I started the home buying process as a first time buyer, in a crazy market, with a million questions and completely stressed. Then I was partnered with Chris Harding. Within a few minutes of talking to Chris my questions were starting to have answers to them and although home buying is stressful, it was much easier because Chris walked me through each step. It's not everyday your lender texts you after hours and on the weekend to check in, make sure you're not stressing and responds to your questions. The first call with Chris wasn't the typical "let's get this client committed and move on to the next". The first call was exactly like the last call we had. Helpful, patient and a voice calm in the chaos that is home buying. Even today as we sat down to close on our first home, Chris was right there lightening the mood, supportive and in the game to the end. you can't go wrong with this guy, he's what made BOE special, he's what made the home buying process tolerable and he built the trust. if you find yourself talking with BOE, make sure you're adamant about working with Chris Harding.

Shawn, Chris, and the team at Bank of England Texas were absolutely the best!! They were able to make the process stress free and clear. I previously was with another lender and could not get them to call me back. Not only did Shawn and the team react right away, we closed the house in 15 days!! First off, I would like to thank the BOE team of Shawn, Chris, Monika and Amy. They went above and beyond to ensure that our loan closed on the specified closing day. They literally worked late into the night the night before closing, getting things ready and dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s. THEY GOT IT DONE!!! This was the fourth Mortgage Loan that Shawn and the BOE team has done for our family. Their attention to detail and communication is the best I have ever encountered. BOE will always get our family’s business. The BOE mortgage application website is easy to navigate and upload documents and has a loan progress status bar that lets you know exactly what phase your loan is in and what’s coming next. That’s very important to me and keeps me informed and lets me know if there is any issues or additional documents needed from me. Buying a new home and getting a mortgage loan can be a very stressful time, having a team of professionals like the BOE team handling your loan takes the stress level down considerably.

Shawn was excellent in every aspect of enabling my wife and I to qualify for a loan. He is an excellent communicator and truly cares for his clients! We were prepared for every step in this process. I especially like his positive attitude and great work ethic. His two assistants, Monika and Stephanie, were so easy to work with and very professional in all their interactions with us! Wow - it was just an excellent experience and we qualified for the loan! I would not hesitate a moment to recommend Shawn to anyone!

Ariel and the entire BOE team were fantastic to work with. He took a look at our unconventional circumstances in desiring to buy a home and assured us we could make things work, and did they ever! The communication from start to finish was bar none. Ariel went above and beyond to make us feel valued and important. He even went so far as to FaceTime me from his office to try to help troubleshoot a computer issue I was having hindering me getting him a needed document. I would recommend Ariel and BOE to anyone!

BOE Texas did a tremendous job in helping me refinance my property and highly recommend anyone use them for their personal residence loan needs. I was skeptical when I spoke to Shawn and his team about refinancing my house because I had spoken to literally 20 other mortgage brokers who said it couldn't be done. I'm self-employed with many different businesses and all the other mortgage brokers said my financial picture was too complicated to underwrite. I close commercial real estate deals with zero problems, but getting a single family loan was difficult because of all my depreciation losses. BOE took a common sense approach to my refi and they were able to get the loan approve in a pretty seamless manner given the complexity of my financial situation.

BOE and the staff there are seriously top notch! Everything was explained and communicated the entire time. Staff was very nice and basically walked me through the refinance process holding my hand every step of the way. We were waiting for my divorce to be finalized which took longer than I had expected and they had my refinance completed 1 day after receiving the sign paperwork from the judge! I was so impressed!!! You guys have absolutely the worst radio ad running right now. I own a home. But every time your new add comes on I just think about all the people you're insulting. You should probably consider all the people that WANT to buy a home, but can't (or choose not to) because of the housing crisis/surge. Affordable housing is practically non-existent right now. Try "coaching" your listeners, instead of insulting them. It just makes me cringe every time I hear it...Doing this so you guys will see this and realize your ad may not be eliciting the reaction you want from some....

My husband and I worked with Chris Harding at BOE, during our loan process, when purchasing our home. The entire BOE team was exceptional! We never came across anyone that wasn't helpful or knowledgeable, and our direct contact Chris, worked tirelessly to get us to our closing day! Have you ever had that thought... "I don't want to deal with the bank for my house?" Well I will tell you I WANTED to deal with Courtney and her team! You ask... do they care? ABSOLUTELY! Brandon and his team were very receptive to my interests, criteria, and timeline for closing and took whatever steps necessary to make it happen.
