I just got a car from them! They were amazing with helping me come up with affordable payments. Super helpful, kind, friendly people. Fara was awesome. She was super kind, laughing with me and made me feel comfortable all around. I will continue with my services at carhop!!

Great customer service in sales. Very poor quality vehicles! Farhia worked hard to help us get into a car. They were busy at the site and they still managed everyone quickly and with stellar customer service! With that being said. The first vehicle we purchased began overheating in the first couple days. Likely bad heater core. Returned that vehicle and the second one (from Maplewood location) had a flat tire that needed repair, bent stabilizer bar and bad catalytic converter. None of which the Car Hop warranty will cover. If you test drive their vehicles take it to a mechanic to check for you otherwise you are locked into a high interest loan with massive auto repair expenses on top of it.

As I came to see about a vehicle, the sales person was friendly and helpful,, I was able to test drive from two dealerships within carhop,, and found a car that suits my needs,, especially with my low credit score,,

If you don't have good credit be sure to have a very significant down payment. If you don't they will try to sell you a junk car. I went with a 2005 equinox. Blue book value is no where near what carhop is charging and the vehicle is in poor condition. I really regret my decision and will be returning the vehicle. Be aware of what they are trying to sell you.

Buyer beware. If you consider purchasing a vehicle from these shady shmucks, TAKE IT IN TO YOUR TRUSTED MECHANIC (not one of "theirs") and have it THOROUGHLY checked out. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER purchase anything from these guys! Had to fight tooth and nail to get the MANY issues fixed and after the car was picked up yesterday, we noticed they didn't fix the long crack in the windshield they said they would. Looks like this saga isn't over. MAKING ANOTHER CALL ON MONDAY....this should be fun.

Candra and Tyler were superb to work with! They worked their butts off for me to get financing approved for a unique situation, when the first vehicle that I got ended up not working for my needs within the first week they were able to get me into a better suited vehicle with no issues. On top of that they were able to get a couple minor mechanical issues on my new vehicle addressed right away! I will definitely be back to get my next vehicle from them and would recommend them to anyone!

They worked with me and my partner to get us the kind of car we wanted. Was worried the next day of having the car it would not start.. They had it towed and brought to the shop and had it fixed they answered all my questions and I've called them like 20 times and they were very patient with me .. now it's just to see how long the car will last . It's been an alright expensive so far. It's a good way to get your credit up as long as you make payments on time

We bought our 2002 Honda Accord, a little over 2 years ago and Ed was our sales person he was great! and now we have decided to trade in the most reliable car we have owned to date, for something a little roomier(* we have grand kids now) so we are looking at a Chevy Traverse and it was at the Joplin lot and Gary went to pick it up for us on his day off, and Ed was there again for the paperwork, It wasn't quite "ready" So Paula has steeped in to make this possible. So a huge THANK YOU to Paula and her staff for literally going out of your way to make this happen!!!

I have had two cars through CarHop. I went there for the first one because like a lot of people I had bad credit and couldn't get a vehicle easily. The first car the transmission went out and I couldn't get any help getting it fixed. I was only a few payments away of it being mine. I tried to replace the vehicle but nobody would help me because I still had payments to CarHop. I had no choice but to go back. After 2 years and 10 months, paying $482 a month for a 2003 Jeep liberty I am only 61% done paying for my car. They get rude with you and can get away with it because they know you have no other choice but to do with them. I actually did the math it would have been cheaper for me to steal a car get caught and go to jail. After all the money I spent I would have done that.

This review is solely on my experience with James at the Blaine Car Hop; the jury is still deliberating on the vehicle, haha. I went into Car Hop on 5/5/18, with the weight of the world on my shoulders. I'm a single parent working full time and doing college full time online with not a great support system. I needed a vehicle and have very bad credit due to tough times in my life that required me to make other things a priority. I met with James, a seriously funny man, who took the time to go over everything with me in detail. He spoke with his manager Chris in detail to see what they could do to better assist me so I would have a set of wheels, it didn't need to be anything fancy, to get to and from work and take my crazy 8 year old where he needed to be. Thanks to the amazing friend(s) I do have, I was able to leave with a vehicle, but it is in large part thanks to James for the dedicated work he provided to make sure I would be taken care of. I went into Car Hop knowing what MOST of the locations do, and I'll admit, I was nervous. But James has been great and is hilarious so I feel a million times less stressed. As I mentioned, the verdict on the vehicle is still out but the verdict on James and his customer service skills are PERFECT. (here's where you insert a cool emoji, yo)

Shirly at carhop is seriously a godsend I've had so many struggles this last year and she has helped me time and time again with no judgment!! My truck broke down it was going to cost over 1000 to get it fixed she worked with the mechanic and managed to make me not have to pay a dime which is amazing because nothing was covered under warranty!!! These are the people to go to in a pinch! Tyler the manager is cool to, hes real with u and helps u out as well!!

