I have been working with Chris Smith and Capstone Mortgage since moving to MA in 2002 and we have worked together many times. I have the highest regard for Chris and her team. Chris Smith has been working with our company and personal property purchases since 2013. The first time I talked to her on the phone she was kind, comforting she explained everything in great details. I was directed in her direction to ask her for a second opinion and she helped me to understand things without any obligation. Stay away! Chris Smith screwed up my mortgage. First off she doesn't explain her fees unless you ask .... so ask. I found a few hunderd that she added "by mistake". Secondly, I found months later that she miscalculated and my mortgage payment fell short by a few hundred dollars. She really is not going to work hard for you, I promise. No matter who you go with crunch the numbers yourself. Most brokers are like Smith, once they have you they're just thinking about the next person instead of paying attention to your mortgage.

I am not even sure I can write enough words to tell you how amazing Chris Smith and her team is. I have used Capstone Mortgage twice now. The first time around my husband and I were first time home buyers, we were nervous, stressed, and rejected by other brokers. Chris assured me not to give up.
