I would not recommend this mortgage company to my worst enemy. Never heard from Nancy directly no matter how many emails or texts saying we’d hear from her. She never answered phone calls and her assistants had no idea what was going on and would give false information rather than getting us in touch with Nancy. Did not have a rate lock until less than 2 weeks prior to closing. Had to accept a higher interest rate because they sat on our paperwork for weeks, and we did not want to lose our house. This list goes on, and we were essentially backed into a corner to use them. The whole process was laughable at how unprofessional Nancy and her team was. The only person who had some form of clue as to what was going on, and that would speak to us in a timely manner was our loan processor, Tracy. However one good person does not compensate for the other members of this team. This is an embarrassment of a mortgage provider and they should reevaluate the way they do things and treat people.

I had used Brookhollow Mortgage in the past and recently was going to purchase a new home so I reached out to them and nothing. Never heard from them. Very unresponsive. Look for better service elsewhere as they don't seem to care about their clients past or present.

Very sketchy! Told we had to change lenders 45 days prior to closing, however we didn’t get closing information until 30. Then was asked to make a decision on the loan in a hour. They overcharged us and blackmailed us into using them as it was either use them or lose the house. They also charged points when they weren’t needed. Told you get a credit at closing yet they just overcharge you and pretend they actually credited you. TERRIBLE AND BEWARE! We have purchased many homes and NEVER been treated like this!

Nancy and all the staff at Brookhollow Mortgage Co. made our home buying experience painless and stress-free. We were always told what to expect each step of the way. All of our questions or concerns were answered promptly (within 24 hours). We highly recommend their services. Thank you Nancy, Nahom, Lisa, Anna, and Carol! You all were great!

It was one of the worst experiences in purchasing house. I don’t recommend them as a lender. They don’t respect your time. I called time more than 10 times and send several email, but never got response in time. PLEASE DON’T USE THEM!!

This was my 4th time buying a home and by far the worst experience ever! My loan officer Michael was friendly and highly responsive but at the end of the day we closed 2 days late which took a decent financial toll and because it was all rushed at the last minute all of my VA entitlements we’re not even added to the sale so I didn’t have to wait even longer to close. This was an extremely stressful experience!

Worst Mortgage service I have ever used. they try to charge you high interest rates and communication with customer is poor

Not responsive on my questions and as a new owner to a new build, it was not great to hear the increase in my mortgage due to taxes on the day of signing.

From the first introduction Nancy and her team welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable. Any questions I had no matter how small they answered. I am a night owl and it was funny because alot of the team would still be working late as well. I appreciate them so much as they made this very easy and gave me great options. My builder Gehen homes has them as perferred lender. My Gehan sales rep told me day one going with the preferred lender will make the process smoother and i will get the best discounts. I was skeptical. I did all my paperwork never heard from Nancy in 4 months. Her Assisnt Kat is just as incompetent and makes excuses to cover up Nancy every time you call. If I’d gone with them I’d probably never close in on time of lost tons of money. Please avoid this group at all cost.

We had trouble deciding between a 4 and a 5 (would have liked the ability to go somewhere in between). On the plus side, they were extremely responsive to our inquiries and questions. We always got a response and almost always the same day (or the next business day if sent after hours or on a weekend). In the end, the 4 was the ultimate decision only because we were not prepared for the amount of personal information they requested we upload (document count exceeded 50 total). Putting large amounts of that type info on the internet made us quite uncomfortable, and although they did provide reasonable rationale for why they requested it, we are already receiving lifetime credit monitoring courtesy of another company who assured us that our info was safe with them ... only it wasn't.