I got a car from car hop about a month ago. Everything was going fine until i had to get a new battery which wasn’t that big of a deal. Then a week later my door handle broke off so now I have to leave my doors unlocked at all times and carhop is nooooooo help. They say you have a 18month/180000mile warranty but they won’t even try to help they looked at me and said sorry it’s cosmetics we can’t do anything about it. I honestly just want my money back and they can have this car back!!!!

My wife and I just bought a car from CarHop in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Marcus was our salesman, and was a godsend. He made the whole process comfortable and easy. I have been denied by every dealership, but not this time. I drove home an amazing reliable car with more than affordable payments that were made just for me. Today I went in to look at a car in the crystal location I got approved but I didn’t have paystubs to show so this men told me to come back in 2 weeks. So fast forward a couple of hours later .I bring my brother in because he is also In need of a car and he wanted to trade his car in also. But his credit was really bad so they gave him only one options which was a 2007 Kia and they had it over in the Blaine location so we ended up going there. Key to remember you my brother doesn’t know much about cars so when we got there I took the keys and said okay let me start it and see how it runs. Then I go ahead and call my uncle to ask to show him the car and to know if my brother was making the right decision. We go and test drive it and bring it back and the car has issues with it. I have never been to a dealership were other people can’t test drive cars only the person who’s buying. If they would had told my brother that I would had never gotten in the car or drove it. So fast forward we bring the car back to the crystal location and they tell my brother that this Asian lady with brown hair I don’t know her name called and had a conversation with them saying they heard me discussing about getting a car or what not. So John goes on to say my brother couldn’t get the car because his doing fraud. I don’t know if they have a discrimination against black people or what but they were quick to jump to conclusions and I even explained it to John and they didn’t care. I would never advise anyone to go to the Blaine and crystal location the lady was very rude over the phone. I will never go to that location ever again for a car.

Farhia was most efficient, outstanding and personable. She got me in and out within an hour. she understood what I was wanting and was most honest about the prices in my price range in regards to my own budget. I highly recommend her as your next sale person here!

Everyone is not approved. It's not as easy as they make it out to be. I called first & asked exactly what documents I would need, told them I'll be coming in a Uber. When I get there, had to watch a video, they made a copy of my DL, just to tell me I have to get my first paystub before I can get approved. My offer letter & bosses contact info would not suffice. $40 on a Uber there and back bcuz I was misinformed on the info I needed.waste of time

They did credit check, before even showing us what they might have available! Plus, outright told my wife she would NOT have to show her DL, but then made her show it! I will NEVER go to them again!!!!!

I have been a 4 time customer with Carhop and today I had to talk to a financial representative and received the gentleman from Blaine MN and he was so understanding about my situation. He resolved my issue in a very professional and friendly manner. I love my vehicle and would recommend them to anyone.

If you have bad credit, and this is your absolute last choice, than be prepared to pay twice the value of what the car is actually worth. The cars in the Blaine lot are not impressive what so ever. They had to jump start cars in order to get them running. There not clean on the outside or the inside. Your better off if possible save 4000.00 to 5000.00 because that's about the price 9f a car your getting except you will end up spending $12,000 ,for $6000.0] car. People were friendly but I would not waste my time looking for a car at this lot. Junk junk junk!

After dealing with 3 different carhop agents (Joel and Susan absolutely Terrible) i woulda rated 1 star between all of them but then Jeremy from the Blaine location answered my call and treated me not only like a customer but like an actual human. $10,000 for a lemon? This is the place to go! I financed a Mazda from these guys and it has sense to be found to have been hot wired and flooded before being rebuilt to a barely running state. They do not provide you with vehicle history for a reason. If you are in immediate need of a vehicle, go anywhere else. Hopefully they don't pad their paycheck with your desperation like these, "super nice guys!" When you reach out, they'll send an automated email asking you if you'd like to trade in to finance another one because your warranty isn't valid on the trash they sent you out driving in.

