    I brought my 09 328i in for some basic servicing. When I got the vehicle back my left headlight was flooded with rain water and condensation. They told me it was my problem and quoted me a bill to repair the light. Albeit this happened about 2 years ago, it still irks me from time to time when I think about it. I’ll never go back. Just a fair warning from someone who spent a lot of money at this dealership. Beware.

    My experience today was a phenomenal one, Amar treated my husband and I like family. I felt he heard all my requests and placed me in the right vehicle!!! I’m extremely grateful to the staff team who assisted to make this a joyful experience. Thanks so much💞💞💞

    Do not give them a deposit on a vehicle unless you are 100% you are going to buy it. They do not like to refund your money and you will have to dispute it with your credit card company. Sales person gives you attitude and anger if you change your mind. Would not recommend shopping here ever.

    My first time here for service. I asked how long it would take for an oil change and the man told me about an hour. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours to find out that my car was still sitting in the back. I scheduled my oil change with another BMW.

    Extremely disappointed in my first experience with the service department. Waited almost two hours for an oil change to find out it wasn’t even started. Now I have to reschedule a simple oil change appointment and not looking forward going back. Probably should find a different BMW dealership instead of going back.

    Thought BMW of South Albany had some honesty and integrity, but NOT the case! They outright lied and were deceitful about the used car I purchased from them for my daughter. Don’t trust Jim Poissant or Rich Fortune! Tried to work with them, said they would ‘look into it’ and did absolutely nothing. A disgrace to the business for 'knowingly' selling us a water damaged vehicle.

    Bought my first BMW through this dealer recently. Great experience. My salesman Johnny really went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly for me. He was very knowledgeable and really knew all the specs of the car. Would 100% recommend this dealer and salesman!

    My daughter is attending Albany college off campus and away from her family so when her car broke down it was concerning. And of course there are no courtesy cars available cause of the pandemic. Christie Tarsa was my adviser and every time I talked to her she was pleasant, understanding and reliable. When she said she would call back she did. I spoke with two others also and they were nice to talk to also. Thank you BMW if Albany for just being nice! And my daughter’s car was fixed in less than 5 days. I was extremely surprised. OUTSTANDING SERVICE ALL AROUND!!

    I purchased a 2021 BMW X5 from this dealership at the end of January this year. I came in and was immediately assisted by client advisor Josh Febles. He provided excellent service and got me all wrapped up quickly. I was able to leave and have the car picked up later that day. Josh even went the extra mile to teach me about the car’s new features before I left the dealership. I would recommend this dealership, as I didn’t feel pressured and wasn’t being bamboozled by a typical car salesman. I recommend going to Josh when you’re in the market for BMW.

    Mixed feelings on my experience. Salesperson took his time with us allowing us to drive several vehicles until we decided on one. Negotiations were pretty straight forward (or so I thought) at the time. I asked standard questions about special financing and rebates... I was told of special financing rates but not told of incentives (rebates). Settled on a reasonable price thinking dealership came off sticker price. Long story short... Next day my wife was excited about picking up her new BMW. Exciting day, right. I was signing paperwork while the sales person was going over my wife's new car with her. I noticed on the sales invoice that the dealership included a $2,000 BMW rebate in my dealer discount. The discount off the sticker price was subsidized by a rebate that was not disclosed to me when I asked a direct question about it. I was lied to, and I don't do business with people I can't trust. I voiced my concern to the general manager because I was not going to move forward on the deal. To his credit, he listened and understood my concern. I felt I should be getting the rebate as it was secretly negotiated as part of my dealer discount. Anyway, I reached an acceptable compromise with the general manager and some money is coming back to me. Unfortunately, this experience poured some cold water on what is supposed to be a happy and exciting day. It didn't need to go down that way if the sales person was honest from the beginning. 'Caveat emptor' (Let the buyer beware) when dealing with this dealership.

    Id leave 0 stars if possible. I scheduled a test drive for a 2022 bmw 240i that I was told was in stock. I drove an hour to the showroom to be told the car isnt available. This is top tier scumbaggery. All it would have taken is a 2 minute phone call to me to notify me the car I would like to test drive has been sold. Dont do business here unless you want people leading you in circles and playing games about the availability of vehicles to be test driven. Not professional at all for a BMW dealership. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

    Just purchased my second BMW today with Ammar Bhatti and I am beyond excited and happy with my experience and purchase!!! Right off the bat I knew this dealership was special, Ammar and all of his colleagues made me feel special and important. Since my first time purchasing a car from here Ammar walked me through every step and made everything so easy for me and nothing has changed with my recent purchase.     Received excellent service. We picked out the car we wanted online, arranged everything over the phone from paperwork to insurance transfer. When we arrived (from out of town) the car was ready to go and we were in and out with a brand new car in 45 mins. Really helpful team of people there.

