Braswell & Son Pawn Brokers Oak St, Conway

This was my first time to a Braswell & son. The store associate Kim Mcdonald who greeted me was one of the most wonderful pawn store associate I have ever met. She is very bright eyed and upbeat. You can tell she knows a lot about the products and store structure. She was very open, honest and easy to talk with. She has a clear set on putting the customers first! Most reviews I have to leave are bad experiences. But the way Kim went above and beyond to make the experience to this store one wanting me to visit again was more than enough for me to give this store and associate a 5 star rating. Great job Kim! Absolutely Wonderful! I had the pleasure of working with a young Man named Walker at brasswell & sons and he was a pleasure to work with! I will be a repeat customer at this shop, just so I can deal with Walker from now on. So My Wife and I came in to sell a Nikon camera. I gotta be honest, I always dread going to a pawn shop and haven't used one in a long time, because I haven't had good experiences with pawn shops in the past. But this was so different! As soon as you walk in Brasswell & Sons you can tell it's different and that it is a very high end shop. It's just really nice, clean, in a good part of town, and the merchandise is not a bunch of cheap junk. Lol. They have some really high end stuff. It has the feel of a really nice Bank, vs a pawn shop and the employees are so good that I would feel safe sending my Mom in there by herself, and I don't even want my Mom going to Wal Mart by herself! Haha. I was just really impressed with how professional Walker was and combine that with such a nice shop, in a nice part of town, and they gave me a fair price for my camera, 5 stars for sure!! I will go here from now on and I recommend you do the same.

I have been to Braswell&Son Pawnbrokers multiple times and each time I have had a pleasant experience. this USED to be my go-to pawn shop until COVID got bad. They decided that a global pandemic was the perfect opportunity to start pressuring people to spend their stimulus checks or what little money they had, on their overpriced items. Customers go in to pawn items, saying they hate that they have to but they are in serious need of money for bills or rent, Braswell accepts the items to pawn and then states pressuring them to “check out their sales and deals”, as if the customer didn’t just express financial difficulty in a difficult time. I get that a business is a business, but not all businesses are ran by money-hungry people. Pawn your items and shop elsewhere; this store is not even worth stepping foot in.

I have been going to this place since they first opened the doors in Conway and I still do. The staff is great and treat you like family and they remember my name and greet me as I walk in. I have purchased TVs, Laptops, movies, games, and even jewelry for great prices and the best quality! I have pawned items, purchased and even used their layaway for items at Christmas and I have never been disappointed! Brittany is great and so is everyone else that works there and I recommend them to everyone I know! They give the most on your pawns and they are always extremely friendly. If you are looking for quality jewelry or electronics or tools or whatever please check them out first believe me you won't be disappointed!!
