From start to finish, Buchanan Automotive was excellent to work with. Jason Shrader was simply excellent. It was a very different environment at the dealership. Quite positive. There were salespeople, clients, and brand-new trucks everywhere, which is not normal given the shortage of new vehicles. It was obvious why they were so busy. I was pleased with the people, the selection, and the deal I received, especially given the current state of the auto market. In terms of sales, I recommend both Buchanan Automotive and Jason Shrader.

This was a new kind of experience in the rain. Shaft was very helpful in every aspect. From guiding us in to our parking spot when we got there, to answering all of my 1100 questions very well. Made it easy to do a deal. Joshua was training with him an it was his very first day, think he will be a great salesman with someone like Shaft training him. As a young female I dread buying vehicles, insert horror stories, but Dennis as our Sales Consultant made it a great experience! He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and incredibly accommodating even to our pup who traveled with on our 2.5 hour road trip to the dealership. I was less impressed with the sales manager who initially priced the vehicle $5,000 more than advertised but somehow knew the correct price of once we questioned him. 🤨 Overall I am happy with my purchase and would highly recommend working with Dennis!

Great Team. They are very professional and good to work with. Overall you can get a good deal on a new truck here. They have a business model and execute it well. Understand you may pay more than the internet price. It is stated in the price you will need to finance. Cash price is higher. Also there are add ons. Understand these before you spend your time. In my opinion these assigns are nearly worthless to the customers. Mine were prices at $1900. I estimate dealer profit at 85%. As I said overall vehicle still a good deal and overall experience is good. I recommend

As others have stated, their advertising is suspect. I inquired about 2 Rogues listed on their site for a price too good to be true. Set up an appointment to go see them. An hour before my appointment, while I was already on the way, I got a phone call. Both cars sold late last night, but come in, we have others we can show you. I wasn't interested in others, so I didn't go to the appt. The next day I got a text asking how the appointment was. I thought something was fishy so I asked if the rogues were still available, I didn't make the appointment. Why they sure are, when can you make it in? Funny, I said I was told they were sold. No, no, they're here. When I gave the name of who called me, I got a stock response that inventory changes daily and it takes 24 hours to update the website. It's now 4 days and they're still on the site. Oh, and the prices have dropped again. So the website has been updated. Just beware of their advertising. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Waste of time! This is the first time i’ve written a bad review on google . These guys really upset me. Found them from a facebook add. Brianna called and called me for days to come check out the vehicle so finally I agreed to see it. Minutes before leaving I called Brianna to confirm the vehicle was available before I drove 2 hours to purchase the discounted Sierra 1500 AT4. Once we arrived we drove around the lot and were not able to locate the truck. A salesmen came out and was immediately pushy about appraising my truck. I demanded to see the truck I was interested in before we did anything. An uncomfortable half hour went by before Alex the sales manager finally said the truck was sold minutes before we arrived. I doubt the truck existed. Seemed like a classic Bait and switch move. They tried talking me into buying the same model truck but it was used and cost $11,000 more.. I was able to get them to fill my truck up with diesel for wasting my time. Good Luck

Great first time experience buying a car. Chris made sure I was happy. Unfortunately after leaving the dealership and less than a week later, my 2018 Ford Focus 26k miles was already having transmission issues and was charged an extra $2000 for “mandatory” additions to get a powertrain warranty. Had the car in the shop twice now and it’s still not driving right. No way the dealership wouldn’t have known of this issue with them test driving the car.

Overall great experience! Shafayat was rhere once we arrived and atuck with us through the mutiday process! Handled everything perfectly and really made the process simple, quick and overall an awesome experience. Came in Saturday to look for a larger vehicle for our growing family, found a vehicle that my wife loved but wasnt quite at our price range. Shopped around and got some bank and credit union offers and (couldn't be approved till mid-week with the holiday) Brought our offers in, showed them, and they worked with capital one to get us to where we needed to be payment wise, interstate rate wise and even provided us with a better down payment option than we had available. I have gone through this process before a few times and by the far smoothest I have experience. Highly reccomend Buchanan as well as Shafayat for your next car buying experience.