    Ammar in Sales was great. He followed through the whole process and was chill but friendly, knowledgeable, very polite, returned every call and was fully proactive without being overbearing at all. Really this was the best experience in buying a car I’ve ever had. It was really what you’d hope and expect to get from BMW. That said, another local BMW dealer (starts with K) didn’t even return my calls. Apparently selling a $60k car is too pedestrian for them. To date our family has bought six Beemers from BMW South Albany. I guess that says something about them.

    The staff was courteous and timely. The car was delivered quickly and the one issue we had was handled in a professional manner. It’s nice to receive service , and negotiate with people that still hold doors open and say thank you and please.

    The Service At BMW of South Albany was exceptional. My adviser was Brad, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable from my first conversation to my last. He secured a loaner car to make sure I could get around while my car was being repaired. He explain what was happening with my car in detail, told my what I should expect and the cost, he worked with my warranty to help keep my out of pocket cost to a minimum. But most importantly he listened to my concerns and made sure they were address. Everyone else at this dealership was very pleasant, I would definitely recommend them as a top BMW dealer.

    I had my first service appointment at this BMW dealer earlier this week for my car which I purchased form them in April. They were ready for me at the time they said they would be. The waiting area was very comfortable. The car was ready in the time promised. The car was washed and returned to me in beautiful shape. I have driven BMW's for 22 years now and though I have been happy with all the dealers I have dealt with, this one exceeds my already high expectations!

    Superb service. These guys are efficient, competent and friendly. Their service is fantastic! My daughters and I were stranded at Windham Mountain. BMW of South Albany was able to fix the valve stem I broke accidentally putting air in the tire. Could not have asked for better service and clear communication in the process.     Update: just a few days after recieving the car I am having issues. The car is making extremely loud noise. Highly disappointed as this should not happen. A dealer near me told me its cupping tires even though the tires should not be in this shape when the car only has 23k miles on it.... The sales man at BMW Albany told me not to have the work done because they'd take care of it. He just called me back and said thst although the guy who delivered my car hears the noise too...there is nothing they will do for me. This is disgusting and I guess this is likely why the car was for sale for nearly 40 days. I picked my car up and didn't have the work done because they said they'd do it and make this right. Now they are saying they will not. Horrible place. I was happy st first with the process and how lovely Johnny Wang was and is still being thst is until I recieved a car with clear issues.

    A little over a year ago, I was in the market for a new vehicle. Prior to scheduling an appointment at BMW of South Albany, I had been to other dealerships that did not seem to take me as seriously, most likely because I was only 19 at the time. However, dealing with Jim Baker here at BMW was the absolute best experience I could have asked for! He was super professional and took me and my questions seriously. I ended up buying a 320xi that I am still in love with! Also the service department is great, especially Jeff who always seems to be in a great mood! I will never go anywhere else for my BMW and hope to work with Jim again for my next one!

    A hidden gem located in Glenmont. The staff were accommodating. I sent my numbers they came back with what I was looking for and I came out even lower. The signing process was quick and efficient. The car had a mark on the hood and they said they would fix it but couldn’t fit at least a week. Knowing we were going on a trip they offered us to take the car then bring it back and pick up a loaner but when we went to sign papers the very next day the hood was already fixed and looked stunning.

    First of all this place is a joke they have the worst customer service, and the only person that isn’t a snake is dean one of the sales people but every person in management should be ashamed of themselves they sold me a used 2016 Subaru Impreza claimed they fixed the sway bar before putting it up for sale and yet funny enough it was not and was causing an awful noise so I take it back tell them what’s going on they say it sounds like struts so they’ll replace that free and I should be happy cause that’s a 2,000 dollar service that the dealership is eating. they then “fix” the car and tell me they took it for a drive and it’s no longer making the LOUD OBVIOUS noise, so I get in the car to take it home again and I didn’t even reach the road before I heard the noise again so either they are incompetent or just horrible people mind you I’d love them and this would be a 5 star review if they would’ve just done their due diligence and took their time to look at the car to make sure nothing is wrong with it so I guess what I’m saying is save yourself the headache and stress and go somewhere else where they actually care about the customer, providing quality service, and not just money

    Had a bulge in my tire and showed up without an appointment. They knew I was pressed for time and managed to get a new tire on my car promptly. And unbeknownst to me, the tire was still under warranty, so minimal out of pocket cost.

