Blackhawk Community Credit Union 75th St, Kenosha

I've been with this bank since I was 5yrs old when I got my first savings account, that's when it was Kenosha City Credit Union. And now 40yrs later I'm still with you guys as Blackhawk Credit Union. Each and everyone of you girls that work there are amazing and always have been. Thank you for all you do

This is the worst credit union AND employees I have ever seen. I applied on-line to open a savings account. No one EVER contacted me, so I called them and the lady told me I couldn't open a savings account because I owed money to a bank. I called the bank in question and they told me no I didn't. So I called back and they gave me a different resson, because my credit score was too low!! Really? To open a savings account? My checking account is with a major bank and all I wanted was to open a savings account to start saving to buy a house and somewhere to put my bonus money from the company I work for. I probably make more than 7/8's of their employees, but I was denied. Additionally, one of the main reasons I wanted to join is because I read on their website that they have programs to help people build their credit and they denied me a stinking losey savings account because my credit score was too low?? This doesn't even make sense to me! They need to have a minus star on here because they don't even deserve one star!

There has never been an issue that they as a staff have not handled perfectly. Great people!

I had two personal checking accounts, a business checking account and a mortgage at another local bank but when the bank was bought-out I had nothing but issues and their new online banking for business accounts was horrendous! The team at Blackhawk helped refi a mortgage my bank couldn't and were nothing but pleasant during the whole process. So, I went to open a personal & business checking/savings and two kids savings account at Blackhawk - I misread their closing time and showed up 30 mins before they closed to open all of these accounts. I apologized and suggested coming back at another time BUT Javi and Dia (sp?) offered to open all 4 of those accounts that day and stayed an hour past closing to help me -FANTASTIC cutomer service! Jessica, the main teller I see often, is always kind and helpful with whatever questions I may have. Given the industry I work in, my hours are often wonky and Matt has personally brought papers to my business for me to sign and personally delivered my mortgage tickets. I have nothing but great things to say about Blackhawk and their wonderful team!

This place has everything you need! Great service and knowledgeable staff.