Dan Langley so called manager is by far the worst employee I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. This guy will belittle you and make you feel so bad for trying to get a deal and acts like you are stealing money from him. I will never buy anything from this place as long as this guy works here. By far the worst customer service ever. They really need to reevaluate their managers here and deal with this guy. Rude nasty doesn’t care about the customer at all. He came in while I was there yelled at my friend and told them look this is the deal I’d you don’t like it get out so disrespectful. Then goes out of the office and talks bad about customers. Stay away from this place.

Drove an hour to buy a car after making an appointment 5 days in advance. Apparently, 15 minutes before I get to the dealership for my appointment, they decide to call and let me know they sold the vehicle I was going to purchase and decided to try and sell me a similar one at at 110% higher price. Waste of 4 hours of my time.

be careful they racked so much more in *fees* during paperwork and will tell you taxes will do that . the purchase was just this past December , To buy a truck a few months back and be 15k upside down compared to blue book , black book , etc . I had to replace the brakes right after purchasing it . Water stains in the passenger side rear corner of headliner during heavy rains it leaks . Delaminating u-connect Screen . 2018 Ram sport purchased just this past December with 30k miles on it 53k$ once all said and done . Guess I should of let them raise that price some more for the extended warranty :/ Only person to blame is ultimately me. What a fool I was .

Daniel Wilder was the salesman that worked with us to get our vehicle. Daniel greeted us when we got to the lot and after telling him what vehicle we were looking for, worked with his team leader to find it. He went over the vehicle and showed us everything from the hood to the tailgate. We took the vehicle for a test drive and Daniel continued to explain the vehicle. He and his team leader worked up an acceptable offer that both of us could agree on. Management assisted with the documents while the team leader worked on the registration and title application. The team leader went over all of the documents for us to sign and we drove the vehicle home that night. While driving home, an issue was discovered. I contacted Daniel, at 830pm, told him the issue, and was advised to contact the service department the next day. I contacted the service department, was advised to bring the vehicle in, and the issue was resolved about 15 minutes after I got there. This experience was very good. Daniel and his team did an outstanding job and we will share our experience with others. Thanks.

My husband and I out of the blue stopped by Buchanan Automotive with our mustang. We planned to trade it in but wasn’t sure what kind of deal we would get. I have to say they made our entire car sales experience the best, and we’ve been shopping before at other places. They made a deal on our mustang that couldn’t be beat and worked with our credit that I will say is little to be desired at other places. We will definitely be going back for another vehicle or possibly our truck one day in the future. Loved our salesman too. So chatty and that definitely makes the time go along so much faster. My experience at Buchanan was absolutely the best car buying experience I've ever had. Kareem was fantastic throughout the entire process despite my wife and I being amazingly indecisive. Instead of being pushy and trying to upsell us he asked us what we wanted out of a vehicle and made recommendations based upon our feedback. Despite scheduling conflicts on my end, he was kind enough to stay after closing the following day so that I could finish the paperwork for the vehicle we eventually decided upon. In addition Alex gave us a great trade offer and was able to give us a price on the vehicle that we couldn't turn down. All in all I would genuinely recommend Buchanan, and these two gentlemen in particular, to anyone in need of a vehicle.

Good Afternoon, I hope all is well with you and your crew.  I just wanted to stay thank you for all the work you and your fellow employees did for me last night.  Staying late is probably always a little stressful and attempting to get through all the paperwork while trying to finalize this sale just added to it. Thank You! This venture into the truck fully took off in early November when I got the notice that the Ford Bronco I ordered was finally in production.  Started to get cold feet on it.(Again) The more I researched, the more issues I found on them.  After talking to my wife, we decided it was the best interest of our family to pass on this vehicle.  We ordered it for one last manual transmission vehicle, before the manuals go extinct. During this new truck search, we probably contacted more Ford, Chevrolet and GMC dealership than I could count.  A good portion had limited stock, over my price range or needs, charging over MSRP, or just not willing to give up anything to make a deal. By some random chance, I find a dealership 172 miles away. After an exhausting 3 weeks search, I contacted your dealership again in the afternoon and quickly went over the numbers, fees and additional costs and decided to make the 3 hours plus trip down there on a spur of the moment decision. In the end it was worth it. Plenty of time during this trip, I was second guessing my decision to come down. We got home about 100am this morning from the trip to Buchanan Auto. The trip started around 230pm and ended at 100am.  At this point it was definitely worth the trip and the time was well spent. It was a very long day and stressful day for us yesterday, which technically ended today. Anyway when I woke up this morning,  looked outside and it was a sigh of relief. We got our truck. We bought a 2020 Silverado. Our customer service we received from someone contacting me from the internet and calls were great. Everything was set up for us to arrive after work. The truck was waiting for us to test drive. We wanted to see another truck after showing up. There was no pressure to decide on what we wanted. In the end we bought the truck that brought us in there. Ryan Roth was young but very good at his job. He has alot of informed information, and when he didnt have the answer, he had great people to get him the right answers. Would recommend the dealership and Ryan.

