    Capital One Bank Reviews

I've been banking with Capital One since we moved to the area 15 years ago. I've always had good service at this bank. People are professional and friendly. For those complaining about the long lines. Yes, the lines are long and the lobby has been closed. There is a shortage of workers everywhere and I've seen long lines at every bank and I don't believe it's related to anything that this or any bank is able to control.

As soon as I get to the drive through the lady tells me it's going to take some time because we're helping customers in the front. Um lady it is not my fault, well it's been 20 mins and she is going back and forth. They should consider hiring someone... they're short staffed obviously

One star is generous in this case. This branch (Stacy Rd in Fairview-near Whole Foods)use to be pretty good when they first opened but had since deteriorated into one of the worst bank branches I’ve ever had to deal with. Currently you can’t go into the bank for anything. Therefore there is usually a long line of cars going to ONE window for all transactions which makes it impossible to get to the two ATM machines. I waited 30 minutes the other day behind one car. I was finally able to back out and leave. I tried calling to see what the hold up was and there was no number that took me to a human being. This is a terrible branch with very poor customer service. I found going a few miles down 75 to the branch on Spring Creek is the best option. You get in and get out. Good service.

It’s Tuesday and people want to go home . One hour waiting just to make a payment is ridiculous. The atms are available but have to wait in the line for window to get to the atm .

One star is generous if I could leave Zero I would……This bank has gone to crap… no locations near me open inside within the Dallas,Tx metroplex , the majority of locations have closed down completely. I’m currently in the drive thru 11 cars deep with no movement. I received a PPP loan and this bank location froze my accounts for 5months and then decided to release my funds after investigating the loan to find no fraud, but still have my debt card locked… “Inconvenience” should be the new motto!!!! Closing my accounts today and taking my business elsewhere

This bank refuses to reopen its lobby for walk up service with the excuse of “COVID.” So your forced to use there drive up window, and they only have ONE service window. Theres alway at least 3 or more cars in line and each car takes 10minutes.

Every time I go to this branch the lobby is closed and there is only one lane for a drive up teller. It typically takes minimum 30 minutes to get through that line. I recommend going to the branch on 75 and spring creek in Plano. Much faster service and their lobby is open.

    Response from the owner

Hey there, Jason—This isn't the experience we want at all. Rest assured, we'll get the right eyes on your review. ^VS

Don’t waste your time trying to change your name at capital one. It’s a waste of time. They make you go through so many step it’s ridiculous. They want a tax form, that has my maiden name on it becasue taxes haven’t been done yet. But they won’t accept it becasue it has my maiden name on it. It’s easier just to close your account and switch banks. Less time and paperwork.

I’m giving this bank a 1 star review solely on drive thru experience and not staff as they have always been nice. The wait for drive thru is unbearable and going inside is not an option as it’s closed. Each car is at the window for at least 15 mins sometimes more. Inside needs to open for services and they need to get another drive thru open. As I’m typing this there are over 8 cars in line. Something’s gotta change.

When the line for the teller is long it’s impossible to get to the ATM’s. This is extremely inconvenient especially for the handicapped.
