Great place to find affordable instruments and used gear! The shop is clean and organized, not at all like I expected for a pawn shop- Capital Pawn is changing the game. Excited to check out their other locations.

Have had very pleasing experiences with both purchasing and loaning from their old location to new location same great service and friendly staff. I’m originally from the Portland area and since Covid I have unfortunately needed small loans but didn’t wanna ding credit so using items I already own has been best option for me. I can say truthfully & without being paid or anything of the sort to write this review these guys are by far giving the most generous and realistic offers for your items than any pawn shop in the Portland area. Sure interest is high, for a week loan it’s the same as 30 days but that’s everywhere unfortunately. Would be cool if a place was to lower interest based on the customer or at least offer more to buy your items than loan. Either way I’m thankful for the fair offers for my things that’s truly what will keep me coming back and referring friends and family, thanks again!

First time visit to a pawn shop. Very clean and well organized. Not at all like the ones in the movies. Didn't get anything but may come back now that I know what kinds of things they have. Friendly and cheerful staff.

Guns, guitars, and games! What more could you ask for in a pawnshop! I remember coming in when I was a kid and they COMPLETELY changed it. It feels a lot more inviting with the left side of the store (for jewelry) having its windows open. The people running the shop are ultra nice and will help with answering questions. 😁 10/10

Absolutely great service. Reasonable prices and I don’t feel like I’m pressured to spend a bunch of money. Their leeway set up is great and has helped me get a few things I’ve wanted for a really long time. 10/10 would recommend

Nice store, but really high prices on coins and bullion. They will not negotiate (what pawn shop doesn't negotiate?) as they say their prices are already competitive. They aren't on this stuff. Too bad, I wanted to buy all of their silver. That's ok... it's their site, they can do what they want.

They have been the #1 only honest and professional Pawn Shop by far in all of Oregon but the best in the business. They will get u the best price and know your items your trusted while on a PAWN. The associates that helped me are Cassandra also Sarah. They are amazing and Thank you so much....

Super friendly staff, found exactly what we need! Year and a half layer update: I've always picked up weird vibes going to pawn shops but this is by far the friendliest pawn shop I've ever been to. Amazing customer service, great atmosphere, and I can always find what I'm looking for.

Capital Pawn consistently provides me with the best customer service and has always given me the highest amount possible for items that I put on loan. Every experience is a good one at their establishment. Sarah and Andrew always go out of their way to help me. I recommend them to anyone looking for a fair deal.

Very clean and tidy, more so than any second-hand type store I've been in. Staff is friendly and very helpful. All together a great addition to the Capital Pawn chain! (The husky blonde fellow with a beard does occasionally smell of bratwurst)

I love these guys, they are helpful to the customers. As they tell me, " We don't want your stuff, we want to help.". Times are tough and everyone could use a boost every now and then. If your due dates pass they give courtesy calls and there are many other ways they will offer alternatives to work with you rather than just be the new owner of your things. They are always helpful and kind.

Maria was so kind an helpful. It was my first time at this shop and she made me feel like a customer, and not a "number" her kindness and warmth is an asset to this company thank you Maria for the no pressure, kind smile and demeanor! I will tell all my friends!

Amazing team !! Andrew - MarryAnn -Sarah helped make my bad day better just by there customer service ! They not only came through financially but Sarah had style and professionalism on her approach to sell me a trash pump similar to the one I was trying to pawn ——- I can’t say enough about McMinnville store !!! The manager Maria at capital pawn is wonderful. She has a positive outgoing energy. Super friendly and helped my husband and I as soon as we walked in the door. Highly recommend coming in and checking them out!

Capital Pawn has been great friends since I can remember!! I been coming here to the Salem store for many years. My experience has always been attentive and respectful!! All the staff are helpful and knowledgeable in all areas. I would recommend to all my friends and family to come here!! Owners are great!!

I just bought a brand new bass with an amp and cord. They said that the bass has never been played on and that they got it in yesterday. I am extremely lucky to have found this piece it is beautiful! The amp was only $80, as I assume will be the first to go out but it should be awhile till that happens. So excited for my set up, as I saved over $100! :) Thank you Capital Pawn!

Friendly staff and really great customer service. I got a couple loans there by pawning some items which would sell quickly if I were to let them go, and I was late on my payments but I just left a single voicemail asking them for a little more time and when I finally came in to try to retrieve the items, they had held on to them for me cuz they knew I really wanted them back, although at that point I was almost 2 weeks past the due date. Super _cool for a pawn shop in my opinion.

I bought a rototiller there. It was alot cheaper than buying a new one that will get used once a year.

Needed a nail gun. Went to capital pawn on a whim. Got a brand new nailer for half retail price. Great customer service every time I go there. Sarah and Andrew are always more than helpful. Definitely recommend.

I am very impressed with the customer service in this store. Very willing to answer all my questions. I am also happy they decided to help a local woman sell her jewelry on consignment to help with her cancer treatment. I think everyone should stop by, look at her selection while looking at all the other things in the store.

I come here regularly to get cash for things I don't have cash on hand for. They make the process quick and I'm out in roughly 5 minutes or less. Their terms are reasonable as well. I recommend the McMinnville location.

1/8/20 under new management. when Both employees whom were working while I went in were very helpful, They were knowledgable with the products and tools In store and the going prices. I highly recommend checking them out if you need a short term loan, Or are on the hunt for quality new and used tools at very reasonable prices.
