I wish I could give 0 stars. A constant disappointment and frustration, the customer service at this bmo is absolutely horrible, staff are extremely rude, short, and end up causing me more problems and stress to begin with. Whenever i have to go to the bank, it takesat least an hour and a half of my day, and most of it is just waiting around. Seriously, some of the worst customer service, terrible staff, and all around business. Steer clear if you dont like your time being waster, and you enjoy a stress free day.

I have joined BMO in August 2020 and have only positive experience with the branch in Carol Stream on West Army Trail. Almost all of my transactions are with Urszula. I can't say enough about her professionalism and the great customer service. 5 star rating.

Ricardo was very helpful, as soon as I walked in the bank he approached to me and greeted me, I had few questions about banking with BMO, he seems very knowledgeable and he was also very quick to answer everything I asked,I will definitely go back to open an account with him. Great customer service.

Worse online banking experience ever! Website does not offer any option of closing accounts. Correspondence over web is unhelpful, deferring to over the phone representative, and rep defer to mail written request. Do you all communicate with one another? Avoid this company at all cost!

I'm leaving my review for BMO Harris Bank in general... I have a PO box 6201 in Carol Stream, IL for a mailing address to send my auto loan payment to and I am HIGHLY DISSATISFIED with their system. Two times in 6 months they have lost my check. This happened February 2020 and they called me in March saying my payment is late. I was so confused since I had mailed my payment weeks ago!! So I ended up making a payment over the phone and they would send me an email confirmation within 24 hours. I never got the email confirmation within 24 hours, but guess what? My check that they had no record of having was miraculously cashed!! Then the next day I finally received a confirmation email about my payment that I made over the phone. So... 2 payments went through in 3 days. Now, August 2020 I noticed it has been 2 weeks since I mailed my check and it hasn't gone through my bank account, so I call and they of course have no record of my check once again!! And the customer service lady gives me a lecture that I shouldn't send a check but pay with auto pay... well then why do you even bother sending out the payment booklets?! BMO Harris, your system seems VERY DISORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I will never ever go through them for an auto loan again or recommend them!

If I could give no star that's what they would get. The worst customer service I've ever had! one hour and 45 minutes on hold just to be hung up on in a line transfer. And this is not the first time something like this has happen! I highly recommend not doing business at all with this company. They are not willing to help you out.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK!!! They do not care about security. Someone opened an account in my name that wasn't me. Once I found this out they were completely unhelpful in figuring out what happened. They even asked for me to send a notarized copy of my ID to access the account!?!? Now why does a bank need photo ID to access/close an account yet not require an ID when opening an account? Its because they are incompetent. This unprofessional bank does not care about security or you at all!

Worst bank ever. Opened and online money market, to close it, you are required to send a letter and told it would take 7 days but it has taken three weeks so far. If you make one mistake when you enter your password, you are locked and are required to have a lengthy call with a manager and send a notarized letter. Their interest rate is not competitive at all. It feels they do anything possible to keep your money as long as possible. Not worth it for all the grievance they make you go through.

Worst customer service!! Tried to call regarding a charge showing up and cannot speak to anyone. Tried going in & had to wait longer than I could to speak to someone. Considering transfering ALL of my accounts to another bank.

Put your money someplace else. They don't even make an effort to please their customers. Took 15 minutes to make a simple deposit. Only one teller and she was taking care of a personal banker. When some finally took my deposit they disappeared behind a wall then came back and asked for another signature and disappeared again. Worst part is I went in so I could get big bills instead I got 20's.. if I asked for big bills I probably still would not be out of there.
