Capital One Bank N Hwy, Covington

You close the branch on 190 in front of walmart then close the branch on Collins on Saturdays but do not update the website. I was at the branch with four other people trying to figure out when i can make a deposit for my company

On three separate occasions I’ve had issues depositing cash in the atm at this location. Each time they told me it’s an issue I need to take up with the atm company and give me a number to call. I don’t see MY deposited money for about two weeks until they “investigate” the issue. What if that was all the money I had to survive on?! This atm is the only one in my two years of being a capital one account holder that I’ve had issues with.

Capital One has gotten progressively worse over the past few years, and is in danger of losing my business and this review being revised to one star.

I purchased a cashiers check for a car purchase. The car was sold before we arrived and I returned to the branch I purchased the check from with receipt attached to return to my account. The teller told me to write “Not used for purpose intended” which I did. I wrote it on the FRONT of the check. She never instructed me where to write it so I wrote it on the front. She said I destroyed the check. The check was not destroyed. It was written upon. I was forced to have a affidavit signed and notarized for a fee and then upon returning to the bank told the money would not be deposited into my account until the following day because I originally purchased it on a Saturday. Is this general practice? The check was not destroyed or lost. It was returned intact with receipt attached.

The only reason they get a one star is because there’s not an option for none. Worst Bank I’ve ever been to and I say this from experience as I have attended this bank with work for the last seven years. The staff is unprofessional the bank drive-through is always super slow. And I don’t think that there is a dress code to boot. They look just as unprofessional as their attire. If you have the option please don’t use this bank save yourself the trouble.

Lobby is often closed due to lack of staff. They claim it's a COVID issue but if that was the case the lobby would always be closed. Car lines take forever. It's even worse in Mandeville. Absolutely ridiculous.

Seems as if the teller I went to Stereotyped me. Because I’m BLACK. Calling the home office to get a verification code for a withdrawal. I feel as if it’s my money no matter where it comes from and who deposited it should not matter. And I sat in there about 20 minutes to not get money. Will NEVER visit that branch ever again.

Unsatisfied! The bank doesn't have financial advisors staffed to assist customers with large loans.via home loans or vehicle loans. Sorry we can't help you, everything is online. But there are questions that need answers. And we can't wait 7 to 10 days to get a answer. Even then we are left with more questions. Very disappointed.

Closing branches is not helpful. Banking with them is nothing like their commercials. I don't have much reason to go inside but the lines inside are always long.

The people are very friendly, but this might be the most inefficient bank branch imaginable. With 4 open lanes at a random time of day (not during lunch), I regularly wait upwards of 30-45 minutes before even getting to the tube. It’s insane how a branch run so poorly can still exist.