Had a wonder salesman, Shafayat, who was very generous with his time and efforts. Although disappointed that the vehicle I originally went to purchase was sold and they couldn't give the same rebates/discounts on other vehicles, I was still able to purchase a vehicle that I'm happy to own. The managers were pleasant and worked within my budget to the best of their abilities. Detailing on my vehicle was less to be desired but I guess you can't complain when it's 10:00pm.

We drove 3 hours to see one of the 2021 Silverado Trail Boss trucks they had on special. We were met by Seth and he was very polite, showed us the truck we were interested in. We went over what we liked and didn't like about the truck. Once we decided we were interested we spoke to a sales manager, Jason. We finalized the price we wanted to pay, and he came back to us with a very fair interest rate. If you do your research and know what you want and how much you want to pay the deal will go through quickly and painlessly, like ours. This was my first time going to Buchanan automotive, and also my first time buying a Chevy Silverado. Originally had an appointment scheduled with a sales manager, but was greeted by a salesman Dennis outside. Working with Dennis was great. I was highly impressed with his knowledge, patience, and knowledge of paperwork for only being in his position for a few months. I am glad that we were able to work with Dennis and would recommend him to anybody. As for the sales manager that was helping us I did not like working with him. I felt like he was just trying to make a sale instead of working with us. I also was also not impressed with his professionalism. Overall it was a good experience at Buchanan automotive.

Salesman Mike James was outstanding. Took care of us and did not try to up sale us. Now the finance manager on the other hand seemed to only care about tacking on bs fees. We almost walked away but Mike was such a good guy we didn’t want to penalize him for his manager shortcomings. All in all Mike saved the sale and if I did ever use this dealer again it would only be because of their top notch salesperson.

Service was done on time and at a fair price. Lifetime free state inspection (if you purchased your car from Buchanan) a definite plus! Everyone was pleasant and able to answer my questions.

I went in to trade in a truck I still owed alot on. Im reestablishing my credit so its bad. Jason S. And Alex worked for hours literally to get me into a new truck. Jason spent along time with me and never rushed me and made me his top priority. They paid off my old truck and with incentives and bonuses I didn't lose on my trade in truck. This was worth the 4 hour drive time and like 3 or 4 or 5 in the office.. it was a good experience for me.

My initial experience was less than desirable. Transport of the vehicle I had bought were a mess. Fault to GM on that issue. The dealership was terrible with pass on of information. Prices were great. Service was not. After all of the back and forth, Tyrese Campbell was EXCELLENT to deal with. If you buy a car from here, talk to him. He wasn’t pushy whatsoever. We had no intentions of buying a car until we met Kareem and Xavier (sorry for miss spelling). They were absolutely the most nicest gentlemen we've met. They really made our experience easy and fast especially with two women walking in. They sat and worked with us with lots of patience and ended up getting what we wanted as in price range. We are extremely happy with what we got, in such short notice. They constantly asked if we wanted refershments, and checked up on us in between paperwork. Not only were they great salesmen, the atmosphere was very relaxing and upbeat. We felt very comfortable and relax knowing we were stress going into this, I mean buying any cars is a stressful process. We are highly grateful we went here. Came in this morning thinking I was no where near eligible for a 2022 car, so I was planning on a 2017, but left there with a brand new 2022 Chevy! Amanda was so unbelievably helpful through the whole process and made it the easiest car purchase I’ve had! I have never experienced such treatment when car buying as I have with this place. I had been in contact with the dealership, sales manager, & car salesman. They had all my info ran & knew I was making a 5 hour drive to get a specific vehicle. I was over halfway there with cash in hand to get a call to let me know they already sold it out from under me. Then they said they could order me that one to have it for me in 10-12 weeks after they sold it out from me! Not only did I waste time, but I wasted gas as well. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know. I will make sure everyone knows what kinda place this is, how you do people who would've been loyal customers, & to never buy a thing from here!!! You've lost the business of someone who would've been a repeat customer for life even with the 5 hour drive I had each way. Thanks for being so helpful to me and letting me drive all those miles, all that time, and use all that gas for an absolute waste!

