time , but was able get a car. they said i had seven days to make sure l liked it. Or i could trade for a different car or get a refund. with in three days i noticed some issues. the shop they want me to take it to can not get to it for 3 weeks. and when i asked about trading on on a different car they claimed it was the only one i was approved for. yet the web site shows they have 7 other vehicles for the same or lower price. Due to no credit history getting a car was not easy. a refund would be pointless as i need a car to get to work and back.

Marcus and the whole Carhop team made the process of buying a car so easy and quick. The whole process was stress free and I never felt pressured to agree to anything. They got me in an amazing car for under my budget! I highly recommend carhop if you are looking for a car.

I came in about a month or so ago to get a cheap vehicle. At the time everything was smooth and swell and everything sounded like a good deal with no deposit or anything. The car was a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica with a bad battery so they replaced it and pretty sure that's why I didn't pay a deposit. I signed the paperwork and left with said car. I haven't had the car not even a full 24 hours and the car breaks down on me. It was towed back to Topeka from Lawrence and has since been in car shop and I was told numerous issues was wrong with it. They told me the car will not even be looked at until I made a payment. I don't feel I should owe a payment right then and there. I would have no problem making a payment after the fact it was fixed and driveable again. They are basically holding the car hostage until I make a payment. Come to find out the car, with the miles it has on it is only worth, maybe $2500. They charged me over $9,000 on my credit report and are still refusing to let me have the car until I make a $500 payment. I wasn't told any of this until after the fact the car was in shop. I highly don't recommend carhop unless you want a huge financial burden and a run around on a worthless vehicle and associates that lie about the car and try to cover up a mess up on their end. Needless to say, I will be forfeiting my contract and will NEVER go through carhop again

This is the second car we have gotten from here. It is a build your credit place. Buy here pay here. People are nice and helpful. Just remember, you will need a down payment. More you can put down the better you are. Nice car in the higher price range. Go check it out

Great place to get a car! Couldn’t get the model I wanted but was able to still buy a Jeep I’m satisfied with my purchase. Bryan was a great sales rep, and I wood recommended to anyone.

My wife and I went in last saturday because we were interested in buying a car. I told them the specific car I wanted to look at and test drive. Marcus told me they had to run my credit to see what I would be approved for. I told him I'm not doing that til I see the car first because i did not want the credit ding. I also told him I was planning on paying for the car with straight cash and he still wouldnt let me look at the car without running my credit first. So we went to 3 different dealerships and actually got to shop around and test drive before making a decision to buy a vehicle from Harrison Family Motors. Do not go to carhop unless you literally know nothing about cars or have absolutely no money or credit history.

Will go anywhere but here, went in about a week and a half ago and the guy was extremely pushy when i said i wasn't interested in a minivan and was shopping wanting to get my options, it was the only thing he was going to let me look at regardless of how many times i told him i wanted nothing to do with the minivan i get he wanted to get rid of something that wasn't selling but get a clue. Extremely unprofessional reeked of smoke. I will actively tell people to go anywhere else but here after this experience. I only wish i could rate this place lower then 1 star.
