Capital One Bank Westheimer Rd, Houston

Initially, I was excited to have my bank so close to me, but soon found out this branch no longer operates as a full banking branch. It’s now just an ATM drive-through. The building is no longer operational.

They don't have any tellers to perform any actual bank transactions for you. It's an actual ATM bank so have your card ready to do the work for you.

DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH. I have been a Capital One customer for 7 years and Robert is one of the rudest, seemingly laziest, and least professional employees I have ever encountered. He does not appear to give a rat's behind about customers. My card was stolen and I urgently needed help depositing money and getting a temporary card. CapitalOne 360 Checking apparently also recently changed policy and now requires you to make a minimum overdraft payment on the last day of each month or they will hurt your credit score, accrue a penalty(?), and/or close the account. This was not the policy until recently and with a recently lost debit card just before month's end this location would NOT let me deposit cash. They claim Capital One will not issue temporary replacement cards before the full replacement cards arrived. Robert was noticably ill-informed about both Capital One's actual mail time policies for replacement cards as well as what the minimum payment amount, unspecified in my email, even was. Capital One, you almost lost me as a customer today, and I am still considering moving my checking accounts. After being impressed with you for years, this is some of the worst customer I've seen in my life. Please make this location ATM-only (as that's all it really is) and/or replace Robert.

They have no tellers, but I’m not complaining about that. What's worth mentioning is the way they handle the problem. It's kinda lack of thoughts and wasting their own and people's time. After telling me that I need to see a teller and that the ATMs wouldn't be able to do it, they give me a couple of pieces of paper showing the locations of other branches that have tellers. I appreciated it and the lady was polite but I would appreciate it more if on Google Map they put "no tellers" or something likes that so I and many others wouldn't waste time coming there.

I don’t understand the purpose of this bank if you only can use the atm. It makes no sense it’s not personal anymore. Barley have capital one banks open. I have an auto loan but can’t pay it at the bank with cash because you have to have a checking account to add money

No tellers, don’t waste your time. Can’t cash a check and the ATMs can’t read them well enough to even deposit them. They’ll just send you to another branch 6 miles away.

If you need an ATM, go to one - this bank is nothing more than that. They have no tellers. I don’t understand the point of having this big building with employees working in it, only to have a majority of bank functions unavailable. I had one of the employees tell me to deposit my check in the ATM, when I needed to cash it. I don’t have a debit card, so she redirected me to another location with actual tellers… now I’m spending money in a Lyft to a cash checking place.

This branch does not have tellers, so you only can do there the same you do in the app or ATM.

This is a terrible bank if you still get paid cash in anyway.. only way to make deposit is in target and the ATM machines NEVER work. No other convenient locations. Usually have to drive a long distance and you have to pray by the time you get there the machine is working or you just waisted a trip. It's a great bank if you get direct deposit or something similar and it's easy to open account and it's free. But nightmare for cash. I don't mind banking with another bank and paying $25 a month for convenience at this point.

Wish to recommend the costumer service in this branch capital One bank Royal oaks,miss Miriam and miss pooneh were Awesome treating customers real good response able to bringing smile to me and my wife on her Newly opening checking Account. My recommendation interested. The ill treatment got from the young lady at Capital one bank located on the Bellaire 5431 Bissonnet str time 3:45pm 11/16/21 . were not encouraging she was wired to customers as a result of her attitude proceeded to branch 11697 westheimer capital one were had a smile on my face.