Update 5/5/22 After seeing my initial review, Buchanan very quickly reached out to apologize and resolve the issue. They picked up our vehicle and gave my wife a loaner to use while they fixed the issue. Unfortunately there was a part on backorder so we ended up with a loaner for a little more than 2 weeks (absolutely not Buchanan's fault, it's just a product of what the COVID shutdowns did to the supply chain). During that time, my wife had a need for a vehicle with the same passenger space as our Acadia. Buchanan once again brought a loaner to her to accommodate. We now have our Acadia back and look forward to smooth sailing from here. I regret using a public forum to air out my grievances but I'm thankful that Buchanan cared enough about my frustration to go above and beyond what they were required to do to make it right for my wife. Many thanks to all involved, especially Mike and Rob. Initial Review: My wife purchased a '19 Acadia here. Shortly after their techs took it in for MD state inspection a message came on the dash related to a faulty coolant sensor. Took it up for service (90min round trip) and they broke the sensor while removing it, dropping a piece inside the engine in the process. Of course this resulted in them having the vehicle longer than anticipated to correct it. After we got it back, the same fault code returned within 10 days or so and now there is a coolant leak. Took it up for service a second time. They replaced the same sensor and fixed the leak. Again within 10 days of service the same code is back. Frustrating results from a dealer with certified service experts.

Service dept. Rob, Dave are on top of there game. Mechanic Chris is very knowledgeable on the New products Chevy offers. They took the stress away quickly. Great job gentlemen!

Yesterday my girlfriend and I took an hour drive to Waynesboro to see some of these great deals they have at Buchanan Automotive Group. We were not disappointed and drove off with a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. Our sales person Ben and his team lead Alex were great to work with. Ben did a great job showing us multiple suvs and giving us so many details about each one. No pressure sale is why we made the deal.

I want to Buchanan to trade it my truck for a newer truck. Once I pulled in to the parking lot a nice worker showed me where to parked and open the door and got me the help I needed. He name was shaft great guy. He help me with everything if I ha a question he answer it. He was a big help.

I recently gave this dealership a very bad review. I did that in haste as I was disappointed and should have first talked with them. I have spoken with Anna, Rob, and Alex who have 100% completely resolved my issue. I purchased a new 2022 Silverado 1500 Trailboss Crew Cab on Saturday and the place was packed! During my deal there were four (4) other Silverado's sold. The Retail installment Sale Contract was missing some money and I do have to say that Xavier was "swamped" and it was missed inadvertently due to the volume of customers making deals! Alex completely rectified this issue in a matter of minutes! I would highly recommend this dealership for great discounts ( which are unheard of in today market) and an absolute low price for all people. My daughter is in the market for a new Silverado and although they are 250 miles from our home we will soon be making the trip. Thank you all for your help with this matter.....

I’m always on a time crunch and they made everything fast enough for busy day. Having bought a few cars in my life, waiting 4-5 hrs to complete a transaction is hard to deal with. It was a nice change to that.

I bought a 2022 white Chevy Silverado trail boss. At the end of the sale someone took the truck outback to be washed and then brought it back out. Now.. the truck I was buying had the backseat storage compartment. Before they took the truck outback... I placed some items in the storage From my trade in... I just Went out to go get something out of it an hour ago....and this truck doesn't even have the backseat storage..my lawyer is dealing with this.. I hope they find that truck and retrieve my items First

Please make sure you double check the paperwork and read before you sign on the dotted line. The sales price in the sales agreement was more than the MSRP, they did not apply a coupon discount, and the “complimentary” warranty comes at a hefty price. The referral bonus is like the repeat customer deal that was promised, didn’t see get it. This was my first brand new vehicle purchase, and shame on me for entrusting the experts who sell cars every day to get the paperwork correct.

