BrightStar Credit Union Taft St, Pembroke Pines

I am impressed with this branch. As a former employee of a credit union, my standards are high. I got through on the phone right away, had a smooth shared branch transaction. Both employees were super nice. The next time I have a loan need, I’m defining going to look at their rates.

The branch manager and the associate of the Pembroke Pines location were impossible to work with. They were not understanding of our situation, and wouldn’t allow us to open an account for my spouse without several additional documents. When we went to a different branch, they told us what we needed to bring and we did bring those documents with us, this was the only location open on Saturday for walk-in. Please be aware and stay away from the Pines location!!

After reviewing a few credit unions, I was lead to Bright Star through the grace of God.. I was privy to have a wonderful young lady by the Name of Jenay Major to assist me. This young lady was very knowledgeable about all the products, extremely articulate. I was mostly impressed with her personality, she is very pleasant, wonderful awesome woman of God. I felt as if I was speaking with a family member. Janey is warm and friendly, and in my opinion deserves a promotion. She has exactly what customers are expecting when a service is being provided. Her smile is contagious and her professionalism is a ten. I have never felt more comfortable in a bank/credit union. Thanks Jenay Major for such a wonderful experience.

The level of professionalism is beyond words! I’m very impressed with the entire process! I had the pleasure of working with Zoie.Digioia from Bright Star and George Hernandez from Auto Advisors. Both individuals provided exceptional and prompt service. This is my second time working with both individuals which speaks volumes! To say I’m totally pleased would be an understatement! I went into the credit union to open an account. I requested Spanish speaking. It was busy so I got a young lady by the name of jenay major who spoke English only. She assisted me very professional and took her time with my account opening. The service was the best ever in banking I experienced

Brightstar credit union was extremely efficient was able to accommodate my needs very quickly. They also went beyond to ensure my satisfaction! The member service representative was amazing and explained all services and fulfilled my needs as a customer.

Every previous review is good and from members. This is my experience before before becoming a member. I went to open up an account. After registering to see a customer representative waited in the office for 40 minutes and left. I visited the same place again today . I registered to as usual to see a customer service representative. Since there were more than two people the staff advised me to wait in the car till some one calls to come in. Said time was 1:15 PM , Again waited 50 minutes in the car and then I left the place . At 3:29 PM some one called me to go in. But left the bank earlier. I requested an appointment for next day .Answer was no telephone appointment.That end of the matter.

I always have a very good interaction every time I have a transaction at the credit union. However, today was beyond good it was great!! Cynthia Mendez rocked!! She was extremely pleasant and very helpful. I had to go inside and open up another account and she was helpful the entire way. She had on her mask and had her barrier up as it was supposed to be followed due to COVID. She not only helped me open up the account I needed but helped me open another much needed account to help me save as well even while handling a few other transaction needs!! She had such a warm, welcoming, and pleasant personality. I wish other banking institutions could have a glimpse of how Cynthia works so they could model how a wonderful employee should be. Keep up the excellent work ethic Cynthia!!

Service was administered to me by Ms Cynthia Mendez, a staff of the Pembroke Pines Branch of Brightstar. She is the consummate professional who patiently took the time to explain details regarding my account. She also did the requisite follow-up that was necessary. I have been with Brightstar for over 10 years and continue to recommend this institution.

The other day I walked in Bright Star Credit Union located on Taft Street to open an account. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Daniel one of the tellers, he greeted me with the biggest warmest smile and spoke to me in a professional manner. I met with Shelley the Assistant Manager and told her I needed to open an account. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail which I appreciated, she's very professional and has a very charming personality. On another day I was greeted by Danielle one of the tellers and she was very professional and answered all my questions. I would recommend Bright Star Credit Union to everybody, the staff speak their customers with respect and put their needs first. "THUMBS UP" 😃.

As a prior Banker and a branch manager of one of the biggest financial institutions on the East cost, I have to admit that my experience with Ms. Liliana Restrepo and Ms. Cynthia Mendez as well as the teller line where extraordinary and very pleasant. Up to the point that I had the MISFORTUNE of dealing with the branch manager. In my opinion and after 25 years of retail and management experience it's my profound believe that she should not be working in a customer service position never the less in a management position! I got so frustrated with her behavior and attitude that I took my business and personal accounts to another financial institution. So if you are a customer and you conduct your business at this location try to avoid this person, the rest of the employees are great and the bank it's a great institution.

Very happy customer with BSCU. Always receive excellent customer service when conducting banking transactions in person, by phone, or by email. Glad I made the switch from the big banks years ago.

Zoie is no longer with the Credit Union This is the best news I received last week when I took my grandson to the Pembroke pines location for his banking needs. I was about to have my grandson close his account because of several issues I had with Zoie. she acted like she owned the Credit Union, always had a cold and unfriendly look and constantly talk down to her staff, not sure how or why she stayed employed for so long. Brightstar must make better judgement when hiring, especially for manager positions, I am smack in the middle of two poorly managed locations Pembroke Pines and Davie. The manager at the Davie location is another manager that needs to go she have the same bad attitude towards members and staff most times she is locked in her office. My daughter called and complained so many times nothing changed. Maybe I will still have my grandson close his account.

Had to call the Credit Union in reference to some needed service and some questions which were effectively answered clearly and adequately by Bria, thank you for your patience and service, much appreciated.

I have been a member of BrightStar Credit Union for many years and am posting a note of thanks and appreciation for their awesome service - and excellent interest rates!! Whenever I have requested a car loan, refinance or balance transfer, the credit union has been there for me with excellent customer service. I recently requested a balance transfer and my request was expedited by the branch manager so I was able to take advantage of their current promo interest rate. Thank you BrightStar!!

Pembroke Pines location! Wonderful staff Every time I enter the bank, or whenever I pull up to the drive-Thru. I would definitely have to say Clarelly Allende always makes sure my accounts and transactions are done correctly. She’s always great and wonderful full of energy. I love coming to this location.

Upon entering the credit union I was greeted by a gentleman at the desk very pleasant he also sign me in all although there was a sign-in area. Miss Zoie DiGioia was amazing, She was very informative and very helpful to explain all option that will be of benefit to me, I will recommend...

I was recommended to come here by a family member and I do not regret it simply based off the great customer service I received from one of their employees. I appreciated the assistance and patience I got from Elly when I arrived. Not to mention her knowledge of sports and casual conversations that she offered when she recognized my favorite team on my mask since obviously we have gone to the superbowl. I hardly recommend things or places to people but I would highly recommend going to BrightStar of Taft especially if you're a local in Pembroke Pines.

Banking with Brightstar Credit Union has been a wonderful experience. Their loan process is amazing. I have my mortgage and recently took out my second car loan with them. I went through the Pembroke Pines branch and Shelly the Assistant Branch Manager made the experience flawless. She is a wonderful sweet person who makes you feel like the most important person at all times. It took no time to get the loan booked.