    The entire experience at BMW of South Albany was and has always been better than any other I have ever experienced. It is clear that the leadership from Maria and Jim is top notch as everyone in the organization is friendly, professional and goes above and beyond to serve you.     We bought a used convertible - dream car - from Dean Fuino and we couldn't have been happier or more impressed. I've been involved with car sales for friends and family for 15+ years, and Dean is the most professional, helpful, and friendly sales person I've ever worked with. He even asked if we wanted the top up or down on delivery and helped with a part that needed to be put back in place - for free and without us asking.     I kept tabs with this dealership since September when the car I was interested in was being manufactured. Salesman, Mr. Bhatti was super friendly and was able to communicate it with me through the entire process over the last few months!     Despite the hourly rate for a diagnostic on my check engine light and BMW of South Albany asking me for another hour to diagnose my tire light (I am certain both could be done within one hour), I would be remiss to not say that the service and friendliness of the staff is impeccable. Even as I walked from the service station through the showroom I must have been greeted with friendly smiles and a hello by every employee. I definitely will be using their services again.

    Purchased a used car several months ago, and I would say I am very happy with my decision. Going in to test drive a vehicle was an easy stress free experience, and everyone I dealt with was very friendly. When I returned several days later to purchase the car Wayne and the rest of the team were helpful and answered questions honestly. They even allowed me to have the mechanics diagnose a sound coming from the car's heating system. Some of the paperwork ended up taking a bit longer to process, but in the end everything worked out fine. Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase, so far no issues at all and they did a great job detailing the vehicle. Buying a pre-owned car from BMW South Albany was a fantastic value compared to other local dealers offering the same model car.

    Dealership wasted my time when I expressed interest in a car, provided a credit card when requested and the salesman dropped the ball and didn't process the charge to hold the vehicle. Result, car was sold to another customer and was told I could order a car with a 10+ week wait time. Uh, no thanks. Will take my business elsewhere. Thanks for unforgettable experience.

    EDIT: had to change my review after I caught one the service advisors joy riding my car after he told me my car was ready to pick up. Saw via the My BMW app that instead of being parked in Glenmont, my vehicle was doing laps on 787 by Empire State Plaza. Screw these guys and go to Keeler instead. Original: Excellent service department. Thoughtful and respectful, and you're left without a doubt that these guys know their Bimmers!

    Had to edit my review after my first and only interaction with their service department....Avoid this dealer the service is horrible! This dealer has the worst customer service, and I had the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealer. I had my 2020 750 in for an oil change, and the rear tablet has never worked, and I wanted it fixed. I made an appointment for service on Wednesday and dropped it off the night before; they never called even to acknowledge they had the vehicle. I called at 11:30 (my appointment was at 9 am for an oil change), and they said they did not know the status but would have to call me back. After waiting hours for them to call me back, I had to call them, and the rude gentlemen in the service department said they were backed up and wouldn’t get to it until tomorrow and asked if that was ok (what choice did I have). Thursday, I got no call, so I called them, and they said they needed to get a status and would call me back. After an hour, I decided to drive to the dealer (30 min drive), and when I got there, they didn’t even touch the car; it was parked in the same spot. When I went in, they said it was third in line (for an oil change and to look at a tablet), and the rude “gentlemen” gave me a condescending apology and said it would be ready at the end of the day and they would call. Well, guess what they never called, so on Friday I call, and they said, oh, the service was done and we called you, but you didn’t answer, yet another lie, and we left a message, yet another lie. They now have had the car for three days for an oil change and to look at a tablet, I went after hours to get the car, and the tablet still does not work, and I must assume they changed the oil (they have repeatedly lied to me so not sure that is a safe assumption). Also, when I picked up the car, there were dirty boot prints on the carpet, and the vehicle was not even washed. The sales experience was good, but they cannot supply service, so it looks like I will be going to Keeler for service and my new X7. Review based on Initial sale : Highly recommend BMW of South Albany, I purchased a New 750i from Johnny and it was a great experience. Johnny in sales was just great to deal with and is extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and worked hard to get the deal done. I’ve been driving Mercedes for the past 15 years and this is my first BMW and the purchasing experience was fantastic!

