California Check Cashing Stores Bear Valley Rd, Victorville

Would give zero stars if possible. Recently they almost entirely changed out the staff and the new people are slow, rude and use any excuse to deny serving people instead of taking alternate proofs. Walking in the door now feels like stepping into the DMV instead of a service based loan office. I hate it. Update: things have gotten a lot better since my original review. The process is much faster and the current staff have gotten a lot better, and the system seems to be better too.

This company went against the agreed contract date for the loan to be paid back. They put the checks into customers bank accounts EARLY (Because they knew people were getting their money earlier since it was around new years) without notifying anyone. Not even a phone call. Leaving us with no knowledge or opportunity to prevent this from happening. We came into the store to pay back the loan and reborrow and that is when they tell me this happened. Being the first time hearing about this and of course angry about the situation they said they would void the check in hopes to resolve the issue at hand. And I proceeded to payback my loan and reborrow it. Well come maybe 3-4 days later my bank account goes negative $300 because they still processed the check instead of canceling it like they said they would. And the of course you have the overdraft fees added to it so that makes it negative -$335. So they got paid twice. I did a complaint and for over 14 days my bank account was held up in negative. I had a credit card payment due and was unable to even make that and was late because my bank account was held up for over 2 weeks because of this companies mistake. Which they took their time resolving. And all along the way the employees had complete attitudes and were completely rude and negative the whole time about the situation even after knowing they were at fault. Long story short after waiting 14 days the company says they will refund the money by the mail which means an even longer wait. But then, say they will not pay for the overdraft fees that I wouldnt even have in the first place if they did not go AGAINST the contract without notifying me. Now I'm responsible for $35 for something I had no knowledge of, and shouldnt even be responsible to have to pay for. This company Is ran by complete idiots if this is how they think a proper business is supposed to be ran especially with contracts and money being involved.

Absolutely awful customer service. They treat you like an animal here. Dont let these monsters profit off your hard earned money when they treat you like scum.

Will never go back to this place made me feel like I was committing fraud while trying to cash a work related check (401k)during this covid-19 situation .....felt racially profiled with the multiple questions that were being asked about my check they want 5 references and 140$ to cash it and expects you to sit and wait for them to call all 5 references I have never in my life heard of anything like this just because you have never saw a check sent thru 401k does not make it fake ....never again will step foot in a place that makes you feel like your hard earned money is fraudulent took my check to Walmart and cashed with no problem for 3$ Thanks to Walmart

Made me feel as if I was cashing a counterfeit check, The person behind the counter was extremely rude to me and I'm pretty sure I was racially profiled at this point. I'll never forget my experience here.Won't be coming back 😌.....

The wait times are 2 hours on the first of the month just to repay or borrow... they have 3 people working there, but only 2 are actually helping customers.... will not recommend!

Called to confirm services... Took the time to drive there... Services were misrepresented. Waste of time.