Yes! I enjoyed my experience with Carhop. I enjoyed my interview with Matthew. All my questions and expectations were answered and no worries. Customer service is horrible. We literally called about our license plate & a rep called MATT was rude AF. We was trying to get the phone number for the right location (Crystal) & while telling him to hold on .. he continues on with the the number .. & replies with “It’s slower then what you gave me the number as “ remind you the call is recorded!!MATT SHOULD BE MUCH BETTER WITH HIS COMMUNICATION/CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!

Unless you want to pay 10 grand for a vehicle that breaks down every other week, stay far from this place. I financed a jeep from these people about a year ago and have had to put over 5 grand in repairs into it since. I called them to find out if I could sell the jeep and pay off the remaining bill. Come to find out I still somehow owed over $5000 on it and the trade in value was only $900. Garbage auto sales. Garbage humans.

Really appreciated the fact that Jody was so helpful at Car Hop. He made sure that I had a chance to drive the vehicle I wanted...the first one didn't work out, but he came up with a "plan b" and found me one worked out great for my me and my kids. I received a recommendation from one of my best friends she loved her car and I will definitely recommend Car Hop to someone else as well... I really appreciated the great customer service!

Last week I unexpectedly found myself in immediate need of another car. James at Carhop was extremely helpful in my time of need. I did not feel pressured to buy, the way you do at the "big name lots". I actually enjoyed my car buying experience. Also the AC in my car was not working, we let James know this and he told us to get it fixed and carhop would pay to have it fixed. Overall I am very satisfied with my decision to go to Carhop. Thank you James for making our experience so much better than I thought it would be.

Don’t buy here, I filled a BBB complaint because business is so bad. Biggest regret go to a creditable car dealership instead, and also look at there BBB reviews. There horrible. I was told my lease was a year long well I logged into the account to find out it’s not, and they can’t keep there numbers straight. You will spend. Ore money fixing the car then it is worth, I’ve had mine for a few months and I have had to already replace the alternator the spark plugs the serpentine belt the radiator and coolant, and now heater. Plus had to replace right away tires and breaks and rotors and have it deep cleaned because it reaked of smoke. The windows have spoke staining also. Don’t go here you will only go into more debt. The best choice get a car cheap from here then g too a dealership and have them buy out the loan. I’m looking into that now as well. Please don’t do what I did and use car hop. Do your research and read the BBB website!, also I have now filed a complaint with the ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE. It’s been 48 hours no reply to the email. I have been working with Jeremy worst experience and when I ask for his supervisor I get told no I have to deal with him. So I filed the complaint with BBB and AG. Sense no one who is higher up can reach me. The owner states 24hiurs but it has been 48. Don’t do business with them.

I just had my car repossessed from non-payment due to an injury due to being car jacked. So the next day I go to carhop in vallejo based on info obtained from a friend. They showed me various cars. Each one was a mess. One you couldn't open from the inside the other had a lot of body damage, the other the brakes were bad. So I did get a car which was cool. My issue lies in the fact they are charging me 2x the worth of the car because my credit was bad. Also they have a payment center. Nobody is answering the phone. It says you can sign up for auto pay by entering your account number given to you on your paperwork. There is no account number on any paperwork. So now my payment will be seen as late because they didn't give me the stuff I needed. Never going to them again

I was there to test drive this morning hoping to upgrade to something newer. I bought my last car from them 3 years ago. The last car I bought was $10,000. . Last car I bought I gave $200.00 down for 3 years which I never was late, had auto pay, and never missed a payment. So when I came in today I was looking at the 2014 Ford Escape that was $12,000 , $2,000 more than the last one and you wanted $700.00 down. That's one of the main reasons people buy from you is because they don't have a lot of money to put down. So therefore it is clear to me that they do not care about returning customers. Therefore I will never recommend Car Hop to anyone. I was a satisfied customer until today.

Great experience. Bruce was very helpful and patient with us. We had a problem in the beginning, but that was not his fault and he tried everything he could to get us into a vehicle. He was very respectful and the process was very quick and easy. This is the 2nd time I've been to a carhop and I will definately recommend this place and most likely be back again.