    Cannot say enough good things about this dealership and the staff. We had the pleasure of working with Rich, Johnny and Jeff and they were terrific! Even though we only purchased a used vehicle from them and any commission/profit they made was likely much less than the new BMWs, they treated us as if we were purchasing their top-line vehicle. Top-notch customer service! For a change, we left a dealership not only feeling good about the vehicle but about the entire experience. I would highly recommend them. They'll be our first stop for any future vehicles!

    I was BLOWN AWAY with my experience with Alex Hoskin & my experience with BMW of South Albany! I had been into several luxury dealerships over the holiday weekend, each disappointing me more than the last. I felt a pretentious vibe at some. A dismissive vibe at others. The rest were just incredibly pushy (to the point that even if I liked the car, I wouldn’t by it). I was dreading this purchase. By pure luck, I happened to be connected with Alex via an online inquiry. This was really my last ditch effort to connect with a dealership. He was just perfect. He answered every one of my numerous questions (over several days), was polite, never pushy, and assuring. Once in person to view the car & potentially bring it home, things got even better. He allowed me ample time to answer more questions, check out the car as much as I needed to, & assure myself I was making the right decision. All the staff members were pleasant & checking in. All apologizing for delays in processing (which did not feel like delays at all!) It is not easy to spend almost 4 hours with someone you barely know & leave feeling like old friends. Alex made amazing rapport. I left BMW of South Albany excited & 100% confident in my decision. I also left as Alex’s biggest fan! I plan to make all future purchases with Alex & BMW of South Albany!

    Great experience. Great car. They were the only ones that had the vehicle I had been looking for for over a month. When I arrived, it was sitting there looking pretty and waiting for me to test drive it. There was no pressure from the sale men and everyone with professional. When I decided that I would take the car a few days later and came down to make the down payment the car was sitting there looking even better than it did the first time!!! LOL. Clean, detailed and smelling good. Everything was done in a timely fashion and I drove off in my dream car. Down the road I will definitely buy my next car there!!! THANKS GUYS! (Tracey C)

    Highly recommend BMW of South Albany and the entire team that works here. Dean and Johnny in sales are 2 of the best I have ever delt with. They both are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable on all BMW’s inside and out. As a member of the BMW club and having done my research they made buying my first BMW the best experience it could have been from start to finish. I would never go anywhere else for a BMW as I wouldn’t have felt comfortable buying a new BMW from anyone else other than Dean and Johnny who know the models they sell inside and out.

    We got a flat 4 hours from home; we called BMW's 800 number and they found us BMW of South Albany which had a tire in stock. We slowly drove the 50+ miles to the dealer and they were so efficient, nice and helpful. We left with a new tire within 45 minutes and were able to get back on the road home.

    Great experience with Sales, Johnny Wang, but finance department fell way short of expectations. Jeff (?) very condescending, didn’t share the interest rate until requested and made us feel like we were uniformed consumers. Wish I’d shopped around and not financed through BMW.

    Very professional, polite, and courteous staff. Seth was extremely helpful, sanitizing and preparing multiple vehicles due to COVID-19 so that we could test drive them and make a decision. Joe also gave us a great deal on the vehicle. Highly recommend this dealer, very good experience!

    Just bought my first BMW. There were several dealerships to choose from, but this place was recommended to me. Kelly, who works the website, was so incredibly helpful and friendly. Not pushy at all (in that car salesman kind of way that we all hate). Within two weeks of telling her what I was looking for, she found my baby! (I had criteria ...and she understood) When I went there to see it, it was love at first site! I was then introduced to Jim Baker who is a seasoned sales person (40 yrs) and is again, knowledgeable and friendly. He handled the transaction and the test ride. All and all it was a very good experience and I will be dealing with them again in about 3 to 4 years when I trade up. If you’re gonna buy a BMW ..this is the place to do it!! Giving 5 stars but I have not dealt with service yet. But if they are anything like sales, I should be in good hands!! Thank you Kelly and Jim!!

    It was a great experience for me. I was only going for a test drive not imagining I would ever purchase a BMW. I was treated great with no pressure to buy and I was amazed and comfortable with Johnny Wang. He was informative and very helpful. The staff was as well awesome , I just finished college and was eligible for the BMW college graduate program. I would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone.