This place is a joke the music that they play is ridiculously loud and obnoxious. They get asked to turn it down especially for the elderly people who complain about it all the time. I am a former employee and I was fired after coming back from being sick. I had a doctors note that said I didn’t have to be back until 03/23/2022. I decided to go back early because I hate being off and I needed to make money. They came off and said that I was not a right fit for the company. I understand it’s a at will state but how are you going to fire someone who came back willing to work after having health issues.

Purchased my first new truck last night here. I inquired about the truck online and Jennifer reached out to me quickly and was very helpful. I can’t say thanks enough to Ace and Xavier they were so helpful and gave an amazing first time car buying experience, my credit wasn’t the best and I wasn’t sure if I was gonna get financed but they assured me that they’ve seen it all and were able to help me find the car I wanted, They got me approved without running my credit through the Mud with inquiry after inquiry. Ace had all this taken care of before I even got to the dealership because I live an hour away and have a hectic schedule but Ace accommodated and helped me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable unlike other places I’ve tried where they come off like they just want to take your money. Xavier helped me get a deal on my old trade in that was unbelievable and Ace was with me every step of the way in explaining everything, and to say he went above and beyond is an understatement. The sales manager understood the terms I was willing to deal with and executed on those terms perfectly. Update on original review: Mark with Buchanan reached out to me very quickly after posting my concerns below. He listened to all my concerns and apologized. He offered to make it right which I will not go into detail on. It definitely changed my outlook on Buchanan, while I was not looking for anything back from them, I could tell how much he truly did care about how the customers were treated and doing the right thing. Everyone knows mistakes happen. I appreciate that they saw my concern and reached out immediately to rectify it and that’s why I changed my review. They clearly misdiagnosed a check engine light with 16 codes for 02 sensor issues (coming very soon after a large warranty motor rebuild at this store) by just saying it needs 2 new 02 sensors for $400+ dollars. The day after getting it back the light came right back on with all the same codes. When I brought it back, they said a wire running near the motor to the 02 sensors was cinched causing the issues and it would be $140 to repair. When I questioned 1) wouldn’t you think this most likely was done during the motor repair? it was dismissed off as ‘not able to prove that’ then 2) why did I pay $400 for 02 sensors when that clearly wasn’t the case when the next day the codes came back on? Or they didn’t test drive it after the repair because it didn’t take long for the codes to turn right back on. The manager in the service department Andy got an attitude saying “so your saying you don’t want to pay for the work we did?” I then said I’m just asking why I would be charged twice for them to fix something they most likely caused. Then he literally tossed the keys onto the desk in front of me and said ok have a good day. I have never gone on to leave a review for any business before but this was one of the rudest experiences I’ve encountered in a place trying to then turn around and sell you vehicles. I’ve been looking to upgrade and I can tell you I will never step foot in this garage again and it’s pretty much fully due to the service center here. If it wasn’t for the fact that this all started from a Chevy warranty issue, I would stick to smaller garages for any work. They clearly care very little about their customer service here.

Stoped at Buchanan to look at the trucks I said out loud to my friend to bad Gm tucks have such ugly interiors well turns out 22 model trail boss had an upgraded interior. Jason Shrader walked up to to me and said take a look at this truck here I’ll grab the keys. Jason was friendly about showing me the tuck I told him if it’s here tomorrow I’ll come in and buy it. Next day I stoped in he grabbed the keys right away and said let’s go for a drive which I loved the truck. I had my mind made up before I test drove the truck but i have to say this is the best purchase I’ve ever made. Today I bought my second work truck from Buchanan Chevrolet. The sales staff is great, especially Caiti and Xavier who did a great job getting the numbers where I needed them to be. They worked with me without hesitation. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Buchanan Automotive sold me a car with bad rotors. When I took the vehicle back the following work day to have them check they told me they didn't have parts to schedule to come back the next day they would have parts. I came back the next day as scheduled. The technician didn't have any record of my issue. No parts for my type of vehicle. I waited an hour till someone asked me to come back the next day because no one knew what was going on with my vehicle or wait till someone came in. After another hour of waiting and I find out they want to just clean the surface of the rotors. Another hour passes and they had to replace all 4 rotors. So they told me they didn't have parts come back the next day they would have the parts to fix. Was told they didn't order parts, went to try a different solution then had to get parts delivered short notice. Very unhappy with the service to sell me a car with bad rotors and then to not be prepared when they said they would be.
