A few months back I gave a review over frustration I had with overdraft fees, after having the overdraft protection removed I haven’t had an issue since. The most important thing to me is that, at the end of the day, whenever I’ve had an issue or problem it’s never been with Blue Eagle’s staff, as they are some of the most friendly and personable of any bank/credit union I’ve dealt with. They’ve also provided genuine effort when trying to accommodate not only myself, but my mother, who also banks there, as well. When we’ve needed assistance with anything or help dealing with unchartered territory, someone has always been there or got right back to us, to help us on the matter and did so in a way that made us feel comfortable, not rushed, or just like “another customer” which means a lot in this day and time. Great people. Great environment.

13 year old daughter had account with $50 dormant for 2 years. They don’t charge dormant fees for kids per website but we moved and did not change address so they charged $5 per returned piece of mail - for 10 months!!! The same pieces of mail she would receive for free if our address was good. Their explanation was the charge was to let the member know they have a bad address. She’s a kid. She doesn’t have online banking and the account is dormant. How would she know? Was also told it costs them $5 to process the returned mail. Lol. Right. USPS (in the same building) charges to send the mail back. I’m sorry but a kids account should have no fees. Period. Will not do business with them again. And blue eagle, please don’t respond with a canned response to call your service center. Been there done that. They don’t help and can’t help. Hope blue eagle uses my 13 year olds $50 well - Easy as taking candy from a baby -right?

I wanted to leave a review about Marah Saville. She has helped me with numerous loans with, Blue Eagle Credit Union over the years. She is so pleasant & goes above & beyond to help me with my loan decisions. She worked up multiple scenarios for me to choose from, with different terms & different interest rates. Her willingness to support her customers is hands down, Amazing!!! She makes borrowing money a pleasant experience & i have had some not so pleasant experiences in the past. I have & will continue to refer her to my friends & family.

Was told it is the best kept banking secret in Roanoke. I was referred as a new customer & very different banking experience, almost boutique banking. Pretty good individual attention and great rates on a LOC. So far, so good!
