California Check Cashing Stores S Winchester Blvd, San Jose

This place wasted two and a half hours of my time just to refuse to cash the check. Even though the check was written in Santa Clara, by Progressive, it was a check from my insurance when my car got totaled out. They won't cash it because the bank wrote on it a few letters and they said that it looks like we've already cashed it even though they would have easily been able to verify that if they would have called. Totally incompetent and rude.

I don’t get why people are hating on this place. I cash my checks here every week and while there is a small wait I rather wait a few minutes than a few days for the bank to check it clear. Everyone is nice to me from the moment I walk in. They are super helpful and the place is a bit hot but the store is facing the sun and it's not that bad.

Worst customer service that I have gotten in a long time. I have been a customer for over 2 years and never had a problem. Until last month. I had a payday advance there and it was due on a Thursday, I get a courtesy call from one of the girls and I told her to hold my check until Saturday because by the time I get off work Thursday and friday they are closed. Come to fine out, they deposit my check anyway on that Friday. I called corporate to file a complaint and nothing happened. They weren't helpful at all. I even went into the store to give them one last chance. I asked if I could hold the loan and put the date for Friday. ONE DAY after I get paid. Spoke to the manager, and nothing. Never again.

Worst place ever very incompetent employees. I went in to pay my payday loan on the 21st of January ive been doing this for a few months now. I paid my Dec loan and got another one that should have been due on the 29th of February. Well to my surprise they deposited a check to my account on the 29th of January which overdrawn my account by 200. I went in and they said I signed the contract yes that was my fault because I just signed and they could not help me. Why the hell would I get a loan for 8 days and have to pay 50 extra dollars plus my overdraft fees. So make sure you look over anything you sign because they are crooks. Dont go here worst place ever there are other locations near by with better customer service. 😠

The worst customer service ever given by Rachel working on Saturday, 05.04.2019. Seriously, if you can’t be nice don’t work in the customer service industry. To be in a situation where you have to come to a place like this and be treated like trash - makes you not want to come back. This business is based on returning customers and word is mouth. I went to California Check cashing on Winchester cash a large check. The lady who helped me Shirley what's the most professional hard-working honest individual I've ever met. It took 3 hours to get things straight with me to cash check I had. I noticed at least seven people in line up until closing at 3 not only did she handle all clients with kindness and as well as very polite answering the phone or answering any of the questions that people are asking not once did she ever lose her temper he was never rude always handling herself with professionalism the store is very lucky to have a lady like that working for that people like her are hard 2 come across props to you Shirley you're one hell of a lady

Worst customer service in a financial institution. Reply to owner. Oh trust me. You have my information. Because one of your unprofessonal corporate employees called me at my work place to harass me about my review asking for me by first and last name. All calls are recorded at my work and I will be contacting the better business bureau. P.S You can get better customer service across the street at Check Into Cash next to Safeway!

never coming here again! I needed to cash a check and ended up walking out. It's super hot in the waiting area , 4 people were working & only 1 person was actuality helping. The other lady finally started helping other customers & was extremely rude . Don't understand what all the attitude was for shouldn't work in customer service if you can't be nice

I've Been A Customer For 6 Yrs All The Employees Were Kind To Me Every Time I Walked In. And When They Were With A Customer For A While They Would Apologize. Keep Up The Good Work

Poor servace there was a black guy that was helping me and he send me to someone els i think he did not was to help me and went to help someone els i think he did not want to help me because i was mexican but he helped a white person and the maniger and she did not do anything to salve the situation.
