Capitol Federal® Savings Bank Se 29th St, Topeka

Worst bank in Topeka, especially this branch. Rude terrible customer service tellers and their machinery doesn't work properly so 2 deposits and 1 change order takes over an hour! Worst bank with the worst employees. Do not recommend!!!

Horrible customer service. I took my 14yr old daughter in to open her first checking account. The women who helped us was very rude and not helpful. She told us she would need some form of picture ID. After going back home and finding a school ID she then told us we also need her SSN. I was so frustrated due to the fact she did not give us that info the first time we were in. It was clear she did not want to help us. I have banked with CapFed since I was a child, I have always been treated nice. But I'm writing this review because one, my child was the one whose feelings were hurt and two, this is not the first time this particular employee has been rude to either me or my husband. I was doing some shopping in KC that day so I decided to stop in an Overland Park branch. It was the exactly what I expected. They were overly friendly to my daughter and I made her feel special as she opened her account. And I'm hope I'm not getting anyone in trouble but I noticed they did not ask her for a ID. Only mine. Rarely do I use the 29th and Croco branch because of this lady. But I will now make it a point to avoid this location.

Terrible customer service in the debit card dept. Nicole and Sara were not helpful and Sara lied to me directly. They do not return calls and they don't open on time. I'll be closing my account with them and using commerce instead.

I was able to use my Cap Fed drive up and withdraw an amount over $2,000 in cash without any problems and without going inside the office. The Teller, Amy was very helpful and provided me with additional information I asked about on my account. This is SE 29th Street, Topeka, KS branch. Also at the SW Gage Blvd.Topeka, KS office I am so pleased with the excellent level of customer service Debi Stark provided in her role as Trust Department II Manager she simplified my entire Will and Trust execution, doing the initial contact with the attorney and guiding the process, thus saving me money and time.

Been in there several times. Worst customer service ever!!! I would rather drive 20 minutes to get to another bank then go here because I will be waiting 20 minutes to cash a check anyways. Everyone in my family knows to just drive else where, the convenience of location isn’t worth the trouble you have to go thru.
